Hi,
do you have the recovery for this ROM too? Actually I am planning to sell of my HOX+ and one more thing - if I flash this and then install recovery and relock the bootloader, it will get official updates - right?

Hi, My dad's got the One X+, and i dont know what he's done, but its got no radio whatsoever, and its my job to pick up the pieces. He's got the indian version, so im figuring the nandroid you've made will work. Does the nandroid include Radio, baseband etc? If not, can you point me the direction of an RUU, as most of the ones ive found have broken links, and download stops halfway.

There are guides in the development section that show you how to do it. It all depends on if your phone is cdma or gsm, and what hboot you have.
Also, flashing this ROM: RUU_Shooter_U_HTC_ARA_1.24.415.6_Radio_10.59.9020. 00_10.15.9020.06_M_release_22091 7_signed.exe

If you flash that, that's an ruu and will unroot you. Also, you do not need root to flash an ruu.

I have read somewhere procedure to flash rom to phone:
Enter vol down + power and enter recovery
Mount storage and coipy rom to root of phone
Wipe data and then
Install zip file from sdcard
Is this procedure correct and enough and/or do i need some more steps?
YOur answer will really help me...thanks
Almost correct. You need to wipe data, cache, and dalvik. And also make a nandroid backup before wiping.
And FYI, you still need root to flash a rom.

You don't need root to flash a rom, you need a recovery to flash a rom. Flashing
A custom rom gives you root. Or you can root your stock rom.

You dont need root to flash any ROM, root is just having superuser.apk and binary in your ROM.
Your NAND protection needs to be unlocked via HTC method or revolutionary.io to install a ROM.

For a ROM with Arabic support, search in the GSM developmet section of 3D.
It should be zip file instead of exe .
It does not matter whether you are rooted or not to install a ROM.
Just make sure your bootloader is unlocked via revolutionary.io , or HTCdev.com (if revolutionary is unsupported)
Also you should have a custom recovery.
So, you mean to say i need bootloader unlocked to flash ruu shipped roms right? BTW how do i know if my bootloader is unlocked or not?
BTW downloaded program from revolutioary.io, how do i use this program to unlock bootloader?
Thanks

Nah, for RUU.exe you need a locked bootloader and for flashing the ROMs made by XDA devs , you need unlocked bootloader.
If you are going to use RUU exe dont unlock bootloader and dont use revolutionary and dont install custom Recovery..
Use them only if you want to flash ROMs made by XDA devs.
But be sure that the RUU you are using is made for your phone, or you will end up with a bricked phone.

Yes , you cant just use any RUU of any region I guess, you should use only the RUU made for phones of your region.
The RUU should contain the hboot same as yours or a new version.
It should not contain hboot of lower version than your current one..

Run the RUU exe without connecting your phone to PC.
When the 1st screen of RUU appears, minimise it > open my computer > then in your windows drive > search " rom.zip" .
There should be only one rom.zip > copy it to your desktop or anywhere > close the RUU program > open the rom.zip with winRAR or any software > you will see a list of " .img, .txt, .nb0 " files. One of the ".nb0" file says "hboot_*.*_signedbyaa.nb0"
In my case it is "hboot_1.50.0000_signedbyaa.nb0"
The number infront of the hboot is its version . In my case it is hboot 1.50.0000.

[tutorial] How to get back on stock with Stock Nandroid Backups [ICS]

