Could someone upload the original photos in the album app? - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I restored my z2 and it deleted them, also all the songs and videos that were originally on the phone. I've tried everything to recover them, But i was hoping someone here would be nice enough to zip up all the photos and videos and songs to a site so i can download them again. it shouldnt be that big of a size.

Here you request. Enjoy.

Sorry wish I can help but kkkok8051 you can use mediafire, it's free as well! The pics you posted are downscaled and compressed. You can add all the pics, videos and audio files in a zip file and upload them on mediafire
Hope that helps

yes, agreed. was about to reply with this. I'm sure down the line someone will want them as well so it'd be best to upload all of the files at once. you can use the free program 7zip to zip them up

Fresh from Polish distribution (probably the same D6503 as everywhere)

[q] re-installing allshare

So I am a little new to this, but I don't think I am doing anything terribly wrong. I have a nandroid backup of my original rom and I also have the individual apk's backed up to my sd.
I am running eugenes vibrant9 rom.
Most of the bloatware removed I couldnt care less about, but allshare is the one gem that actually works really well for me to stream pretty much any movie from my computer to my phone over wifi. Most of my files are divx so it works best for me. Anyways, I tested bringing back something minor like the kindle app using root explorer and it worked. In fact I think all the apps I removed before are able to be brought back this way...sans allshare. I have the dlna.apk and the dlna.odex, but nothing I have tried works. Other than the method above I tried installing it by clicking on it, moving it from my computer via adb push. Is there something i'm missing? Some library I need to move over as well? Thanks in advance.

Never mind I found a deodexed rom that had a deodexed version of allshare. Loads now, cant test til later tonight though.

I know it's off topic, but I noticed that you mentioned, you have alot of divx videos. Does that mean allshare works with divx for you? I was under the impression that allshare only supports mp4 containers.

woah, that's weird, I wish my worked as well. It always gives me the 'Video format is not supported' error. I am gonna try again. Are you using the PC share manager from Samsung or through Windows Media Player?

Im just sharing my files through windows. I have windows 7. I just set it to share my media and use file sharing to share the individual files I want to. Allshare sees my computers name and lets me play the videos on my phone.

It worked! It's even better than Samsung's PC share manager, because the software doesn't allow avi or mkv to work. Thank you!
Although, it's kinda sad that allshare doesn't work over 3g.

I tried the same thing but it won't work for me... I used Root Explorer and put the deodexed dlna.apk in /system/app but it won't show up. I rebooted my phone. What am I missing?

Weird, I used the deodexed rom from anomalous3. I only downloaded it and extracted only the dlna.apk with root explorer. Then copied it to system/app. Im using eugenes vibrant9 rom, havent tried it on the hybrid.

As I said in my last post, I got it from anomalous3's deodexed rom. Would you not think to look in the developers forum for it yourself? But here is the thread. Good luck. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=743506

Thanks but it does not seem uploading video well.
I am still having the same problem. MOTO tech suggests to hard reset the phone. Before I do this, I would like to know if others have the same problem uploading video to picasa over wifi. Thanks.
Just tried PicasaVidUp lite from the market
Worked great.
Have you tried a different WiFi connection a free hot spot.
Thanks. The app seems do the trick with no error.

Need help with dropbox camera upload.

I am looking for 3 things.
1. Is there a way to disable video uploading? I only want to back up photos.
2. Is there a way to force dropbox to only upload when connected to a charger? I find the lack of this option in the app to be ridiculous really. I thought dropbox would be a fairly mature app by now.
3. How can I disable the uploading of the screenshot folder? I really have no need to back up these and it just clutters the camera upload folder.
I am rooted so if there is any root way to do it then do tell me. And if there is some other service that can provide me with all these features then do tell as well.
Thanks.
The first two can't really be solved, unless dropbox adds that functionality. For the third one you could try adding .nomedia file to screenshots folder and see what dropbox does about it. .nomedia file hides particular folder from being searchable by android aps like gallery and music, so it might work for dropbox too. Worth a try. You still would be able to access screenshots through file manager

Thanks for pointing out that you find a solution by using a thrid party app.
I know that app is good, but i would like to find a "workaround" with the official dropbox app.

Photo Organizer that actually moves photo's

Just wondering if anybody knew of a Camera app or organizer app that actually moves pictures instead of just displays them differently via a viewing app?
For example it would be great to have photos automatically go into pre-set albums or quickly and easily reorganize them afterwards etc. I know I can manually move them via file managers but looking for a dedicated app with different options/filters etc.
Anybody know of apps that can do this?
TIA.
Anyone?

Thanks for reply but did you actually properley read the OP?
Could you please give any relevant info about app and how it meets needs because I had a quick look at features and it seems completely different as its a motion picture capture and doesn't mention anything about what I mentioned in first post.
Quickpic.
A very nice gallery app with the option to conveniently move pictures to new or existing albums.

Thanks but as I said I'm looking for something that physically moves and organized them. Quickpic just creates virtual albums like standard gallery.

Media Organizer. Does not move automatically, but it moves photos, creates directories, etc
I know it is a paid app. Not sure if a free one is available, it might.

No my friend.
I use quickpic a lot.
Whenever I move a photo from one album to another, it physically moves the photo file to the desired folder.
I can also create new albums (folders) from within the app.
