I am using XDA for a long time..but never tried posting to it..now i am using it more seriously for my canvas hd..and i came to know that i have to post min 10 inorder to post in a devs thread. so i cant ask doubts about it in there..
i flashed the discovery v0.4 on my canvas hd before.. but was facing some issues on the network and camera..
even now the camera and network issues are there for some users. Now an Andriod L version 0.6 has released with all major bug fix and i wanna confirm whether it is all fixed. some users are still reporting camera issues

if u r on a116 not on a116i .. before installing if u have formatted data, cache,system and dalvik cache properly then everything should work. apart from very minor bugs everthing works absolutely fine....

as well as discovery, android L is excelent..... i tried both, and as in dicovery the only bug i face are the battery drain issue.... all works fine but if i restart the device the batery charge percentage goes down dramatically, something like 80 or 70% to 30, 20 or lower just after a reboot.....
strange that.........
the other problem is with the camera in low light or at night, photos are all black. it seems that flash light is not enough
however they are the kikat roms more stable at the moment.......... i continue using them, but i changed to android L at the moment...

I tried that before..but i was facing serious issues with the network and camera..i have been watching the thread and the network issues can be resolved using modem.img..but still camera is not ok..even in the latest version 0.7..camera focusing creates a sound and resolution was low..hoping the devs would rectify it soon..

Im using canvas Hd A116. but the rom i have flashed now is based on stock and it displays model as a116i. What's the deference between a 116 and a116i.?

I am also facing the same problem since last 6 months.
Have you got any solution for the same???
if yes then please reply... bcoz there are many users who are going through this problem.
In canvas turbo rom and in other roms the gesture control wont working some times coz the sensor red light is blinking low instead of a steady phase and wont at ol on until do some actions.
Try to flash with original ROM ....

I have done that and in stock all works fine but in turbo rom proximity sensor lyt is less in gesture based accepting calls anyway thanks for the assist bro
Micromax has released new software update for the A116 canvas HD.
Although this is not the 4.3, but it is still expected to bring some bug fixes and improve the phone's performance.
One thing I noticed is that it changed the model no. to A116i. see the screenshot.

hi, when I try to take pictures, pictures are okay. but when i switch to video mode, video gets zoomed automatically. and video come out unclear. please suggest some idea.

All roms. Tried stock, miui, lewa, note3,6 SLD. my friend also have it and have same issue. He bought 1 year earlier and i bought in Feb 2014.

Same problem here, but there's an alternative.
I am facing the same problem with the european version of the mmx A116. ( Wiko cink five ).
I tried on Stock, JellyXperia, Miui & SLD, but still.
The only way for you to get the zoom "removed" is to download the camera app named "Camera MX"
It seems like it's not a hardware problem, rather a software one.
I have no idea what Camera mx has that the others do not, but it gets the job done.
And don't forget to change recording resolution, it is set by default to 640 x 480.
Based on a french user in another forum, the problem is that the resolution while filming is lower than the screen's actual one, and the phone, for "fixing" that, zooms in. This does not affect Photo, since the resolution is the same as the phone.
I repeat : This is merely hypothesis.

I dont think it is a problem of resolution because if it is so, at least the video should display unzoomed in PC.

The rom is smooth but only one issue with the rom is that it takes crappy pictures in low-light conditions. The flash is also poor compared to stock rom. If anyone has any solution please do share with us all who are facing this problem.

Using another app will work?
No all camera apps have same problem. I switch to stock rom and it is working fine but in this rom it's a issue. Any solution?
Just flash this Rom today.
Find that charging is very slow but almost not charging.
phone is on charging for last 2 hours and it only charge from 35 to 37 and it is not going above from this.
camera, I think no problem for me. it just seems fine.
U also having charging problem with this rom?

Something wrong with your handset or battery. As such there is no problem with charging or camera.
No charging problems for me. But camera is working fine until I try to take pictures in a low-light area. It doesn't take clear pictures like it should and used to with the stock rom.

I m no having battry issu camera issu didn't cheaked bt small problem is that network instability especially when I m using 2 sim ..vodafon sim is detect bt showing no network... so reverted on mere rom...

Hey I installed the android l ROM in the discovery ROM thread ... Everything works except viper4android ... Says driver cannot be installed as busybox isn't installed or root is not complete ... Any suggestions how I can install it ..?

viper will work. all u have to do is restore previous back up using titanium backup. i am using this way

Data partition issues
I'm using the android L rom.

I fixed it, to those who face the issue like me, don't try to install SuperSU and it's binary, they're somewhat incompatible with android L as of yet. I restored the default Superuser app and everything works fine now

Bro... Camera is perfect !! There are no problems with the camera...2G problem is because of the modem.img or baseband you are using... Try flashing P19 baseband or use modem.img from CM 11 !!