As we know now that hTC is rolling out the JB OTA update starting with Software Version x.xx.401.x
(See : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2209143 for more info and update).
And as the only RUU that we have for ICS is for x.xx.401.x and none for other region, I make this thread to collect all possible Nandroid Backup for other region/CID so most of us who do not make or have a nandroid backup can at least try the Nandroid Backups by other users to revert to stock. so if someone of you have a nandroid backup of his stock rom I would ask him to post it in this thread with his CID indicated and also the build version code, then I'll add these ones in the OP. Thank you in advance!
To update the JB OTA, a DX must run a full stock ROM.. without a FULL stock ROM update will fails.
Let me start with my Nandroid backup for CID : HTC__044 Software Version No. 1.18.707.3
How to check your CID
1. Download CID Getter from Play Store, run the app it will show your CID.
2. If you are familiar with fastboot mode command, run fastboot getvar cid
DOWNLOADS:
CID : HTC__044
1.18.707.3_CWM_nand.zip
1.18.707.3_TWRP_nand.zip
CID HTC_038
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40541546&postcount=102 - Thanks to krishna.kowshik
Corrected download link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40559947&postcount=106
Also you need to flash this file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42221594&postcount=1048 for some missing files to get back to real Stock (But you need to remove Superuser manually)
CID: O2__102
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41702952&postcount=143 - Thanks to 0zura
CID T-MOB101
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41587225&postcount=140 - Thanks to liontarion
CID VODAP102 (should work for VODAP001,VODAP102,VODAP304)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41327224 - a separate thread by Jann F
CID VODAP120
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nz83hgoehaakh8y/nandroid_dx_ics_vodap120_twrp.zip - posted by elmdh
Note : The idea and some wordings/method is taken from matt95 thread for One X .. Thanks matt95
Stock Odexed ROM
As some request for a stock odexed 1.18.401.1, here I give you two versions of 1.18.401.1
Click on the file name to download and flash in recovery either CWM or TWRP
All ROMs come with NO root and NO busybox, it's purely stock.
1. 1.18.401.1.zip - with standard language that comes with the ROM.
2. 1.18.401.1.ML.zip - with all possible Multi-Language
Now that I have downloaded the .zip what should I do? and how should I restore the backup?
If the nandroid backup is done with CWM
1. You have the CWM recoveryalready installed. If not, you can install one with any CWM that is available for DX or use one that I attached on post #1 - CWM_recovery.img_Installer.zip (Credit to Claudyy for the recovery)
2. Extract the CWM Nandroid Backup to your desktop and find the folder in clockworkmod/backup/ (for my backup, it is 2013-03-28.03.26.36)
3. Copy this folder to your sdcard at the same location clockworkmod/backup/ so it will look something like this: clockworkmod/backup/2013-03-28.03.26.36
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Go to backup and restore and select restore
6. Select the right folder to restore. For this example is select 2013-03-28.03.26.36
7. Select Restore... sit back and relax let it finish its job. Once complete reboot.
8. Reboot to bootloader
9. Install the Stock Recovery - you can use STOCK_recovery.img_Installer.zip attached at post #1.
10. Reboot and you are ready to wait/check for JB OTA
If the nandroid backup is done with TWRP
1. You have the TWRP recovery already installed. If not, you can install one with any TWRP that is available for DX or use one that I attached on post #1 - TWRP_recovery.img_Installer.zip (Credit to neXus PRIME for the recovery)
2. Extract the TWRP Nandroid Backup to your desktop and find the folder in TWRP/BACKUPS/SERIALNO/ (for my backup, it is 2013-03-28--11-51-07)
3. Copy this folder to your sdcard at the same location TWRP/BACKUPS/SERIALNO/ so it will look something like this: TWRP/BACKUPS/SERIALNO/2013-03-28--11-51-07
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Go to Restore and select the right folder to restore. For this example is select 2013-03-28--11-51-07
6. Swipe to Restore... sit back and relax let it finish its job. Once complete reboot.
7. Reboot to bootloader
8. Install the Stock Recovery - you can use STOCK_recovery.img_Installer.zip attached at post #1.
9. Reboot and you are ready to wait/check for JB OTA

Like expected, you cannot revert to stock using RUU. You have to use an ICS backup form users, and in your case krishna.kowshik has it and published it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40541546&postcount=102
Thank him!

Reverting back to my previous stock ROM and applied jelly bean update
I downloaded Nandroid Backup from the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2210619.
Here I installed TWRP in my mobile in order to get my stock ROM back (boot loader again unlocked here).
in sd card TWRP folder I copied these files. in sd card root folder I copied MissingGoogleApps.zip and STOCK_recovery.img_Installer.zip.
in TWRP recovery mode I restored Nandriod backup files and flashed MissingGoogleApps.zip successfully. But when I tried to flash STOCK_recovery.img_Installer.zip its failed. i extract recovery.img file from this zip. Then in fastboot mode I flashed this recovery.img file.
Then again I relocked the phone and rebooted. Now phone is started with my stock ROM.
Getting official JB update
here I followed below procedure.
1. Unlock Bootloader.
2. Flash Stock Recovery : Tutorial - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...26&postcount=2
Use the stock recovery.img attached here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...20&postcount=1
3. Recheck for Software Update and Download the update.
again i relocked the phone and applied the update.
Now everything ok.

