LG did almost everything right. They included features in the camera I really wanted in my G Pro. What they DIDN'T do, is make burst mode always on. Seriously, I should not have to select a separate mode just to take burst shots. Burst shots are usually spontaneous. You want to get a good picture of something that's in motion. You don't have time to switch modes first.
Samsung, HTC, and finally Apple get this. If I could change one damned thing about this phone, it would be that.
/rant. Love everything else about this phone.

Nah, GS4 has it built in. Just hold. Older builds on the GS3 required a separate mode, I believe.

The thing is, when it's always active, you never HAVE to use it, but it's there if you need it fast. Minor oversight on LG's part, but annoying none the less. The hardware is certainly capable.
I wish it were a toggle as well. Actually any of the modes I'd love to toggle. The time capture as well.

Hi. I am excited to get this too but I need to ask if the camera focusing and time to snap is fast or slow? I gave up on s4 because of its slow camera resulting in really blurry images. My note2 is really fast camera tks
Taking pictures of stationary objects is great. The quality is amazing. But I can't get a good shot of my daughter for the life of me. That's to be expected with a 6 month old that never stops moving. It looks so weird though, it isn't just blurry the pictures come out what I can only describe as muddy. That's not really a big deal to me though. I fully expect blurry shots to look horrible.

There is no action mode. There is a sports mode, though. That may be what you want. It's supposed to reduce blur.

Yes. I decided on the note 2 instead of the sg3. I had the sg3 already but then I saw all of the features of the gn2. I'm use to the size already. I'm just a little embarrassed to hold it to my ear. Lol I'm sure that will change soon.
I love the multi window feature.
I can't wait to root it so I can have more apps in the multi Window.

I came from a GNex as well. With Beans and Nova launcher, this phone feels like a larger version of the Nexus on steroids! :good:

I came from the Epic 4G Touch and that phone was a huge brick. This thing is huge and I love it, but not so big that it's a pain to use. Everytime my wife hands me her iPhone 5 to talk to her mom I feel like I am going to drop that little thing.

Congrats! This phone exceeds my expectations I had for it. You know you don't have to root to get more apps in Multiview right? You can just mod the apk/installer of the apps you want it there and install them.

i dont know how you guys get such nice pics, this is my second dna and even though i love this phone, the camera for me sucks, worst camera for me i feel like its a VGA camera. Any pic i take looks pixelated especially if you try n zoom in, its terrible. Both DNA's i had were the same issues with camera i dont know what is up with it lol

Same for me. The pics look fine on the camera but zoomed in or on a PC they all look grainy.
Could it be a setting, maybe they are too big and don't translate well on lower res?
If anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them !

Yea some people got hurt in the stands. Those car are really moving, and you feel it when standing next to the track. Kinda scary having a car 3ft from you go by at 200mph.

Speculation.... Could be brand free like the S4. Except the back
I like it. I like the Snapdragon 800, the speakers at the bottom and the headphone jack at the bottom. I think if someone would trade i may do it. But it not having a sdcard does suck. I have the 32GB s4 and a 32GB SDCard. It would be nice if it did and is the battery non removable? not a big deal if its not. I go all day with my s4 and still have 50% left. But i don't like the quickwindow cover I like the look of the s view cover a lot better and love using it. It is nice to see how much stuff the quickwindow cover does though.

Nah, I'm rooted with TWRP on MDK and the specs are perfectly what i wanted in a phone. 5" screen 1080p 2gb ram removable battery and SD slot. I was one that never had any lag on the phone even before root (i waited 4 days to root). I get normally 6+ hours of on screen time and once got just shy of 8 hours.
No need for more phone. i mean maybe in a year or so and even then this phone will be almost as good as what comes out then. Plus i don't like LG overall. Only this phone as a true nexus would be tempting.

Actually, its supposed to be fingerprint resistant, watch the key note if you dont believe it. However I think it comes down to how dirty your fingers really are.
I keep thinking mine has a plastic film over it still, sometimes it really looks like.

hey man! i love the phone..amazing screen. quicker than my GS4. some bits of lag that annoy me (theres lag when going back to teh home screen..seems as if the launcher redraws every signle time, but it freezes movement so you don't actually SEE the redraw.)
the one was a great phone, and i loved my DNA..but the camera on both were meh. i played with a one in the store, and while it's great, and those spekaers rock, the screen was too small.
the speaker is nothing special on the G2, to be honest. there's some kind of built in limiter/compressor that you CAN'T turn off, which sucks, because it makes music sound kinda crappy over it. haven't tried headpohnes yet.
over all, fast, awesome phone though with a great screen.

def! i'm seeing mike D and scott around too, so who knows, we might get some good stuff going over here.
the lag i believe is simply the launcher handling refreshes. it's not always there, but sometimes hwen you go back home and try to switch pages irght away, it doesn't do anything, then it moves over very choppy.

Hey fellow members I currently have a note 3 on Verizon... U know spec wise the note is more powerful but my girlfriend recently got a one max and I'm liking what I see.... Anybody here coming from a note 3.. Can tell me.... How's battery life... How's the experience will I miss the slightly newer processor.. Is the radio reception on par or better?... How's Ron development?... I just need feedback so I'll know I'm making a good decision... Thanks guys
I had a Note 3 too and I don't really miss it at all. The battery life is about the same. I have yet to find anything that I can't do on the One Max that I could do on the Note 3. (Subtracting all the S-Pen stuff, of course.) In my personal opinion, radio reception is at the very least on par with. ROM development is growing and you don't have to worry about KNOX blowing out any chance of a warranty. All in all, I'd recommend the move.

It's actually been proven on YouTube that the one max can load webpages faster then the note.

Same here for me here.
I've got my note 3 since two month now and it's really a great device. But every day I think about switching to the max.
Before the note 3 I got the very first note and now I think it would be nice to have something different.
This spen stuff is not bad but to be honest I don't really need that. Sometimes it's quite useful but I think I can live without that.
I hope that the community will grow in the next weeks.

Same here man had note 2 and the galaxy s3 before this kinda burnt out on Samsung it's a wonderful device but I do wanna try something different with the max.. And from what I've seen the max is an impressive device

I think i can tolerate it I don't take many pics with my phone and I did a brief comparison with my note cam and my girlfriend's max cam and the note was better in the day time (not mind blowing though) but at night and in dim areas the shots looked more natural with the max... So i think I could deal with the camera downgrade..

I was only referring to the front cam.
So the front cam is bad on the max.? . (haven't tested it)

Really thinking myself about switching just got the note 3 I love it but I've been down this road before with it this is my second one I'm really thinking hard on it I have 12 days left to take it back to best buy and swap it for the One Maxx so I shouldn't be disappointed huh fellas? ??

I'll keep you updated... I should have it in the next hour... Gonna put it thru it's paces the next few days.. It's gonna be refreshing to not be running TouchWiz... Haven't touched htc since the thunderbolt.... Hope the change is more positive than negative
