The last menu option is normally a 'Go back' option so select that to go to the previous menu list.

hi
the "Back', "home' and 'menu' touch button doesnt work in CWM 5.5.x for Xperia Go. However just above these buttons the touch function works!!! which are aligned Up, Down, Enter, Back from left to right. These menus are not visible but you can touch and try it.
thanks

Hey Guys,
Here we have MIUI v4 for Xperia Active!
This ROM is based on CM9 FXP111 and is MIUI version 2.3.9.
IF YOU USE ANY OF MY WORK PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE, THANK YOU!
Whatever issues CM9 has, this ROM will have as well..
Obviously whatever is supplied and you flash is at your own risk,
I will not take responsibilty for any damage to your handset, car, pets etc etc
I cannot update this ROM in the same way I do for the Play as I do not have an Active handset.. maybe if the more generous people in the community would care to make some donations I will purchase one to work on
Please report any bugs and I will do my best but obviously as I cannot test anything myself I cannot guarantee I will fix anything!
YOU NEED TO USE THE LATEST FXP111 KERNEL

I'm downloading one now. I try to do as you said
-Already have the file on my PC.. Oh thank god!
-Flashing the rom with the hopefully home button fix now
-That made it stuck at the MIUI logo. I dont think its possible to replace the ICS usr folder with a GB one with success
-Home button works now but it makes evrything FC when i press the home, back or menu button (btw it wasnt a completely stock ROM i used so i might have to download a update.zip completely stock )
STABLE
YES! I have all the buttons working without any crash! I tried replace the files with a STOCK ROM wiithout delete the folders, just overwrite the files!
-Only big issue is wifi does not work right now but it shold be pretty easu to find a working fix for that too
- Fixed wifi now by using wifi module from KrSH and using kama's kernel v2 from his ICS AOSP ROM.

New exclusive feature of Xperia sola - Glove mode:
ICS update lets you use Xperia™ sola with your gloves on
Using floating touch over entire UI
How it works
Glove mode is enabled by default in the ICS upgrade for Xperia™ sola, so when you unlock the phone while wearing a glove (or with a bare finger in the air), you will enter glove mode and Floating touch™ mode will be disabled. In this mode, both glove touch and normal touch usage will work, for example, if you take off the gloves. There is also a cursor ring shown where you press the screen with your glove, to help you understand where you are actually pressing the screen. To turn off glove mode, you simply lock the screen and then unlock it with your bare finger touching the screen and you’re back to normal mode with Floating touch™ enabled. - Sony

Observations/Issues/Bugs:
Wifi Signal seems to be a little weaker, gsm signal is bit better.
Floating touch is available in some games instead of normal touch.
Battery Drain.
Poor Ram management.
microSD is causing reboots and bootloops(for some users).
As usual touch screen freaks when charging.
Settings Crash when you open running apps(for some users).
Lags(for some users)
Wifi bugs.
Camera on Instagram doesn't work.

Fixes:
For faster UI experience: Settings->Developers options-> Set Window Animation scale and Transition Animation scale to x5 or off.
Before rooting have backup using that backup&restore app, some users are reporting problems mounting to PC after rooting,so if you have similar problem, restore the back up.
SD Card Reboot fix:
Use System Tuner or any app and set SD IO Scheduler to "noop " instead of "cfq".

It is a humble request to everyone to please factory reset the phone after updating....It will really be worth it!!!
PLease let me know if I have got this right.
Running on custom ROM +custom kernel now.
To flash this ROM we need to get off both the custom parts.
To do that is to first relock the bootloader and then flash the stock/factory ROM.
Right so far?
And then finally flash the FTF file through Flashtool + factory reset.

Anyway,just flash ICS ftf.
Just did a factory reset after flashing. The phone really does feel faster (or it might just be me) wifi signal seems to be a little weaker though, whilst gsm signal is a bit better.
if you want a faster experience do this should help alot
go into settings/developers options and scroll down and change window animation scale and transition animation sale to x5 or off will notice a big difference in opening apps

Can't mount USB Mass Storage using this recovery.
Is it normal or is it a bug? Using King's Rom at the moment.
Edit: Seems like it's this recovery bug, as I switched to an older recovery (5.5.0.4) and USB Mass Storage is working fine now.
I can get a good deal on a simlocked Xperia U, but want to use another provider.
Does this recovery remove the simlock?

Just discovered that my Provider wants 75% of my XU's price to remove Simlock (may those [email protected])"%$/% burn in hell) ...
This one is the big deal for locked BLs, works great! :cyclops:
THX a lot!
Can i use this also for unlocked Bootloader?
Why there is an error: unknown volume for path sd-ext (Dalvik cache).

Yes, if you use stock kernel.

Because you don't have sd-ext partition.
Hmm, and I have to have it? I Stock FW .54, ROOT and your CWM.

