[ROM+EXTRAS] Stock i8190XXAMJ3 Rooted | Deodexed | Zipaligned | Debloated | Odin - Galaxy S III Mini Android Development

Here is the latest AMJ3 ROM, modem and kernel for our i8190 devices. Don't try to install it any other variation of the SIII mini! Just download and install via recovery. If you don't have network once booted after flashing modem, just reboot and it will be OK.
ROM
This is the stock AMJ3 ROM with some changes:
Rooted with Chainfire's SuperSU
Pre-installed busybox for apps
All apps deodexed for flexibility
All apps zipaligned for performance
The zip file is signed
The ROM was debloated of some unnecessary apps. I removed exactly the same apps as tys0n's on his ROMs to be on the safe-side. You can download any of this apps using tys0n's repository.
The zip file contains the AMJ3, so you don't need to flash it separately. The installer will automatically wipe system/cache/dalvik partitions. If you are coming from a non-stock ROM, please wipe data yourself using your recovery. This ROM can be flashed using both TWRP and CWM, but I recommend TWRP.
If you want to update your baseband along with the ROM, flash the modem from this thread.
Download: https://mega.co.nz/#!wMlAwKTD!O2wNgn0OTvNYTzjt3GZqQVa5MURToMyzIkc0nom2tPU
MD5 checksum: 59cd1790bcabf8cb58288f18732b46eb i8190xxamj3.zip
If you don't have a recovery, you can use my Odin package. This will flash AMJ3 ROM, kernel and baseband, plus a TWRP recovery modified by Maclaw so it works with Android 4.4 KitKat ROMs. If you have a non-stock ROM installed, make sure you boot into recovery after flashing and do a factory reset!
For flashing this, make sure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked, select the file clicking in PDA and hit start.
Download Odin Package: https://mega.co.nz/#!lV9wlRwa!LZHXF35W-JPJETUW0YPYhx49pBZWTJzW7PjJwugmfUk
Note that I compressed this file using 7zip. This way the file will be 100MB+ smaller than using zip and speed up my upload and your download. It's a win-win! If you don't know how to extract it, download 7zip.
Modem (baseband)

Kernel
https://mega.co.nz/#!dNEgyQBZ!Dd_qvmaid24ZukAjJBHDcjoLKyA8_4HcMCVcoSlSQaE
Both modem and kernel installers are based on tys0n's work. The modem is a copy-cat from somin.n's work.
Enjoy!

Look at the upload-date of the ROM.

Is that firmware/radio zip flashable through Twrp?
Also, is force encryption disabled?
Which gapps do you recommend?
Do you think I could ask more questions in one reply? ☺
Thanks for the great work.

Yes force encryption is disabled. Gapps are not required as this is a stock Google rom not a aosp. The firmware radio zip is not flash able through twrp it is a Windows executable fastboot file (unless this has changed since I flashed it awhile ago). Somewhere it explains how to use the firmware zip file I'll see if I can find it for you.
Ok so looking at the zip file for the firmware I believe it has changed from what it was when I flashed the e version of firmware and radio. It appears now that you do not have to use windows/fastboot to flash this file anymore. It looks like to me u should be able to flash through twrp. Can someone else confirm?
I'm 99.999% positive looking at the zip file it can be flashed via twrp.
Anyone dirty flash this over the E build? Also, will having Franco kernel be an issue or can I just flash away?

Are you on stock e rom? I don't see any issue flashing from E. Its really pretty minor changes so you shouldn't have any issues. But of course always make a backup and clean flash if you have issues.. Also Franco kernel will work fine with any 5.1 build. I don't believe the boot images have changed throughout all these new images
Yep, I'm actually on his E rom, odex, with Franco. I went from D to E dirty. Let's try it again, eh?

Is there an Odex version of this? I've been on your odex e build for a while and wanted to try the latest. Thanks!
i am trying to install some script in the init.d
but i cant find that folder. This does have init.d correct?
Would it be possible for the original poster to make a Stock 47M ROM that is NOT rooted (but DOES disable forced encryption!)?
I'm having a serious problem with Real Racing 3 on this build. It won't start. EA's support says 3.2.2 fixes issues with nexus 6 and 5.1. I think they are full of crap, but as I'm rooted, I know any crash reports or stuff I send them will likely be tossed as they don't 'support' rooted devices. So I'm hoping to get a T-Mobile build that's not encrypted but also not rooted just to see if the RR3 crash occurs and send them a crash dump.
Thanks in advance, or if you know who DOES have a 47M unrooted/decrypted flashable ROM I'd appreciate it.
Randy

