NOTES
SlimKat 4.4.2 Build 4
Build 4 is live! Please read the Changelog for more details including proper upgrade/installation methods, as well as notes on activating root.
Changes, Features & Fixes:
Changelog for Build 4
changelogs since stable SlimKat 3 release: 3.2 - 3.4 - 3.6 - 3.8 - 3.10
Framework: Fix LTE tile
Framework: SlimPie: turn on HA on highEndGfx devices
Framework: Add Landscape layout for ECA
Framework: Add support for QC's time_daemon
Framework: SystemUI: Remove broadcast from QH toggles
Settings: QuierHours service: call with qualified user and introduce controller
Settings: Fix possible illegal argument exception
Camera2: if camera HAL does not return valid picture formats do not show wrong values.
Device specific: several fixes and upstream. See attached changelog on the device download
Gapps: Complete rework of the gapps package. Update to Google Music, Google YouTube, Google PlayStore TRDS

Known Issues
i9100 Specific Known Issues (Build 4 as at 01/04/2014):
SDCard/Fuse Daemon issues (aka "Music Playback Bug"). On extended music play it can suddenly happen that the playback stops.
Camcorder - Zoom on 1080p mode is buggy see below for "workaround"
WiFi Direct doesn't work
General Known Issues (Build 4 as at 01/04/2014):
LTE tile: on clean flash if the first toggle of LTE tile does not work go into settings->more->mobile networks and set one time the network mode to 3g. After this the LTE toggle will work always as expected
National data roaming: If you tick the option in settings all entries get visually disabled although they still work. Do not worry about it and just re-enter the screen again and it is corrected. As long as SlimKat supports your provider this works as intended.
Notes:
If you are running on ART, and you're having issues with an app... check this list to see whether app is known to have issues with ART.
Zoom on 1080p mode "sometimes" works... if you set camcorder to 1080p, switch to camera, change res so zoom starts working again, and then switch back to camcorder... zoom will work on 1080p :silly: However, if you turn the screen off, or close and re-open the camera, the zoom will be broken again Also, once it stops working on camcorder, it'll probably stop working on camera as well until you change the resolution/picture size
4.4 mini-FAQ
Q) My recovery won't flash the 4.4 zip... aka "Status 7 error"... what do I do?
A) Get the i9100_SlimKat_4.4.2_compat_recovery zip attached below... flash it... reboot to recovery... be amazed by new TWRP recovery... then:
Wipe - Advanced - Select cache, dalvik, system (and Data if you want FULL wipe)
Install Slim ROM + Slim Gapps
Reboot
Profit!
Q) Root doesn't work!
A) From a clean build you need to enable root access for Superuser itself. This is different from some earlier versions of android (4.2 and below) in which Superuser by default had root access on a new install. To do this, go to Settings -> Developer options -> Root access. If an app attempts to request root access before Superuser itself has access, it may cause problems with that app in the future where root requests are silently denied.
Q) Developer Options? What Developer Options? I don't see that in Settings??!?
A) By default, this is conveniently hidden from view... as it does contain settings and options that can (and will) break stuff if you don't know what you're doing. If you require access to this, Settings -> About Phone... Then tap on the Build Number 7 times.
Q) How to change DPI?
A) Currently, this feature hasn't been ported... so you'll need to install Texdroider DPI from the playstore... or edit /system/build.prop and change ro.sf.lcd_density to the desired value
Q) I upgraded and lost my sim unlock, none of the unlock tools are working?
A) Unfortunately, I have nothing but Bad News™ for you Seems Samsung locked everything down and Google played along... Get a "proper" (aka carrier) unlock... or use older versions of Android... There is nothing we can do
Q) Music just randomly stops playing... and then won't work properly until reboot and/or drains battery?
A) Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot we can do. Due to new SDCard handling and issues with FUSE, there is a strange quirk with Exynos4 devices like i9100 and n7000 where the system freaks out and dies... users have had various levels of success trying some of the following workarounds: 1. format sdcards with ExFAT (apparently can cause issues with backups and/or GPS apps??)... 2. Put all your music on internal SD...
