Wow thank you so much man
and here is a note for you :

Released Beta 2, changelog and link on OP.
Enviado desde mi GT-N7000 mediante Tapatalk

How many ROMs are you trying to maintain.
Again well done @herna

Already rooted?

Hi herna
I have a question.
I know all the past CyanogenMods I have put on my device use CWM recovery and not TWRP.
Will CyanogenMod always keep using CWM recovery?
I don't mean that as a bad thing. I like both recoveries but I thought I would ask this.
CWM recovery is still my favorite
Also thanks for releasing this. Really appreciate it

It will have always CWM. Now is broken , I need to fix it so I would suggest to install my fixthat.zip on the Omni ROM 4.4 until I release a fixed one

Thanks
Hi Herna,
Many thanks and really appreciate your contribution for our Galaxy Note.
Please explain what is the mean of "Recovery Broken"
Thanks again mate.

Recovery broken means "kaputt", damaged, you can't use CWM recovery.

Oh! Thanks you,
So how to do the future updates

@herna you mean that one... fixthat.zip
++++ link removed by me ++++
@mjrifath that is why it is called experimental
The fix above is confirmed working on Omni 4.4,but I haven't tested it on CM 11. Because I won't touch CM anymore! So flash it on your own risk etc yadda yadda

Beta2 didnt even boot for me. But i flashed the fixthat.zip before rebooting from recovery. But no go here

Thanks for confirming @Galaxtus
I removed the link, sorry for the inconvenience

the fix that you mention did not work the device will not start and stick to black unresponsive screen...
but I flash with just the cm11 and gapps.. if worked
testing now hope that the issues in omin4.4 is not present in this rom

I removed link, maybe I uploaded the wrong file, can someone confirm me that Beta2 booted correctly without flash fixthat.zip AA1973 posted?

Even if it boots what about the broken recovery Then you cant use the recovery to flash anything. Maybe @AA1973 suggestion might work doing preload/TWRP hack on Omni thread

Here is my review
-graphical issues across all apps
- doesn't seem to read my ext SD card or it died during flashing xd
-device seems to get bit hotter than usual
-its extremely fast and fluid
-video recording seems bit less fps then on stock ROMs.
-opens phone contracts and messaging apps very fast.
I'll try to test other features.
That's so far , its not for daily use yet (bummer xD)
Awesome job anyway

OK solved the problem by downloading and flashing the one from the second link. Weird. Ok now the second problem is with root. Chainfire said that for those who have upgraded to 4.3 needs to re root.

I've been working on a AOSP-CAF version for OnePlus One. This is started from kernel and device tree by CyanogenMod so thanks a lot to them for the bringup. I've just modified it to work with AOSP. This is pure AOSP and no more features will be added, so kindly Don't request it.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUCCESSFULLY BOOTING IT (FOLLOW CAREFULLY) :
1. Flash the ROM.
2. Flash Gapps.
3. Flash Radioactive Reborn kernel by @acuicultor (the CM version). (You can try other kernels, But i liked this and ROM didn't boot without flashing this kernel).
4. Flash Supersu.
5. Flash the Data Fixer Zip.
6. Reboot.
NOTE: The ROM takes quite some time to boot, so don't panic. & if you don't flash the kernel, then it won't boot.

that's a recovery error! Try wiping data and reboot recovery. Then flash it .
booting does take time. first impressions: its pretty solid. as OP said its pure aosp so don't expect any customizations. and i do get problems while flashing the rom but again as the OP said its recovery issues and not ROM related. interesting thing is i cant switch my NFC and when i rebooted and i mean simple reboot just to make sure my SIM was working or not, it was optimizing 54 apps. strange. else i couldn't find any flaws. +1 to OP for a solid ROM.
And screenshots are on their way
EDIT:- the zip you posted is giving me error 7 @tusharjain95 and after every reboot i get optimising apps thing.

If build only for ext4 could you make build for f2fs?
Thank you in advance!
I didn't get any error while flashing the rom, but mobile data doesn't work for me, so the rom is unusable for me

EDIT: nope got so many FC on app (twitter, playstore etc) hope get fix in next build
EDIT 2: is it normal for AOSP the lockscreen clock super big ? tq

You blind brah ? That's the problem when you don't read the OP. I already posted the fix for data in the OP.
@tusharjain95 Would you mind posting a link to the device tree you used?

Dear tusharjain95,
You have given a link for download your AOSP-CAF build as https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=tusharjain95&dl=tusharjain95/aosp-mm6.0.1-20160324-bacon.zip
But what about next link for your AOSP-CAF builds - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=52746? Are these stable or test builds?

