I am using c4 ROM ported by keanu_ritz..... Camera is working fine but it gives out blur images towards one side of the screen due to auto focus, can any one please help..

Ever since I bought this cell I'm facing some serious blurring issues and focusing problems in camera.
Camera used to stay blurred fr an hour.
Using custom roms the problems doesn't arise, but on stock roms!
Is anybody too facing this problem?
How to solve?

Try taking pictures with the other camera apps or try the Cybershot Mod which you'll find in 'Themes and Apps' section.. If the problem still persists then it has to something with the lens!
It can focus but it loses focus after a while

I've searched to no avail... i've tried what some people claimed to hav worked for them(removing sd card and rebooting phone until front camera options shows up) but it only provided a temporary solution... the moment i turn off my phone it goes away again and it is not easy to get it to come back... can anybody help me with a permanent fix to this issue???
i'm using xperia neo v... ICS build 4.1.B.0.587 stock rom by sony... previously GB 2.3.4...

Return back to GB is a good point ! GB is smoother for Gaming and Multitasking unlike laggy ICS ! Or you can use any custom rom !
I'd recommend JS and Revo ICS

Go to your camera app--> tap the scene recognition icon--> select front camera. That should work. I'm using Neo V and I can operate front camera in this way.

i considered that but i have read from other people suffering the same problem as me that though they flashed GB back into their phones the problem never went away... as for custom rom, i do not want to root my phone or unlock the bootloader...

yes i know that... but after the upgrade to ICS the "front camera" option no longer exist... i see only 4 options instead of 5

tried third party apps... still not working... will goin back to GB solve the problem??? i hav read from other post or sites of some ppl goin back to GB but the problem stayed wif them... some hav even tried factory reset but continued facing the same problems... could it be that the problem is more hardware related than software??? mayb flashing my phone fried some part of it's hardware???
Same here. Frontcam gone after using ics for a while. And we are not alone after a quick search on google.
Nothing much to do i think, not for me anyway as i have unlocked BL and rooted, and flashed.
Do not think my 2 year guarantee from the seller works anymore

PROBLEM WITH OTHER CAMERA apk
My problem is that , my stock camera apk(ICS) is working properly but it takes long time to take that snap.
I tried to install other camera applications but i found that every application displays "INVERTED SCREEN" (When the Camera id ON).
After clicking on the button (to take the snap) it automatically reverts back and shows Correctly in the Gallery..

All roms. Tried stock, miui, lewa, note3,6 SLD. my friend also have it and have same issue. He bought 1 year earlier and i bought in Feb 2014.

Same problem here, but there's an alternative.
I am facing the same problem with the european version of the mmx A116. ( Wiko cink five ).
I tried on Stock, JellyXperia, Miui & SLD, but still.
The only way for you to get the zoom "removed" is to download the camera app named "Camera MX"
It seems like it's not a hardware problem, rather a software one.
I have no idea what Camera mx has that the others do not, but it gets the job done.
And don't forget to change recording resolution, it is set by default to 640 x 480.
Based on a french user in another forum, the problem is that the resolution while filming is lower than the screen's actual one, and the phone, for "fixing" that, zooms in. This does not affect Photo, since the resolution is the same as the phone.
I repeat : This is merely hypothesis.
I want to download stock rom v5 but this link says public file busy. Any other link?

I dont think it is a problem of resolution because if it is so, at least the video should display unzoomed in PC.

I am using XDA for a long time..but never tried posting to it..now i am using it more seriously for my canvas hd..and i came to know that i have to post min 10 inorder to post in a devs thread. so i cant ask doubts about it in there..
i flashed the discovery v0.4 on my canvas hd before.. but was facing some issues on the network and camera..
even now the camera and network issues are there for some users. Now an Andriod L version 0.6 has released with all major bug fix and i wanna confirm whether it is all fixed. some users are still reporting camera issues

if u r on a116 not on a116i .. before installing if u have formatted data, cache,system and dalvik cache properly then everything should work. apart from very minor bugs everthing works absolutely fine....

as well as discovery, android L is excelent..... i tried both, and as in dicovery the only bug i face are the battery drain issue.... all works fine but if i restart the device the batery charge percentage goes down dramatically, something like 80 or 70% to 30, 20 or lower just after a reboot.....
strange that.........
the other problem is with the camera in low light or at night, photos are all black. it seems that flash light is not enough
however they are the kikat roms more stable at the moment.......... i continue using them, but i changed to android L at the moment...

I tried that before..but i was facing serious issues with the network and camera..i have been watching the thread and the network issues can be resolved using modem.img..but still camera is not ok..even in the latest version 0.7..camera focusing creates a sound and resolution was low..hoping the devs would rectify it soon..

Im using canvas Hd A116. but the rom i have flashed now is based on stock and it displays model as a116i. What's the deference between a 116 and a116i.?
