Are you sure you entered download mode pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. If you tried that and it didn't work then it is most probably a Hard Brick (Death Of Phone).
Sent from my Ace-i using Tapatalk 2
Hit ThanX if I helped, it won't hurt, maybe...

can you enter the recovery mode?/?

I have a similar problem... I didn't install wrong recovery... but I'm not able to enter download mode (tried insert battery method also)
but I'm able to enter into CWM..nothing else but

You guys should make or buy a USB Jig so that you can forcefully enter download mode... I recall it just takes 2 things: a micro-usb connector and a resistance (don't remember the values though), you can look here in the forums for "Galaxy USB Jig" there are guides on how to build one, it can save you $10 USD
EDIT: I found it!!

Can flashing a recovery even affect the ability to reach odin mode?
When you power up the phone, do you see anything at all?
Is it possible the battery is just dead?

If you've flashed something that has killed your phone completely, and a jig doesn't work, nor does the key combo to access download mode, then you're looking at JTAG service for it.

[Q] ROM Problem: Ace S5830i (with S5830 ROM)

Hello everyone,
I'm here to seek guidance on a problem that has arisen with the mobile phone of my friend. The phone concerned is the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i. He told me that he accidentally put the stock ROM of the S5830 (without i) and since that moment on every boot it stops every times at the screen with name of the smartphone. Do you have any idea what happened? it is a hardbrick or soft brick? How could we try to solve the problem?
Thank you very much

See if you can enter the Recovery Mode and Download Mode. If you can enter the Download Mode, then its just a soft-brick. You can solve this by just flashing the stock rom back using odin from Download Mode. If you can neither enter the Recovery Mode nor Download Mode, then its a hard-brick. In this case, you can try using USB Jig to force open the Download Mode. But let me tell you beforehand it is not always guaranteed to work. If USB Jig did work, then it will force open the Download Mode so you can flash stock rom back using odin. If USB Jig doesn't work either, then your last option is to consult the Service Center. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
I have tried like u said me and i have notice that only recovery mode can be reached, the download mode do not start. Do u have any ideas? I must create a USB Jig or can i fix with odin ??

You can't fix with odin since you can't enter Download Mode. Since you can enter CWM, do Wipe data/ factory partition, Wipe cache partition, Mounts & Storage> Format /system, Advanced> Wipe Dalvik cache from CWM and then install a custom rom for your device from it. See if it works. If that doesn't work either, then you can try using USB Jig or consulting Service Center. The problem with USB Jig is that it is not always guaranteed to work. There are cases where it did work with S5830i but there are also cases where it didn't work. So it is more or less a gamble. You can either buy one or make one. To make a USB Jig, follow the instructions here. You can always consult the Service Center and they are guaranteed to revive your phone but might be a bit costly. Do post the result. Hope I Helped

My brother broke his i9100g and it's messed up. Help?

He tried to flash cyanogenmod 10.1.3 on his i9100g and now it has problems
1) when pressed power button, it will go to twrp
2) when pressed the recovery comb, it won't boot
3) when pressed the download comb, it won't boot
4) when charging or plugged to a computer, it will boot to twrp automatically
5) when in twrp, touch doesn't work. the screen won't detect touches
Now I have his phone with me. I'm using mac and I have heimdall, recovery-clockwork, cm-10.1.3 and gapps downloaded.
Anyone with advice / guides to help me fix his phone?
If you need additional information, I will try to provide it.

Hello
I think that it's an easy fix.First, download another rom and make sure that it's for the i9100g not the i9100, why don't you download stock rom i9100g and then use a usb cable to copy it to the s2 i9100g, but in order for it to appear on open mounts and storage (i'm not sure if it is the same in twrp),so copy the rom which is FOR the i9100g and then flash it.Everything should be ok

The problem is that it won't go pass twrp. It couldnt even go to download mode. AFAIK there isnt any way to copy the files to the phone via USB cable without the phone booted or in download mode. But if what I said is wrong, please do enlighten me.

There should be a mounts and storage option in twrp, click mount sd, connect usb and then copy the file needed for flashing.
or you could try to flash a rom via odin, download samsung stock 4.1.2 and put your phone into download mode (press power button+home+volume down) and then connect a usb to flash the rom.If you have any questions related to this please ask.If the rom is installed successfully but you get a bootloop boot into stock recovery and wipe cache partion and do a factory data reset.
but I take no responsibility if your phone gets bricked or damaged
Thanks

It sounds like it could be soft bricked - might happen if the wrong phone model software has been flashed. The only way around this I know of is to get hold of a USB Jig. Its worth a try before the repair shop!

Question one: do you know anyone else who has that phone?
Question two: have you tried running Odin with it and posting any info you get from there?
Question three: which carrier is this? I don't recognize the model number
Hopefully we can get the thing kicking again :fingers-crossed:

Greetings to all!
I write to ask for help! My Samsung S3 SHV-E210S rebooted and stayed on the Samsung logo.
I tried and tried to flash all the Sammobile roms, and I stopped in NAND Write Start ...
I used all the Odins, all the versions, and anyway I am stopped in NAND Write Start ...
If I can enter Download mode.
Pulse Volume Up + Home + Power, goes into recovery but I get this image ...
h ttp://subefotos.com/ver/?fa72bf39101adb5960815dfe914c4a00o.jpg
I tried to install CWM and TWRP, without success.
I searched the 4 files to repair but I can not find them.
If you can help me I would appreciate it in advance.
Will my s3 be dead?

Try another cable and make sure you use a port on the motherboard. If using a laptop use the port that is single, whatever side it may be on..
When connecting the phone make sure you have kies installed but NOT running. You can stop all the kies processes in task manager.
Make sure the phone is in download mode BEFORE connecting it to a pc. This ensures the correct drivers are used to communicate with the phone in that specific mode.
Get the md5 hash of the file you're trying to flash and google it to make sure it matches known files.
If you're absolutely sure your cable and port are good, you've tried an official cwm and a known working stock rom but you still get "e:/failed to mount" errors or failing at "nand write start" in odin then you can attempt a .pit file but it is VERY dangerous for the device and can brick it.
Failing that you have a dead device.

[Q] Fix Samsung GI9300 can't boot into download mode

Hi there,
A few day ago, i installed "TWRP Recovery" to my Samsung Galaxy S3 GI9300 via "TWRP Manager".
Then I reboot but after reboot, I can't see anything on my phone. There is only a black screen. I tried to boot to Download Mode but I can't seem to enter Download Mode. When I connect my phone to computer, i only see "HQSUSB_DLOAD" . Anyone can tell me how to fix this.
Thanks and sorry for my bad English.
Are your sure that you flashed the correct version of TWRP? Sometimes there is more then one version of a phone (I know that there were 2 versions of the Galaxy S2. If you flashes a wrong recovery it bricked ) You can try to use a usb jig. This is a little micor usb stick with an 330Ohm resistor in it. Samsung Galaxy phones boot into the download mode if you plug it in. If this does not work your phone is probably bricked (whick means that you need special hardware to flash a working bootloader again)
