The first question would be, why would you want to. The TW features (s voice, gnow, multiwindow, blah blah) are written for the hard keys.
But if you really want to try this. It was written for the S3, But may still serve your purpose.

I can neither confirm, nor deny that it works on the i605. But, 90% of the fun of rooting is trying out new and spectacular things. (PS make a back up before entering into any mods)

I know why I'd like to have the AOSP Navbar in TW on my note 2. Because i love to use my stylus, but its a pita to have to use my fingers to go back, home etc. with the Navbar I can strait use the stylus without the hassle of using the hard keys with my fingers or holding the little mini button on the stylus to draw an arbitrary design i create to do what the navbar can do natively.
But alas i've come to find somethings in aosp just dont work right in TW. and i tried the navbar on the note 2 awhile back but I just wasnt impressed. got some FC's here and there etc.
good luck and post up your results. would love to hear if it works for you.
cheers

Thanks Works on Note 3 9005 Android 4.2.2

[FLASHABLE ZIPS] Disabling/enabling capacitive keys in ICS roms

Disabled: The hardware capacitive buttons on the bottom do not respond at all.
Enabled: They work like normal.
This has been tested with AOKP, but it should also work with CM9.
Please note that this does not change the Navigation bar in any shape or form... it only disables/enables the capacitive buttons.
Flashing Instructions:
BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS, make sure that your nav bar is activated and usable.
1. Download the file that you need and put it somewhere on your phone
2. Flash via CWM (no need to wipe any caches)
3. Reboot
Same instructions for both zips.
See second post for downloads.
Enable capacitive keys
Disable capacitive keys
So, disabled = ics on-screen controls only and enabled = hardware buttons?
(do the on-screen buttons show when hardware buttons are enabled?)
Are you planning flash instructions? I guess you're expecting plenty of failed installs either way?

thank you for pointing that out.
once i get on my laptop ill update my post.

EDIT: and you have to enable/disable the nav bar manually... this only changes the actual hardware buttons.

Two questions:
1. Does disabled mean on-screen controls only, and enabled means hardware buttons?
2. Do the on-screen buttons show when hardware buttons are enabled?

1. Yes. Exactly what you said.
2. Yes, but you can always disable them from settings. These zips do not change the state of the onscreen buttons; they just change the state of the hardware buttons.
also I clicked thanks by accident. lol.
Wait, was this supposed to go into general?
Idk? Mods please move it if it's not in the right place.

[Mod] Working AutoCorrect and Quicker Long-Press Samsung Keyboard (4.1.1)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2093588
Someone asked for this in QA forum and I ported the changes for them.
It is flashable, but like anything its at your own risk. I have only tested it on Verizon roms.
Edit:
If this doesn't work for odexed folks, let me know.
I've also added a stock zip to return to unmodified state.
There is an apk for 4.1.2 users (ATT, International, CleanRom) as well, but it isn't flashable and I don't have the lib needed to make it flashable. So copy it over and fix permissions. Do NOT throw it into the flashable zip unless you have the right lib as well.
First
Thanks adrynalyne. Giving it a flash now. This will solve all of my keyboard needs, no more AOSP keyboard!

No, I don't mind at all (not really my mod, I just ported it). I am going to work on a 4.1.2 version for cleanrom and international roms if I get a chance.
I used alot of your tutorials for modding my bolt back in the day....the one thing i am REALLY missing on this phone, you had a way to add the radio settings (4g on, off 3g only etc...) into the main settings. Can u make a mod like that for this phone??
I hate that there isnt that option....or is there and im just a dumbass??
none of the 3rd party apps for that work on verizon?!?
Will this work on rooted stock if I push the files manually and rename the IME odex file?

I don't see how. Its fairly straightforward.
Here is a 4.1.2 version (International, ATT, cleanrom, etc).
It may implode.
Try it though and logcat it if it blows up. No logcat means its unlikely I can or will fix it...I am just too stubborn and old to flash every rom myself.
The auto correct works in on beans build 6. Awesome I will definitely be using the Samsung keyboard!

Anyone else miss the eraser in s-note on Jelly Bean?

I use my note like a notepad a lot. I have styli from my Toshiba, Wacom and Samsung that have an eraser on the back like a pencil. It worked with s-memo, s-note, papyrus and a few other note apps in hc, ics but stopped working when I went to jb.

Eraser as in the 3rd button at the eraser end of the Samsung after-market stylus?
Also does this mean we can import eraser into Padawan next version or its a hard choice, eraser or a wonderful firmware with a great group of people in this forum.
Sigh...

I used to own a tablet with a wacom digitizer that was recently stolen in a break-in.
"Fortunately" they left me the few stylii I had purchased for use with it, 2 of which have erasers.
Has any work been done on this by a dev, is it narrowed down to a ROM/framework/app or Kernel/driver issue yet?
If not, I can add that to my queue of to-do as I no longer have any use for the stylus outside of my G Note

HTC Media Link + Google Play Edition

I already posted this in the HTC One general, but I figured it was good info here too
So it seems that the Google Play Edition HTC One has moved away from sense framework completely and I should give up hopes of my Media Link HD ever working with my device again.
Anyone else out there with a media link that is now unusable due to not being on a sense rom?
I'm not too upset because #chromecast
I'll probably just sell it on ebay for $50
i guess this means that sense camera they got working on the GPE rom is worthless now too?

Yes it is. 4.3 is almost AOSP like which is great. Always wanted a stock experience that is not buggy and the GPE roms give that experience for me. With the IR working now, I'm all set.

As long as it's still on your wifi network, it should still work with Bubble uPNP and similar apps. So it's not *completely* useless. Although I'm still on AT&T stock (but unlocked and S-Off), I went ahead and bought a Chromecast too and expect my MediaLink HD will get little use.

Great!
This could be the difference, to have a useful device.
My wishlist for a custom ROM below. Not requesting them, I will look into this myself when my device eventually arrives. (I can make some mods in a ROM I use, not make modded ROM.)
* Add (at least) Home to Power menu
* Remap "two button push" to Home
* Remap Home to back (option if possible)
* Kill Menu/Back swipes (option)
* Enable status bar for launcher (not requiring a separate app)
Awesome thank you for the hard work! I have a question though, I'm holding on to get the AW-420 1gb/8gb model instead - can I use this ROM with that version as well?
Thanks!
Only if it has the same chipset, as far as I know.

One very key question (others may follow).
If you have not run the MOD yet, go to Settings/About and at the very bottom what is listed as the Build Info?
