My Phone is Samsung Galaxy Star Duos GT-S5282
and i have bought it about 3 months ago and i wanted to ROOT it so..
i Downloaded the PRE_ROOTED_FIRMWARE.ZIP and FLASHED it with Odin :good::good:
and i wanted to UNROOT my Phone so i searched for Samsung Official Firmware to flash and i found :
( S5282XXAME5_S5282OJVAMD4_S5282XXAMD8_HOME.tar.md5 ) it asked for a SIM NETWORK UNLOCK PIN :crying::crying:
( S5282XXAME6_S5282OLBAMD5_S5282DXAMD2_HOME.tar.md5 ) it also asked for a SIM NETWORK UNLOCK PIN :crying::crying:
and both support ARABIC
( S5282XXAMG1_S5282ODDAMG1_S5282DDAMG1_HOME.tar.md5 ) it works fine but its too slow and it doesn't support ARABIC which is my main language
so i had to search for my ORIGINAL firmware ( S5282XXAME3 )
and i can't find it
SO if u can EDIT the Firmware to make it not ask for SIM NETWORK UNLOCK PIN
OR if u can find my ORIGINAL firm ware ( S5282XXAME3 )
OR tell me how to unlock those Firmwares ( S5282XXAME5 ) / ( S5282XXAME6 )
OR tell me how to extract the Firmware Files ( MD5 or TAR ) from a Samsung Galaxy Star Duos GT-S5282 which have the rom i want

I have the same problem i flash a wrong firmware and i lost sim access and now it's locked... please can you give me a link for this firmware: S5282XXAMG1_S5282ODDAMG1_S5282DDAMG1_HOME.tar.md5

Well this is not happend with me...i have flashed almost 4-5 other country's firmware but no issue...with my cell...
try to flash your country's firmware

Dude for unrooting you can try super user app...thr is an option to fully unroot ur device....

I'm not sure if I'm putting my thread in the right forum, but I could not find anything more appropriate here.
I've just obtained my Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 LTE (SM-G357FZ), but it is network branded (by "Plus", polish operator) and I'd like to flash it with the oryginal, unmodofied stock Samsung Android, but I cannot find any firmware on the web for that model. The current version is 4.4.4 - G357FZXXU1ANH7.
I've checked sammobile.com and have found only one Galaxy Ace 4 LTE model which the sotware for is valid for Poland, but it is not for SM-G357FZ, but for SM-G313HN and the firmware version is 4.4.2. So can I flash the phone with that firmware using Odin? I'm not sure, because it seems like it is not the right firmware.

I hope it's not branded, clear stock ROM...

Juhu it is working. Stock ROM is on my Ace 4 .
I have a problem with my ace. Every time I call someone it gives me a slot. Then double tap to unlock. Can't find the settings to change it. Please help. It's so annoying

You can't. Our ace 4 don't have proxy sensor. (wtf wrong with you samsung? they forgot it or what?) So you better get used to it.

Hi,
I am new to Samsung galaxy phones . I have used nexus series ,moto series but currently stuck with a galaxy s3 ( my sisters old phone ) .
Now it is a hong kong model .
AP : I9300ZSALED
CP : I9300XXLEF
CSC: I9300OZSALED
OS version : 4.0.4 (rooted)
Recovery : TWRP
Problem 1 :
Now if I flash any custom rom (Eg: cyanpop ) the rom boots up fine except it shows " insert sim card , sim card not found " even though there is a sim card present .
Problem 2 :
I downloaded the 4.3 version of the hong kong firmware
Product code : TGY
PDA : I9300ZSUBNB1
CSC : I9300OZSBNB1
from sammobile , file size around 1gb . Now , if I use odin to flash that firmware it gets stuck in " Nand write Start " .
Since i made a backup of the current rom via twrp , I flash the twrp via odin and then restore this current rom . Thus I am stuck in this current rom unable to upgrade .
Problem 3 :
I can try to upgrade via ota but I dont have a copy of the stock recovery . I have stired various links which are present here in xda but most of them are very old links and are broken . It will be really helpful if anyone can provide me a stock recovery copy .

I have installed Kies but havent downloaded the firmware upgrade that is available for download but I think its the same file ...

hey guys , i just bought a s6 edge used , G925F , with matched imei box , it had lollipop firmware on it , 5.1 , and it worked perfectly with all networks in my country (pakistan) , now that i upgraded it to marshmallow with BTU firmware (G925FXXU3DPBG/BTU ) , it has stopped registering on any network , it can detect all networks , IMEI is intact and not changed a bit , but is constantly on emergency calls only , i tried reflashing ,resetting , and setting it on only 2G mode , but nothing worked , any idea how to make it work ?
Note : My country is pakistan and the firmware i flashed along with csc and cp and Ap is of BTU region , does that make a difference ?

Use samsung Smart Swtich Mate! To restore It To Factory Default give it a try ur device may get fixed Best Of luck
@osman34 why use smart switch ? it is used for transferring data right ? how can it help in mobile network issue ?

u didnt know about smart swtich there is feature that downloads frimware from samsung and restores it
like itunes
it fixes most of issues with phones
Look up on google about restore with smart switch
@osman34 keeping in mind , that all networks are detected fine , but registration is an issue , it is a firmware defect ? oh and did i mention ? my nano sim isnt even detectable on any old Samsung or even Nokia device , Edge detects it but doesnt register -__-

You sure you used the right firmware? Didn't put 925f firmware on a 925i or something?

If you flash this indonesia stock firmware it will have csc XID

because i dont get volte support , and galaxy apps vietnam language
i tried flash indonesia stock firmware 10 times ++ and diferrent stock firmware still cant change , i tried use phone info and use this app for csc change but cant , evertime i flash need drk file ~_~ pls help

Volte support is dependant on network providor not firmware. Changing csc wont make volte work. Is volte supported in Indonesia? On which mobile network? Most G925F firmwares are multi csc.
You can flash this G925F custom rom from here, CarHD rom.

Have you tried changing the general language of the phone? If you flash indonesia firmware it should change. Which indonesia firmware did you flash? There is XSE & XID?