More details can be found in this OmniROM thread...

Since unofficial builds were causing mass confusion in the RootBox Support thread, I have created this thread. This is where all unofficial builds of RootBox will be put from now on. If you create a build and want it added to the OP you must include a few things:
An MD5sum
Confirm it is 100% functioning (it boots, no ril issues, wont cause soft-brick).
Be willing to provide support for your build (answer any questions users have about it)

Welcome to the unofficial Build and Support Thread for the RootBox Rom build by Bajee11!!!
♦ Team ♦
First we want to introduce the team behind this thread, which tries to keep the thread helpful for all:
Bajee11, creator of the ROM
kilometers4
rkoby13
Nico_60
All the other people here who are answering questions and helping!
Best practices:
You should always do nandroid backup before flashing anything!
If you do not backup (I don't understand why) or you are not experienced enough, never flash ROM right after build is released. Let more experienced users to flash, test and report findings.
♦ Help-Index ♦
A
Alarm
• How can I disable alarm icon?
You can enable/disable alarm icon in statusbar in Clock > Settings.
You can enable/disable next alarm information on cLock widget in RootBox Settings > cLock > Clock and alarm.
B
Battery
• How can I save my battery? (Without flashing anything or undervolt kernel)
You can check all apps/functions which sync in background like GPS, Wlan or Social accounts (If not needed = disable)
Set the Brightness down (Settings > Display > Brightness)
Use dark (best black) theme & wallpaper & lockscreenwallpaper
C
cLock & Clock
• How can I place cLock on lockscreen?
Look into Lockscreen section below.
• Where do I configure cLock?
RootBox Settings > cLock. There you can configure Clock + Weather + Calendar settings. Note that all these settings apply to both homescreen and lockscreen cLock widget.
• How can I change color of cLock / Clock widget?
As first, it is important to note, that there are two different widgets with the same digital clock layout:
Digital clock is classic digital clock widget in a new design. It is configured by Settings of the Clock app. There you can beside other settings change color of clock / date / alarm and it will apply to the widget.
cLock is brand new CM widget combining digital clock in a new design, weather forecast and calendar events. It is configured in RootBox Settings > cLock where you change font colors.
• The localization and weather isn't working
Uninstall cClock and install in again from here.
D
DPI
• How can I customize DPI?
For now there is no overall system DPI change possibility, so that u have to use the 'Settings > Hybrid settings'.
Here you should choose the stock PA-settings and then swipe to the right - this should open the PA-menu on the left.
Now choose ‘Interface’ and set at all dpi-regulators on your DPI you want to have.
Most apps also get this configuration, but some like Phone, Calculator or Chrome, have to been set manually.
That for change from ‘Interface’ to ‘Apps’ and choose the same DPI for all bright apps you can see at the top.
If you did this, you should have overall the same DPI.
If u want to have different DPI’s per app, just run free in the ‘Apps’-section.
• My device isn’t supported in playstore after changing DPI
You have to use the MultiDPI-Playstore here from MyLifeRocks10
=> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1839871
Data
• I can't find the Data toggle!?
It's renamed to "signal".
E
Expanded Desktop
• Can I use Expanded desktop on this ROM?
Yes. Enable it in RootBox Settings and switch it on or off in Power menu.
F
FC (any app)
• After update or some system changes (e.g. DPI change), my app XY is ending with FC (Forced Close) repeatidly.
Anytime you have some app ending with FC, try:
Settings > Apps > ALL > XY and click Clear data and try the app again.
Reboot to recovery > advanced > fix permissions > reboot and try the app again.
Reboot to recovery > wipe cache and advanced > wipe dalvik cache + after reboot repeat step 1 and try the app again.
Try FULL WIPE installation of the ROM.
Flashing
• How to flash this ROM?