This is a 95% stock Lollipop 5.0 rom........I'm not going to make a colorful thread on this. Its just
a stock rom with a few features . Please note that I am not going to add anything, nor will I remove
anything else.
Once a new update drops from T-Mobile I will update the rom............
Features
Stock G900TUVU1DOB1
Rooted with SuperSU
Deodexed
4-Way Power Menu
Removed Batter Cover Toast Message
Disabled Signature Verification (user apps)
Working Private Mode
Init.d Performance Scripts
Added Sqlite3
Added BusyBox
Removed Security Pop-Ups
Enabled Unknown Souces as default
How to Flash
YOU MUST BE ON OB1 FIRMWARE TO FLASH THIS
I use TWRP for all of my roms. But, I'm sure other recoveries will work just as well.
A FULL wipe is required if you are coming from ANY rom. I advise a full wipe anytime you flash
a rom......Prevents any issues from popping up.
1. Download the rom
2. Make a backup of your current rom
3.Full Wipe (system,cache,dalvik,data)
4. Flash
5. Boot time can be up to 10 minutes...............

Yes. Well you can do more. Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/fxz-nexus-6-recovery-flashable-fastboot-t3066052, go down to LVY48C (5.1.1 Project Fi), download the Radio only (02.102) Standard:**click the link** and flash that too. Doesn't matter which one you flash first.

Just spotted that and fixed the link. It is available to download now.

I am new to N6 for just two weeks and thanks for the flashable zip. I just want to know if my N6 is on LMY47Z, rooted and not encrypted with bootloader unlocked. What I need is just boot into TWRP recovery, wipe and flash the zip, that's it? Thanks!

Yes thats fine, simply backup your current ROM in TWRP, then I would wipe and install the new ROM for best results, Try with out wiping first to see if it upgrades ok.

I would recommend not flashing the stock recovery, but it would be a good idea to flash bootloader and radio as well.
Sorry for a potentially dumb question, but is this only for those using Fi? Or will it activate under att just fine?
Can I flash this stuff on a Sprint enabled Nexus 6? And still use the Sprint network.

I assume so yes. I had been testing it on my international Nexus 6 and it connected with all my APN settings with out any issue. Just back up your current ROM first, before you flash., then you can simply restore backup if there are any issues.

Custom Kernel for the A20 (Android 9 with U2 bootloader)

@Agrim720 has developed a super kernel for the Galaxy A20
For phones running a GSI with the U2 bootloader (June 2019 Firmware)
1. Download the new zimage and hktweaks from here.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81010583&postcount=144
2. Follow my installation instructions here.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81013993&postcount=145
The quick way is to download and unzip my new boot.img and install it from TWRP.
View attachment boot.zip
Just have your original patched boot.img ready just in case. If things go wrong, you just need to install your boot.img to get back to where you were.
For phones with the U3-U4 bootloader (late Oct - Nov 2019) @Agrim720 has developed his ripper kernel here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a20/development/kernel-ripper-kernel-v1-0-t4020627
The stock kernel allocates 2 core at 1.56GHz and 6 cores at 1.352GHz
The super kernel increases the CPU speeds to 2 cores at 2.184GHz and 6 at 1.586GHz
If you want to see the highest frequencies, you need to use hktweaks to set the minimum frequencies to equal the maximum frequencies.
If you don't use hktweaks, it will generally restrict itself to 1.768GHz and 1.482GHz

I just tried to backup with this kernel in place and it wouldn't backup data.
I had to reflash my patched stock boot.img

its a twrp thing not kernel related.
@physwizz
Can't seem to make it boot up. I followed all your instructions, maybe I have to use a GSI Rom?

Hi @Deluriane
You do NOT need GSI. It will work on any firmware now.
I just did a full Root / Twrp on the latest stock firmware from NOV. [ A205GUBU4ASK2 ] and it worked perfectly.
Just follow the correct guide for U4 and use the correct boot.img (compressed to a tar) and it WILL work :good:
Try it and let us know. :cyclops:

I think the links have been deleted because the kernel doesn't follow the rules

I dont have it installed right now since went back to stock since installing GSI, going to try out the custom kernel, reroot and reinstall TWRP.
Didnt have TWRP before when I tried installing the kernel using Odin, but since Agrim720 released a TWRP and worked on my phone didnt try to install the kernel again.
