Photo Organizer that actually moves photo's - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just wondering if anybody knew of a Camera app or organizer app that actually moves pictures instead of just displays them differently via a viewing app?
For example it would be great to have photos automatically go into pre-set albums or quickly and easily reorganize them afterwards etc. I know I can manually move them via file managers but looking for a dedicated app with different options/filters etc.
Anybody know of apps that can do this?
TIA.

Anyone?

Thanks for reply but did you actually properley read the OP?
Could you please give any relevant info about app and how it meets needs because I had a quick look at features and it seems completely different as its a motion picture capture and doesn't mention anything about what I mentioned in first post.

Quickpic.
A very nice gallery app with the option to conveniently move pictures to new or existing albums.

Thanks but as I said I'm looking for something that physically moves and organized them. Quickpic just creates virtual albums like standard gallery.

Media Organizer. Does not move automatically, but it moves photos, creates directories, etc
I know it is a paid app. Not sure if a free one is available, it might.

No my friend.
I use quickpic a lot.
Whenever I move a photo from one album to another, it physically moves the photo file to the desired folder.
I can also create new albums (folders) from within the app.

Thnx for help but I have tested app and it doesn't create real folders on storage it creates virtual folders/albums which isn't what I'm looking for.
[edit] Actually I take that back it does move them but to internal, will look more into app. Thanx.

[Q] Sub-Folders in Gallery

Does anyone know how to create custom sub-folders in the stock gallery?
For instance i need to make a Chicago folder to appear in the stock gallery.
QuickPic works but it doesnt show 3d pics
EDIT- fixed!
You would have to create these sub folders on a pc or with a file.manager as far as I know

Android 3D Gallery

Has anyone had success getting this to run properly? I installed the apk and it starts up fine, but once i enter a folder and start scrolling right through the thumbnails, eventually, once i get very deep into the folder, i get a force close. It doesnt happen with folders containing lesser quantities of images though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Quickpic is far better than the stock one. I would prefer the asop one but quickpic will do until then.
Thx for the heads up on quickpic. Great app! Wish i knew about it earlier.

Sense stock mail app: Is there any way to select all?

I get a ton of email that I need to mark as read, but I can't find a quick way to mass select.... Am I missing something?

I feel like an idiot! Thanks!
Here is another trivial one. The sense gallery shows my download folder, which has pictures/garbage from all my exchange email I get in the sense email app. Is there a way to keep gallery from picking up this crap, or change where the sense mail app stores/cache's its images? The .no media file trick doesnt seem to work.

Make a file called .nomedia in the folder. No spaces and nothing else in the file name. Just tried it and it works.

Can you reboot and see if stuff shows up? I still get an "all downloads" section in my gallery which contains a ton of images from html email from the sense mail app. I have the. . nomedia file created as well.

Make sure you have a .nomedia file in the folder with the pics. I made a .nomedia file as shown in the attachment, and that picture immediatly got removed from the all downloads section of my gallary. Rebooted and still not there. Deleted the file and it showed back up.

I downloaded another gallery apps and the no media works, however the attachments were still showing from the email app. Maybe the all downloads folder in the gallery is an aggregate of more than just the download folder on the sdcard? Quickpic suits my purposes though.

Interesting, I wonder where the mail folder stores the attachments? I changed the mail app to not store any attachments, and that solved the issue that way too. Thanks!

correct. And if you put .nomedia there and they are in there, it still shows up, which was driving me nuts.

They don't for me. They are hidden when I put a ".nomedia" in there. Make sure you spelled it right and what you used to create it didn't add some kind of extension to it.

Could someone upload the original photos in the album app?

I restored my z2 and it deleted them, also all the songs and videos that were originally on the phone. I've tried everything to recover them, But i was hoping someone here would be nice enough to zip up all the photos and videos and songs to a site so i can download them again. it shouldnt be that big of a size.
Here you request. Enjoy.

Sorry wish I can help but kkkok8051 you can use mediafire, it's free as well! The pics you posted are downscaled and compressed. You can add all the pics, videos and audio files in a zip file and upload them on mediafire
Hope that helps

yes, agreed. was about to reply with this. I'm sure down the line someone will want them as well so it'd be best to upload all of the files at once. you can use the free program 7zip to zip them up
Fresh from Polish distribution (probably the same D6503 as everywhere)

Any way to use G3 gallery?

I actually miss the G3 gallery app. I loved how you could pinch and either swipe to delete or share... It was much faster than tapping, then tapping to delete or share... I tried just putting the apk as a system or user app and it wouldn't work. Anyone know of a method to make it work?

Aaaand I just accidentally broke the stock gallery by converting it to a user app with Titanium Backup so I could greenify it.... Oooops. Now Titanium Backup can't seem to find it and I can't find the apk... Oh well. Off to find another gallery app... Haha.

I miss that feature as well, strange omission by LG. The apk has to be residing somewhere o.k. the device, have you tried using ES to search/dig for it?
On the bright side, at least you have root.

I looked around for the APK and couldn't find it for some weird reason... Honestly I haven't fooled with it as much as I should. I just installed Quickpic. It's basically the same thing. Which is kind of a shame because that pinch feature was kind of unique to the G3 gallery (I don't know if it was on the G4 or not). It was strange for them to leave that out. Seems like a nice feature....