It depends on your starting position. Here are possible options:
Option 1: Updating RootBox with stable/nightly version without major changes - Without Full Wipe
Download ROM and put it on internal sd card
Go into recovery mode
Then flash RootBox
-- install .zip from sd card > choose .zip from internal sd card
-- select RootBox.zip and flash it
Then flash Gapps
-- install .zip from sd card > choose .zip from internal sd card
-- select gapps.zip and flash it
Recovery > wipe cache partition (optional)
Recovery > advanced > wipe dalvik cache (optional)
Reboot and you are done!
Option 2: Incremental Update => That for have a look at “I”
Option 3: Coming from another ROM or updating RootBox version with major changes or having strange problems - With Full Wipe
Download ROM and put it on internal sd card
Go into recovery mode
DO A FULL WIPE!!! (This won’t effect data of internal or external sd-card)
-- wipe data/ factory reset
-- wipe cahe partition
-- advanced > wipe dalvik cache
-- mount and storage > format data/system/cache
Then flash RootBox
-- install .zip from sd card > choose .zip from internal sd card
-- Select RootBox.zip and flash it
Then flash Gapps
-- install .zip from sd card > choose .zip from internal sd card
-- select gapps.zip and flash it
Recovery > wipe cache partition
Recovery > advanced > wipe dalvik cache
Reboot and you are done!
Option 4: Coming From Stock ROM (Samsung firmware, no root)
=> Root and Backup
Download Odin (http://androidfirmwares.net/Tools)
Download root kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399)
-- just scroll down and search for your version (settings>about phone>basis version)
Flash it via Odin
-- extract .zip
-- load the root kernel in Odin (as PDA)
-- put SGSII in download mode (Vol-, Home and Powerbutton)
-- press "Start"
Phone should reboot by itself
Turn it off, then start phone in recovery mode (Vol+, Home and Powerbutton)
Go to:
-- backup and restore
-- backup to internal sd card (for sure you can choose external if have and want it there)
-- confirm it and then let do the phone the backup (can take a while [5-20 min])
=> Now start the process for flash Rom.
Download ROM and put it on internal sd card
Go into recovery mode

-- wipe data/ factory reset
-- wipe cache partition
-- advanced > wipe dalvik cache
-- mount and storage > format data/system/cache
Then flash RootBox
-- install .zip from sd card > choose .zip from internal sd card
-- select RootBox.zip and flash it
Then flash Gapps
-- install .zip from sd card > choose .zip from internal sd card
-- select gapps.zip and flash it
Recovery > wipe cache partition
Recovery > advanced > wipe dalvik cache
Reboot and you are done!
G
GAPPS
• Do I have to flash GAPPS with ROM?
Generally musst have the Gapps package!
But u only have to flash it once, because since v4.0 (also some nightlies before), the backup function got enabled.
This will save the Gapps, so that a “dirty update*” with new Rom.zip is enough.
*If u don’t know what this means, check ‘Option 1’ under the point F->Flashing (without step 4 here)
• What version of GAPPS should I download?
It's always recommended to use the newest Gapps
Latest Gapps you also can find here:
♦Dev-Host♦
But you also can have a look on the unofficial Gapps from BaNkS!, which gives you different versions.
Gapps from BaNkS!
Goo.im
• I can’t download files via Goo.im
Latest stables, nightlies and Gapps you also can find here:
♦Dev-Host♦
♦AndroidFileHost♦
I
Incremental download/update
• What is the incremental download
This download allows all devices on the the direct lower version (for example the nightly 20130301) to update only the new and necessary files from newest nightly (for example the 20130302). This means a smaller file, a faster download and a faster flash!
This is anyway an experimental feature, which isn't available for all updates and can still bring some bugs with it!
• How I do the incremental update
That for you have to look at the 'settings > update manager', search the newest nightly and check the point directly below the “normal” download. (it is only shown if u are on the directly below version!)
Download and flash it. (File is smaller than from "normal" download)
L
Lockscreen
• How do I get shortcuts/targets on my lockscreen?
