I assume you are only asking about the "I fruit.apk"? As you know XDA has a strict warez policy, so be careful that the apk's you request are the "free" apk's, and not paid apk's.
In your case, the apk appears to be free. You should be able to find it quite easily at the Official GTA forums.

I could upload it but not at the moment. But amazon has finally got the app if you want to just get it from them. Might be quicker and easier

[APP] Final Fantasy III Save location?

I was wondering if anyone knows the save location for final fantasy III? I have a saved game on my tablet and would love to be able to put it on my phone for when I don't have my tablet handy! Any help would be appreciated!
I don't have that game but based on common knowledge and the apps id in the play store start looking in
/data/data/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFIII_GP
Is your tablet rooted? If so maybe you can use titanium backup and copy the folder onto your phone then restore data

I was about to ask the same thing...
not rooted though.
shadowofdarkness is right, if you go to that folder there is a folder called files. In that folder is a file called save.bin. I just took the file from my galaxy tab and put it on my galaxy nexus, and it worked fine.

What is OBB file? I see a huge file in there.. something like 170mb or so.. not sure if the save is included in that or not

He is not talking about /sdcard/Android/data/ folder he is talking about /data/data/ folder which is accessible from root. It is there I just checked myself.
The obb folder is the file downloads when you first buy the game. It has the pictures and music and everything. That folder is on the sdcard, the folder you are looking for is not on the sdcard, but on the phone's internal memory. You will see folders for all of the game/apps you have there.

The OBB file should not be concern of yours. I predict it's a file with games resources in a database.
Just use DataSync mate, works wonders for what you need

Could you post that? I am right after getting the ship and have managed to get myself stuck after riding around the place on a Chocobo. I found a glitched area and can't get out of it.

There is only one Application with which you can view the content of data folder already mentioned few messages before, and it's "Root Explorer" Application. You have to buy it, because I personally have tested lot of file managers and this one is the unique which do what you want whith simplicity. Hope that will help you.

I actually prefer Total Commander over Root Explorer for a few reasons, and it is also free. But either one will let you get into the /data directory to get at the save.

Hacking android games- on PC [Q]

Hello, basically I am wondering what is the best program to edit .DAT files ( the typ of file that is [mostly] used by android-game dev's to save stored data of the game )
and edit them,
also i was wondering what if I can't find the game/app map when connected to USB?
> I want to do it on the PC because I have the one X and are NOT going to root it.
Regards!
In order to access those files and write on them (edit them), you need root.

Please read again, I can access them through my computer easily, in fact I have them open now on HxD editor, but I need a good program to edit these .DAT files with.
Then you need to push those files to the phone, which requires root

An app cannot write there under normal circumstances.. For writing there you need root, but games doesn' store their savegames there.
Let me put it differently.. if an app doesn't ask for root, all files it creates can be accessed by adb.

This is why non rooted phones cannot cheat on games, they cannot access the files there.
When you go into app settings and look under each app, there is a section that says data....x MB. And you can clear data. That data is stored under /data/data

Check again. All user installed apps have folders there with some associated data. Some games don't have their savegames there, others do.

Indeed, and the games I'm wondering about do have the save game in the folder, simply access-able when I connect my phone (One x) to the PC.
Any how, how could I open these files, with what program?

The save games' files are usually XML files. You should be able to simply use notepad (or any other text/word associated software) to edit them.

Hex editor, and messing around to see what each adress does. Every game dev uses their own liba and stuff, there is no universal program to edit those files.
Its like writting your own secret code inside a book, someone else might open it, but go figure out how to interpret each line.

It sure is. Hell, there even is a forum wide XDA announcement about it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=530
You might try enabling USB debugging... Found under developer options. This is in all Android devices enabling varies by release. Try checking out Setting - About Android - build version click that 7 times and it should enable it in main settings. It has already been said you really should root. This is usually the first step to getting root. I know nothing about HTC, but chainfire root has worked for me many times, from Sony, Moto and Samsung. Google your make and model + root +xda dev.
I myself have used Hex Editor, but it looks like garbage to me. Good luck and please give an update if you find a template or app
Interesting. I'm trying to hack my own game. Hope I can, because it obviously is possible...lol.
Hacking HTC devices is hard as hell, i have htc one and i can tell
The root needs clock work mode
And this CWM needs bootloader and the bootloader needs hellava time and experience
I just dont have time to do all that sh1t, isnt there an easier way to root stupid htc's, or at least to hack games on pc
Or hack the games without rooting
And dont tell me to use lucky patcher because its bullsh1t
Thx for reading

Would this be possible? Spoofing a tablet for an app?

So the Battlelog app for android if you are running a tablet lets you use commander mode in the full game (basically play a mini strategy game from anywhere against real pc players) and command from wherever you go.
Would I be able to spoof my nexus 4 into a tablet just to do this without having to buy one?
I am currently running Paranoid Android so this should be possible but I am unable to increase the size of the battlelog app from Hybrid settings.
So when the game comes out in 10 days this should be possible right?
I would love to take Battlefield 4 with me anywhere and command on the go.
If there is a separate tablet apk let me know.

I have that exact question, I'm going to try and use xposed and the app setting from xposed to see if I can force a tablet mode on it, if it works I'll let u know, I'm running on a galaxy s4
Update: the app battle log is not the app that runs commander mode, they r launching a separate app for it, I've tried to find it and no luck though

Hi. Yeah it is a problem with the game compatibility on Google Play. Nothing we can do until EA decides to update the app to work correctly on TF 201. I really hope they do update the app to work with this tablet. Owners of the TF201 have lost all official support from ASUS so I hope devs don't drop support on us either.
Random thought, couldn't you download the game to another device that you have rooted and TiBu on, do a backup of the app then restore it onto the 201?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
I've found what the incompatibility is all about..
dowloaded the apk from zipfiles and installed the game. when you first start the game you have to give a username but the game does not like the attached keyboard so everything locks up.
If you do the first start without the keyboard attached you can fill in the username with the onscreen keyboard and after that you can play the game either with or without the keyboard attached.
So the only problem is initial startup, thats it. Game works perfectly on the TF201

Wait so how exactly do you download the apk? Is there a safe website to download the apk and sideload it? Because I don't want to download an infected virus app. Also does the tablet need to be rooted? Mine is currently non-rooted and stock.

All I will say is that I downloaded the apk from a site one might usually go to for torrents. Some sort of inlet where buccaneers might hang out. My device is not rooted and runs stock firmware. The apk installs fine, and the app runs fine. Is it safe? Who knows? Personally, I think I will uninstall it and wait for them to update it for my device. If it did have bad malware, the damage may already be done.

Hi, your paid Google Play Apps are saved on your Google Accout so you can reinstall them everytime you want, of course on a new Phone too if logg in with your Google Account.
If you want to download the APK files to your Computer you have to root your phone and save the apps with titanium backup as far as i know.

Hello,
Yes you need to be root to able to get aPKs from phone. Android tools, with adb, will helped. Just rembemr, APK you bougth is not yours, its illegal to give them to somebody else or try to reverse engenering them.
JHelp
Not /system/app as this is read only rather /data/app for many apps
Most paid apps go to
/data/app-asec
Unless you are running some real old android versions
And just so you know there is some trickery needed to copy them from here but being its not cool to do so and if distributed its called warez, I'm not going to explain how if that's what youre after

Of course you can, you're rooted. I believe the op was curious where apps go when downloaded from play store and I was just saying that none of them go to /system/anything as this is 'normally' a read only partition. They go straight to /data/app most of the time and paid mostly goes to /data/app-asec