Nobody ever say that STOCK_recovery.img_Installer.zip is to be flash in recovery.. that is an installer for user who is not familiar with ADB command... it is to be extracted on PC then run the installer batch file after your DX is connected to PC in fastboot mode

Please tell where to find the RUU specific to my device!

[RUU] 3.17.502.3 decrypted

HTC One AT&T RUU 3.17.502.3 - Decrypted RUU zip:
RUU_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE50_MR_Cingular_US_3.17.502.3-decrypted.zip

This is the 'rom.zip' that is normally packaged in the RUU.exe. It can be flashed with s-off only, since it's unsigned. Mainly for those that want system image, radio, firmware, etc. for ???
CID: CWS__001
To flash (s-off only):
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip [I]rom.zip[/I]
Replace rom.zip with the actual zip file name.

Thank you for sharing. Is the full RUU.exe file available to download as well? If so, are you able to share the location or does the general public have to wait?

It's taking for ever to download the decrypted zip. Is it anyway you can remove the largest file and allow me to download so I can make a firmware package. Don't really need the system img.

It was taking me forever to try and get the ruu I have decrypted between my mac and pc, lol. I noticed to that ATT has a different listed radio compared to the RUU downloaded from HTC.

Alright this is what I've done, I've flashed old touch drivers and then used the 1.26.502.15 rom to flash in recovery. My phone is downloading the 4.3 ota now. How can I copy the ota from my phone?
Edit: Done!
This is the easiest way to return to stock correct?

You have one or two options. You can go to my thread and flash the firmware package and then the new radio, then flash a stock 4.3 rom in the ATT thread. Or you can go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2474782 download the 1.26.502.15 rom and flash, take the ota, reboot and flash your custom recovery and if it's twrp allow it to root and done. Also if you could do fastboot getvar all in boot loader so we could know what firmware, etc. your on would be helpful.
I'm on mobile atm and won't be near a computer for a while, can someone tell me what radio version is included? Is it the 4T radio from the prior AT&T leak?

The RUU contains radio: 4A.19.3263.13_10.38j.1157.04
The OTA contains radio: 4T.20.3218.13_10.12.1718.01L
I was able to flash the ruu.zip file and return to stock without issues. Currently rooted and using CID CWS__01 -- All after I flashed the ruu, and entered the bootloader, it reported my CID as 1111111 (this was before I changed it).
I've done a ton with firmware zips but haven't flashed an RUU yet. Will an RUU zip clear storage as well? Kind of want to play around with the stock experience for a couple days before ViperOne 4.3 makes an appearance.

Thanks, I'll be sure to make backups before I begin. I'm s-off with supercid and currently running a custom 3.22 firmware by sneakyghost. Anything I need to be aware of aside from the storage wipe before I leap?

No that's about it. I was actually on the 3.22 firmware and was able to revert to stock older rom and take the ota.

Stock KitKat 4.4 T6UL International backup

This is for all the people messaging me for my backups for the international version T6UL
My dropbop has been maxed out, so i've created a torrent to share my kitkat backup.
You need TWRP 2.7.0.0 to restore
Totally Stock never been rooted. took this backup as soon as i got the ota.
Backup you current device rom (this is what everyone should have done themselves before messing with new roms)
download torrent, https://www.dropbox.com/s/a5sjuu5ozidngzn/kitkat_stock_clean_TWRP.rar.torrent
unrar the comtents to your external sdcard.
before you restore from my backup, wipe your system! that will remove all root so backup restores clean. ota will then work with stock recovery.
Reboot and you should now be totally stock
i tried this before with my backup but it keep freezing in htc boot screen for hour

so no i'm sorry. unless you update hboot
HOW WILL YOU UPDATE HBOOT 2.47 to 2.49
I have t6ul htc one max CID J15
Reboot the phone into the bootloader by either:
Powering off your phone completely, then hold Volume-Down and Power until the phone boots into the bootloader
If you have the android sdk set up, type 'adb reboot-bootloader'
Connect your phone to the computer (if it isn't already) and issue the fastboot command
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
To flash the zip, issue the fastboot command
Code:
fastboot flash zip <YourZipName>.zip
The device's progress bar may not be complete, but when the fastboot command says it's complete, issue the fastboot command
Code:
fastboot reboot
