MIME USA Ghost Glass Now Available - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Still waiting to receive my Note 3, but I just checked MIME's website and they have the Ghost Glass in stock. I have the Ghost for my S4 and it has saved my screen from a ton of drops. If you don't know them, just check out some of the unboxings on Youtube for the S4. Just letting people know that MIME is now ready for the Note 3

Ready for my GN3 this week

Any comparison to Glass t.R?

My choice of tempered glass providers on my last phone were iloome and Mime. I chose iloome and have no complaints. Spigen makes good stuff too but they wrap it in terrible customer service. I want something ASAP. Had a couple questions for Mime that were answered promptly ...
Thanks for checking us out! Our glass is available and ready to ship, we have undergone some changes to our shipping facility this week which has delayed this week's orders a few days. The updates have been completed and shipping is back to normal. Our Note 3 glass is 0.32mm thick. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
Best,

Just got my Note 3, Mime Feather light protector, Otterbox commuter and Fly grip. Everything works together perfectly, the flay grip is better than expected (even given the exorbitant price tag).

Just got an email back from SGP.
They will be making the screen protectors for the AT&T version of the Galaxy Note.
The rep also said that the current cases should fit just fine but it wasn't an official confirmation.

I have the Ultra Olephobic from SGP. If you get a good application, it is pretty much invisible. The s pen works just as if you have no screen protector at all. I was skeptical of the olephobic properties, but I must say after several weeks of use it really works and is easier to clean than the stock screen.
The SGP comes with two protectors in case you bork the first one...I have used Zagg in the past but was worried about the s pen. I tried the s pen on my skyrocket and did not like the way it felt on the Zagg screen protector.
Just my .02 cents.

We now have the choice of 3 different screen protectors, ultra thin, and ultra capsule cases through SGP.
Just bought the oleophobic one with a blue case for my white note! They aren't cheap. But I've had one of their screen protectors on my Atrix since last March. Still in perfect condition and I can't even tell it's on.
Just wish they did free shipping...

They normally have their products with free shipping (with prime membership or with order of $25 or more) on amazon.com for the same price.
They don't have products for AT&T Note on amazon yet but should be soon.

Personally I like ZAGG screen protectors. I have used them in the past and if they become damaged I just send it back to ZAGG and they send me a new one. Also, I am horrible at putting screen protectors on so I pay the fee at Best Buy to put it on and if ever I need them to put another screen protector on the same phone they do it for free. However, I'm just worried how the Spen will be affected using a ZAGG screen protector, or any screen protector for that matter.

My issue with Zagg is that you can see it. And if you can see your screen protector, the quality of the screen isn't as nice as it could be.
As for S Pen sensitivity, don't worry about it. The screen is not pressure sensitive, but rather the S Pen is. The only issue with a screen protector there, is that it can cause friction, and I know for a fact that the Zagg would do that more than SGP / Moshi.
I don't know what protector to get I want one that looks like it isn't there but I want the best protection on smudges and fingerprints

Get Ultra Oleophobic. It's as clear as Ultra Crystal but has oil-resistance coating.
Ultra Crystal - super clear, nothing special
Ultra Fine - Matte surface, anti-glare, not clear
Ultra Oleophobic - Ultra Crystal + oil-resistance coating
Ultra Optics - Matte, anti-glare + oil-resistance coating. much much clearer than Ultra Fine but reviews say there's high pitch noise when you swipe finger on it (like on vinyl)

I like ZAGG as well and have one on my skyrocket. When I received my GNote I tested the s-pen on the skyrocket surface and it is not smooth for writing on at all. The tackiness of the ZAGG caused my s-pen to skip. I then bought the SGP Ultra Oleophobic and it is SWEET! Invisible, the s-pen works like the stock screen and it really does cut down on face and finger oils and is easier to clean than the naked gorilla glass.

I just got my case and WOW! I got the white case and it has nice sparkles in the back but not too girly. VERY well made and feels very stiff for TPU. I don't know if it fits the ATT Note yet because obviously.. Anywhoms, I did get a free screen protector for the N7000 and a lint free cloth.
Interesting note: It is marked 4G LTE on the back right below the camera cutout... I thought the N7000 isn't 4G capable? I did order the international version of the Note case. Very odd.
Heres the case link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006MIXD94/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details
I ordered on Feb 8th (11pm) and got it on Feb 11th (1pm). Very fast service from amazon!

