Extra power menu options - HTC Droid DNA

Anybody know an app or a way to add extra settings to your power menu like in CM? I'd like to be able to reboot straight into recovery, and maybe do a screenshot like on newtoroots HTC ONE port. I'm looking and looking but maybe I'm not getting the wording right. Thanks! :good:

If you want an app quick reboot is great .. it's in the play store

is that CM dependent? bcuz im not running cm.

That's cm dependent. Quick reboot from the play store is pretty useful if you don't have this option. Also you could try an xposed module like gravitybox or xblast tools but I haven't gotten the extended power menu to work in sense Roms.

You can suggest an APM be added to that rom, or use the app xvicedIce suggested.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I appreciate you taking the time to pitch in.

Finally got some time to tinker with xposed. the xblast tool was just what the doctor ordered. Even threw a screenshot button in to boot. Thanks for the tip! :highfive:

[Q] Remove PIE Controls

Hello everyone,
This is my very first post/thread here and I'd like to say that you are AWESOME, but I bet that you already know that so... moving on...
Now, my question is: how can I remove the PIE / PIE Controls from my SGS2 on PA 3 & DorimanX 7.47?
Do not get me wrong, it is a useful thing to have, but it is bugging me while I am in a game or surfing the web(scrolling). If it isn't recommanded to remove it, at least give me a way to make it being ignored by some certain apps.
I might have to mention that it is pre-installed by the ROM/Kernel so it is not that LMT Launcher.
I've been searching a lot lately and found nothing concretely, so I'm desperately asking for help.
Removing is hard if it's coming with rom.
But u can deactivate it normally.
Which rom u use?
Search in settings for a special point from rom or have a look into development.

I was having the same problems with Paranoid Android on the Nexus 4. I had the option to enable it but after that the option to disable it went away.
The solution I found was to hold the power button down, there is an option to disable pie controls.

It does. I gave it a try, but the settings menu is all wonky for me. Like, it will open other settings sections instead of what I pressed, and then FC when I back out. I wonder if it's a fluke with the menu, because on echo's ROM you can pick the S5 style settings menu and it did the same thing.

Not a fluke. The S5 settings menu is rally buggy as well in the 2 4.4 TW ROMs I've tried. Still too new if you ask me.

[4.4+] Immersive Mode, Don't Panic!

Introduction:
Android shows you a help message when you first start an app in Immersive Mode. When you press the 'OK' button, Android sets a flag to remember you saw this message, and stops showing it in the future for this app.
However, Android resets this flag when a panicking user is detected. This is a safeguard measure to help people who don't know what's happening (if they dismissed the message without reading it.) Panicking is detected when the user turns the screen on and off more than once within 5 seconds.
This stackoverflow answer explains this behavior in details.
This simple module makes the method responsible for this check do nothing, thus removing this annoyance.
If you've never encountered this issue, you don't need this module.
Requirements:
Xposed Framework;
Android KitKat or higher;
A navigation bar (no hardware buttons.)
Source code:
https://github.com/GermainZ/ImmersiveModeDontPanic
Download:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.germainz.immersivemodedontpanic
Changelog:
1.1.2:
Compatibility with Lollipop. Won't install/work on earlier versions.
1.1:
New preference: Hide All Popups. If enabled, all the "Welcome to Immersive Mode" popups will be hidden, not only repeated popups.
1.0:
Initial release.

Have you tried tapping the 'Install' button? If that isn't enough, then I'm going to need more info. Why can't you install it? Any errors? What Android version are you running? Have you read the thread's title, which is the first thing you ought to read, or the OP, which is the second?
Works great on my LG Optimus G (e970). Thanks! I thought it was a bug in the 4.4.2 ROM I am using.

I love you, dude! This annoys me SO much.. Glad there's now a fix for it!
i also thought this was a bug with my rom :silly: -until it happened on a different rom.
i run this other module "force immersive mode" which forces fullscreen on chosen apps, but was highly annoyed by this panic thing.

Alright, it's pretty easy to add anyway so I don't see a reason why not.
Try the attached APK. Open the module's preferences, enable "Hide All Popups" and reboot. Let me know if it works.

The latest CM nightlies remove the panic mode. http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/64101/ You can still use this mod to remove all immersive mode warnings, but if you don't need that you can uninstall it.
The change has also been proposed to AOSP. https://android-review.googlesource.com/#/c/95160/
Can you add an option to hide the app from the launcher please?

The best part of that module is that you can do many things with it.
Hide apps from app drawer, change nav bar size, it'll automatically patch services.jar, you'll actually have real quick settings (long hold will open settings), accent colour systemUI....
The best module for Xperia devices...

Flash SuperSu as last piece of Install Procedure. So you will not be encripted.
1. Download ROM, Gapps, SuperSU and put it on the phone's internal storage.
2. Boot into TWRP recovery.
3. Coming from a different ROM? Perform a factory reset using TWRP. If you're upgrading from ROM, proceed to dirty flash.
4. Flash ROM, Kernel (Optional), GApps, SuperSU.
5. Reboot and enjoy.
