About to buy HTC ONE MAX - HTC One Max

Hi
just wanted to know if its a good idea to buy a branded htc one max. because at the moment its only available brended in my country.
im asking because i want to unbrand it when i got it....
since it has the sam soc as the one .... should be easy to s-off right ? or not ?
or should i wait till the unbranded are available here ?

not yet available at the moment
only preorders

Okay well let's say you buy it branded and you do find some way to S-OFF it, you could debrand it in a heartbeat. I guess your best bet would be to send a mail/PM to the rumrunner team and see if it would be possible to S-OFF a One Max?

Low Voicevolume

Hey guys,
I got an issue with every CM/AOSP/AOKP ROM. everytime im doing a call with headset my voice seems to be much lower than on Stock. Thats why i'm still on stock rom. anyone got a solution for this? Or any more ideas? Yes, i've used the search. But havnt found anything useful yet.
Thanks in advance

could've at least found the right section
For me it is not really something for develop.
I've asked in a few rom-threads. No one could help me yet. So for me general is the more fitting spot for this.
And if you want to get your postcounter up, post useful things and not this stuff.
And if a mod thinks this is no general thing, he can still move it.
No need to post that useless stuff.
Thank you

You could have at least not broken rule 2.3.

Information Sharing

Any chance people could actually share the technical details of creating custom boot.img. I'm sure people like having a quick "one-click" solution for recovery/ custom kernels, etc... But a good deal of us would like to know how to roll our own.
Can someone provide a brief rundown on how to create a working boot.img?

I think @Bin4ry is already working on some cool things for us. like this morning he mentioned that he would be creating a custom recovery for us. and i hope a easy root method too! but he is fantastic when it comes to answering your question

Looking forward to!
But that's my point, just releasing binaries isn't helpful for educating the wider community. I guess I'll just have to look into it myself.

The reason why I and bin4ry etc haven'tshared the info to everyone is because the more experienced devs will now how to compile it with the little info we posted.
Also the dt.img is kernel dependant etc, so we don't want just everyone to make faulty kernels or do something wrong.

More development?

Do you think we'll see some more ROM development? At the moment there only seems to be 1 or 2 ROM's available.
Do you think it will pick up? Or have I picked the wrong phone

best news since i bought this smartwatch! App-Store without an android phone! Nice for using this watch with an iphone!
OTA's begin rolling out in 15th of Feb for all devices, let's see if ours is one of the first ones. So far I'm loving the overall experience, i hope it gets better.

Wait what? You can't find a roll out date anywhere? Please read, it's so easy.
Check the two posts above from @smoki3 (providing date) and @Criminal23 (providing source). What else do you need?

Sorry, so March 15th? I thought that there were translation issues and that was the version number Fossil was giving the build or something. :silly:
Rut Ro! At least one site now saying that only the 2nd Gen Q Founder gets the update, not the first gen..........if that's true, I'm pissed, I bought the 1st gen BECAUSE it was going to get Android Wear 2.0 over my original Moto 360.............
http://www.androidcentral.com/these-are-smartwatches-will-get-android-wear-20
1gen also will get the update [emoji6]
Send via Twitter from Fossil: @madingerDominik The update is done on a rolling basis, and will continue up to the end of March. We can't guarantee when you will get it.
Mean: Rollout has begun. Update will come within today and the next two weeks.
Please let us know, if anybody received it [emoji41]

I've been watching the this thread today waiting to see if someone posted about getting the update. I'm impatiently checking for updates every so often today but no luck yet.
Since it is a roll out it some countries might get the update sooner than others.

A new bootloader unlocking method?

Hi,
Did anyone try this method for unlocking bootloader :
http://www.droidthunder.com/unlock-bootloader-of-huawei/
I downloaded al the files just in case they take it offline.
BTW the part to get the unlock code looks kinda harmless to me entering it back in to unlock.... I guess that is the tricky part