Why doesn't anyone ever mention Mime?

I ordered the Ghost Glass and I see people always talking about Temperated Glass but never mention Mime..This is my first Temperate glass so I just bought what I felt looked nice from the reviews. Is Mime not a good company or is everyone just more interested in Spigen?

Spigen is just more well known. Mime is pretty popular as well.
I also just ordered one. I'm hoping that I'll be satisfied with it and that it'll fit in future cases. $28 is a pretty sizable investment in a screen protector for me

I have the MIME sitting on my desk. I chose them because of quicker shipping, warranty, and customer service.
MIME USA makes some great stuff, the only reason I didn't get theirs on the GN3 was I don't like how much of the top is exposed compared to others. I ended up getting BodyGuardz with a 20% returning customer discount on top of a 10% promo code AND it shipped today so my expectation is I will have it by Thursday in my mailbox.

Most are just tempered glass with adhesive on one side and oleophobic coating on the other. My understanding is that they put an extra layer into the rhinoshield, a plastic layer under the glass. That will absorb and dissipate impact forces.
I'm working from memory here, I think this is what their kickstand page said a few months ago. I didn't see this description today, but their current description implies it.

they also state on their site that the max hardness of there products go up to 3h..sounds outdated and over priced when the avaverage tg screen protector around the same price has all those features + a hardness avg of 7-9h...for example i am using the mime feather glass on my note 3...free shipping plus you can add an aluminum button for 1 dollar on top of that.

Thanks for the info bros. I am now considering getting one for my Note 3 but not sure which brand/company should I choose. I am looking at SPIGEN again since their support is finally catching up with complaints and they seem to be redeeming themselves. I just checked out mime and it looks great as well. Any more suggestions and if so which is/are the ones you recommend (wonder is someone has done a youtube vid comparison)

I have the Mime and love it. There are no signs of bubbles or lifting edges, and it feels great without the extra button. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it as much with the extra button. The only thing about it i don't like is the wide cutout for the speaker plus sensors.
There are cheaper models that seem to be the same as the Mime at a much lower price, but if I picked a new one today I'd probably get the Rhinoshield.

Get the Spigen Glas.tr. It's solid. I have it and am really surprised at how sturdy, clear, and responsive it is. No smudges or scratches either.
I have the mime featherlite and love it. Thin and strong. No button needed (although i put on one for fun)

i am quite surprised there haven't been threads with people experimenting with glass protectors and plastic protectors on their own. either way it's redundant but on the other hand can extend the longevity of the glass protectors if having glass isn't your number one priority.

Spigen glas.tr slim OR iLoome Screenmate 9H

I'm sure the pros and cons were mentioned somewhere on this forum but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for as there are hundreds of pages of comments. I'm undecided between Spigen glas.tr slim & iLoome screenmate 9H for the note 3 and would like some input on which would be the best bet. They both seem equivalent as far as what they offer but would like to know from those who actually have used them. I've looked at Amazon reviews and still couldn't make my mind up. I plan on using one of these with the Otterbox Commuter.
My main concern is that it be truly bubble free so no bubbles form months down the line and no adhesion issues. From Amazon reviews I've seen people mention that after a few months bubbles had formed. If anyone has used these for a few months, do you have any bubbles and what are your thoughts?
I've got the iloome and there are no bubbles. I've never used the other one but can recommend this one. It wasn't too hard to install. You kind of have one shot at it. I found a video on YouTube where the guy places the glass on top first then puts blue tape on one side. So its like a door. Then he lifts the glass up, peels the plastic and drops it straight onto the screen. That's the method I used and it worked out perfectly. Once you do that just start pushing from the middle out to get rid of all the air.