NOT WORKING/BROKEN/ISSUES
Forced encryption previously caused issues, disabled this for all future builds
Battery Icon Customization, Landscape and Circle) - Percentage next to and inside icon now working
Most GApps packages currently have an issue on first boot during the setup wizard, where you cannot get past the "Copy from another phone" stage.
There is no reliable 1-stop fix for this as of right now, however the most common workarounds are as follows:
-Omit GApps from first boot(do not flash it), get through the setup, then reboot and flash GApps.
-Cause the setup wizard to crash(I usually just click the next/skip buttons as fast as possible for several seconds), most of the time it will continue the setup
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this stable/daily driver ready? - Currently it is fairly stable, however please note the current issues, particularly with GApps.
Do I have to update TWRP to 3.0.2-2 or later? - Only if you're upgrading with an encrypted storage and wish to retain that encryption/data. It is, however, recommended regardless.
Do I have to update my Vendor image? - Yes, although untested, this ROM theoretically will not boot without the latest Vendor image. I also recommend the latest -STABLE- Bootloader and Radio images for best results. This does not include Developer Preview images.
Is CyanogenMod Theme Engine included/working? - No, as of right now, it is not. Current progress can be seen here: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/topic:cm14-themes
Why are my app permission dialogs enlarged/unclickable OR Why do apps require me to manually set their permissions? - You need to exclude Google's Package Installer when flashing GApps
Is <GoogleAppNameHere> working? - Probably. But maybe not. This thread, however, is intended for CyanogenMod testing, NOT Gapps testing
SIM card not detected/com.android.phone crashing - This is a database issue when upgrading from a previous CM14.1 to a newer CM14.1 build. Delete the following: /data/user_de/0/com.android.providers.telephony/databases and /data/com.android.dialer/databases then reboot.
What's changed in the latest build? - Any specific changes will be listed in the below changelog, however for routine/regular builds no changes will be listed. Check CMXLog for general CM changes

I've had it boot several times, although it seems after I flash GApps, it decides to no longer boot

Please read the opening thread post before posting questions. It clearly says in red text, NOT stable, NOT good for daily driver.
As for battery life, no idea as of yet.

This seems to be related to the forced encryption, and only happens for me after I flash GApps, if I only flash CM, it works fine.
I'll have to look into disabling forced encryption, and see if that helps at all for the issues we're having so far.
ok I need some help here...
i used fastboot to wipe userdata and now i can't get back into twrp :S
how do i go about reflashing twrp and get recovery to boot back up? it's just stuck at the opening Team Win screen of twrp

Future notice, just reflash TWRP if you ever end up in a situation where you can't boot into it. Get to the bootloader, and "fastboot flash recovery twrp-whatever.img"
Also would recommend not using experimental/unstable roms if you're not all that experienced. You can end up doing damage to your device. Just a warning, obviously your own choice
Woooow

Why not just flash a different kernel ...?

Able to boot fine and keep Gapps after flashing ElementalX kernel. However, play services does not work and force closes. (OpenGapps)
And Gello force closes

Blast from the past! I remember in the not too distant past Omnirom being touted as the next best thing, and then it kind of disappeared. More roms the merrier! Thanks.

It never Disappeared, its just who has the devices to work on it. In the past I did a lot for the Nexus 7 2013 but now I have a flounder I decided to recently work on that as well.
Official Weeklies are up

Woah thanks! Another great choice for our beloved Nexus 9! I couldn't be happier!
Going to try out Omni for the first time. Is it based on Lineage or their own AOSP implementation?
Butter smooth rom. Very nice performance, although the battery backup is not the best (not bad either). Would you mind uploading the vendor images too??
Thanks a lot for this great rom.
Quick question, are these builds eligible for OTA deltas or are we downloading full zips and flashing every time? Running unofficial Lineage OS atm so was verifying before flashing
Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
Edit: went ahead did a backup and flashed it and it does have an OTA menu

It's own AOSP implementation. It's a rom completely separate from Lineage

I could possible extract the latest vendor image and upload it but I'm sure someone else on XDA has already done that?
Also not sure what you mean by "battery backup"

Yes sorry for the late reply. It has OTA updates via OpenDelta and in general new builds are done weekly.
Newest Weekly includes OMS
For anyone interested, the newest weekly has merged OMS. You can now install Substratum and theme this rom. YMMV
Thanks!

Hi @hardslog ! with last weekly it ask me for outdated vendor (NMF26F). Can I stay on last one (N4F26T)? Thanks
PS I'm using F2FS and I'm very happy with last weekly

You should be ok with newest vendor, but you make it sound like there is likely some device updates for me to do

Don't worry the device work well with my configuration! TWRP is very slow on F2FS (I know it's slow on every device with F2FS)
I have some problems with substratum. My favorite swift black don't fully work. And some other themes too.
I will try to be more precise in the next hour
Inviato dal mio ONEPLUS A3003 utilizzando Tapatalk
Correction with my previous post. I had problem with root not with substratum. (And so substratum don't work). I tried all root method without success. Reverted to EXT4 and all is working again. For now I will stay on EXT4.

How can I enable Advanced Reboot
Does anyone know how to enable the Advanced Reboot option in Omni 7.1.1? I enabled Developer Options and had a look for the setting there, but could not find it. When I try to reboot I get a Reboot Dialog saying Advanced reboot is disabled. Do you want to reboot? Along with an option to not show again. Searching the settings also doesn't give any hints for enabling reboot to recovery or bootloader.
Does anyone know where I might enable this?