No. sd-ext is a partition for apps in your sdcard. If you make an ext partition in your sdcard (or internal memory in this phone) you can run apps from this. But we have enough space for apps, so we don't need to use it.
Ok, thanks for the clarification.
On other devices, I have not seen this error so I wanted to ask the author what exactly means, but if this is normal, and so it should be fine.

(How To) Illumination for CM9/CM10/CM10.1/CM10.2/CM11 and Stock JB ROMs Guide

This is the last time I edited this thread now. If you guys need help about any illumination, you can check this thread. I've made this for it for some who don't understand about getting illumination on some custom ROMs. I leave here and I will soon left XDA for learning programming and many other stuff because I'm getting lost and lost everyday. Bye guys.
Ok guys! I have a little workout for this ROM!
As you know illumination bar never works like ICS, I tried a little with modifications for Xperia U illumination files via ADB.
Note: You don't need to download if you want in Stock JB based ROMs. Just download the ROMs I suggested and follow instructions carefully!
First thing first, let's download some needed data.
Illumination files with ADB and Runme.bat which is needed for install with ADB Click Here!
For CM10.1,CM10.2, and CM11,
Flash this fix first and follow the guide: HERE
Notice: CM10.1,CM10.2 and CM11 was not included Light Levels settings but it is OK. Just click Runme.bat and reboot :fingers-crossed:
Instructions:
1. Download files and place it on your any folder and any drive for your PC. Connect your Xperia U device with debugging mode via USB.
2. Click Runme.bat (For CM9 or CM10 ROMs only)
For JB stock based ROMs, use this guide from bro @NoobCoder for LED fix
LED fix for Stock JB based ROMs
For CM9, CM10
1. After you run RunMe.bat, reboot
2. Go to Settings > Display > Automatic backlight
3. In LIGHT LEVELS section, tick "Use custom" and go to "Edit other levels"
4. Set all Screens and Buttons values to 255 (Don't set Lower values!!! Just Screens and Buttons to 255)
5. After you did all that, you have to click "Save & apply"
6. Now you got illumination working just like in ICS except when you touch the screen, the light bar is lit up again
7. Reinstall Illumination Bar Notification App if you already have it for FCs.
8. Reboot and set your theme color in Illumination bar app
Credit for this instruction: Thanks for bro @space1991 for this fix! Original thread from him goes here
If you got solution, PM me or leave a reply here about illumination. But this thread will help you fix and get illumination and ideas I hope
Enjoy life! Enjoy your Xperias! Cheers!! :victory::victory::victory::victory:

I need help for fixing some issues on custom ROMs. Instead of claim why it wouldn't work, please help us and get illumination bar working (which is our devices special thing) for custom ROMs with less issues! Cheers!
Currently the two members from XDA are helping for me about pipi14's download link. They are bro @bibhu059 and bro @space1991 Thanks a lot dear brothers.
Also thanks to @DaniPhii for helping
All credit goes to:

Is your workout lasting "for ever" or only for next reboot?

It's last forever
Works well on CM10,1
Edit: But its kinda buggy, you guys should use light lib from FXP203 CM9.1 for kumquat and then your button lights are working better than that, plus the illumination bar will work for notifications as well

Edit: Found it. Delete boot.img and flashed it on stock Jellybean and I got bootloop. Hehe. I forgot it replaces framework files. Well, will try to test CM10.1 and will work out for that issue, too brother!
"adb push hw_config.sh /system/etc/" works for me in ADB.
Not working on CM10 for me.
Neither working in unofficial stock jellybean4.1.2

CM10 ? Well, I didn't mention that in my thread (only for port stock based ROM) but will try to test and re-edit for that. Don't mind me because I'm downloading ROMS with my 3G Xperia U :crying::crying::crying::crying: And also I have to pay for that connection :crying::crying::crying::crying:
For the CM10, will you tell me the lightest ROM for that because the larger the size is, the more I have to pay for my connection. I need to test.

stock jellybean 4.1.2 by your port and experimental kernel for Xperia U and I did this all right.. maybe kernel problem that can't be mount /system bro
Try experimental kernel and do it again bro. I'm using your ROM and button lights works but sometimes, it just disappeared like my ex-girlfriend :crying::crying: Trying to fix that also
And also I need help for finding solution everyone!! Please help this and let's work together!

Ok man. I will request developers for working out of this. I need help also. I am not a developer but trying to learn android!
On CM10 now. Everythings working guys. Illumination can be fixed by going to display settings > tweaks level filtering and tick use custom and set light levels. Set all cell and button to 255 values. Save it. Then use this mod. Everything works!
For ADB not working, did you give root access to ADB? It's in developer settings.

Brother, you need Illumination Bar Notification App to work on together with. Without it, you can't get your illumination bar actively working.