I've had my SPIGEN for about 6 months now with zero issues. I never has bubbles and nor do I have any now. It can withstand some abuse too. I dropped my phone on a gravel driveway, straight on the glass. Didn't move a hair.
Btw, using it in combination with an Otterbox commuter.
spigen user here for me it's worth it
Been using iloome glass for 7 month now. No scratch, no crack, no bubbles. Still clear and vibrant as I first got it. Totally recommend their screen protectors.
Do they extend up to the edge of the screen? Because there are some cases that overlaps a TINY portion of the screen like caseology

Maybe off topic, but their neo hybrid case is a complete crap. Outrageously expensive and poor to medium quality. Not necessarily a bad brand, just too expensive for the quality they offer. IMO spigen products are NOT worth the money.

MIME USA Feather+ Glass Screen Protector

Is anyone interested in getting a Feather+ glass screen protector from MimeUSA? I emailed them about their selection for the G3 and all they currently have is the Ghost Glass (which I believe is 0.3mm thick). I emailed them asking if they will be releasing the Feather+ and they stated that if they get enough demand for it they would definitely make them. Send them an email if you're interested!
I've always used Spigen glass products on my previous phones (iphone 4, 5, 5s) and went with the Glas.tr nano slim this time as well with my G3. But I did get a Feather+ for my 5s after the Spigen one had cracked. I was extremely happy with it. It was cheaper than the one from Spigen, and the oleophobic coating on it lasted A LOT longer as well.
I've currently got the ghost protector on my g3. I really like it. I had the ghost protector on my note 3 and liked it too. Their products are quality and they stand behind their warranty (40% off purchase of a new one no questions asked). Plus, it's American made and an American company. Living in the US I'm more inclined to buy from those companies who make their products here. I recommend them to anyone. Definitely purchase from them.

I just made a purchase of the Ghost Glass and look forward to using it. I was really hoping for the Feather+ but I'm alright with the Ghost haha. Quick question if that's alright with you. Does the screen protector have the top portion cut our like a lot of the glass screen protectors in the market, or does it only have a cut out for the speaker?
The only cut out is for the ear piece at the top. It makes it really clean looking. Most of the time I don't even know that I have it on. Covers the full front. Doesn't have any effect on pictures taken with the front cam either. Just a really good product. Just don't try to reapply it after you've set it. Make sure you get all dust and hair and finger prints off the screen and then lay it down and you'll be good. The thing applies itself to the screen and is bubble free.

I had the Ghost glass on my Note 3, it broke, and after a couple of emails back and forth, they decided to ship me a new one, for my G3, 100% free! No shipping or anything! The reason was that they forgot to reply to my email, and I had to nudge them, a couple of months after the one for the Note broke My fault for forgetting? Their fault for forgetting? Who cares, I'm SO SO SO happy with the Ghost on my G3
Would recomend MIME to ANYONE!

Funny thing... I had my first one for my G3 break after I stupidly tried to remove a hair from under it. I ended up cracking a small piece and it wouldn't lay down without a bubble under it. I sent them a picture of it and asked just for a 40% off code to buy another one. They ended up sending me a code for a free replacement with free shipping. I also had replaced one on my Note 3 and they quickly sent me a 40% off replacement code. I've had nothing but great customer service from them.

But are they more expensive than companies with comparable product quality like spigen for example? Not even close. They are way more competitive with pricing and their service is second to none. For quality and service three is really only one choice.

We are in the process of gauging demand for the G3 Feather. If we receive enough requests for this glass, we will definitely make it happen!
So if you are interested then let them know!

Don't get a Spigen screen protector. This is my 4th one with issues. It cracked for no reason I didn't drop it. I purchased the regular MIME one and it's easily 100x better. I emailed them about the feather hopefully enough people will so they can produce it.

Yeah the edge of the feather glass for my M8 cracked after I dropped something on it. It probably would have survived if it was curved like the Feather+. Good thing about MIME's support is the half off code they give for a replacement.

Ya they only seem to have the Feather+ for iPhone... Tell you the truth though if you use a case on your LG g3... Might as well go with the ghost glass since it will sit below the lip of the case anyway.

Would somebody mind putting a pic of the mime? I'm leaning towards that one over spigen. I currently have skinomi which is great but it leaves to much space on the edges. Its meant for cases. But I love the coating on it. So smooth. Is mime like that?