RootBox Settings > Lockscreen Shortcuts or RootBox Settings > Lockscreen Shortcuts/Targets.
• How do I put cLock on my lockscreen instead of standard clock?
You have to drag clock on lockscreen. It will allow you to remove it. Then you can add cLock or any other widget instead. Note that cLock has only one setting that applies to homescreen and lockscreen.
• How do I make cLock show my Weather and Calendar on lockscreen?
Rom Control > Lockscreen > Minimize Lockscreen Challenge.
• How do I unlock faster when Minimize Lockscreen Challenge is enabled?
Rom Control > Lockscreen > Enable longpress to unlock.
N
NavBar
• How do I change NavBar Color?
Rom Control > Navigation Bar > Navigation Bar color.
• How do I enable NavBar transparency?
Rom Control > General UI > Transparency settings. See this post from descarao81 if you have problems with transparency using Nova or Apex Launcher.
Nightlies
• What is Nightly? Should I flash Nightly or latest Stable version?
There is no major difference. Nightlies are builds which are built almost “every day” for everyone to try the latest sources/features merged to RootBox.
For all users who don’t want to flash “every day” and want have less bugs as possible, please just use the stable releases.
P
Pie
• How do I enable Pie?
You activate it via “settings>RootBox settings>Pie controls”
• How do I change the Color of Pie?
Settings > Hybrid settings > Interface.
• How make I Pie open faster
Just set ‘quick’ in “settings>RootBox>Pie controls>Pie style”
S
Statusbar
• How do I enable Statusbar transparency?
Rom Control > General UI > Transparency settings. See this post from descarao81 if you have problems with transparency using Nova or Apex Launcher.
• How do I change the Statusbar behaviour?
Rom Control > General UI > Statusbar behaviour.
Here u have different options if/how the statusbar is/becomes visible for you.
• What means the fast toggle for the Statusbar Toggles?
This will allow you to swipe from the right or left side of your statusbar (depending on what you choose) and it will go to your quick settings bypassing any notifications.
• Everytime after reboot I got a “Low Storage” Message!?
It’s a problem which appears when the app ‘Viber’ is installed. Just move ‘Viber’ to sd card.
That for go to “settings>apps>Viber”
U
USB
• I’m not able to connect my device as Mass-Storage to PC
Try deleting data from media storage. That for go to “settings>apps>all>media storage”

Stock kernel
RootBox uses CM kernel from CyanogenMod as a stock kernel. This kernel is very stable and battery friendly and stock kernel is always recommended mainly for users that do not have special demands. Please, remember that RootBox is multi-device ROM and it needs multi-device kernel. Creator of this ROM even do not own S2 and he cannot support alternative kernels for this device in any way. Therefore stock kernel is only kernel with the official support from Bajee11.
Download
Thanks to hawkerpaul’s knowledge is Hannibal226 providing stock kernels for selected builds here and here.
Non-Stock kernels
There are many RootBox users with S2 devices using non-stock kernels. Most popular and compatible are Dorimanx and Siyah kernels.
Dorimanx
Dorimanx kernel is developed by Dorimanx (note that he is also RootBox user)
For current RootBox builds use 9.X branch
Changelogs, download links and other important info on development thread OP
Support, Q&A, discussion on non-development thread (Please, consider to ask there for support, if you have really kernel specific questions or issues, like STweaks, OC/UV, BLN, cron, etc.)
Siyah
Genuine Siyah kernel is developed by Elite developer gokhanmoral. There is also non-development thread for Siyah. This original version of Siyah is currently not compatible with current RootBox releases, as gokhanmoral is working on other things according to his priorities.
NEW Siyah v4/5 patched with vsync + mali available here: [Kernel][JellyBean] ♦ Siyah vsync v4/5 ♦ [Mali patched][gokhanmoral,mcm811,Rush85]

Hope you bring constantly new builds.
Nice also... The new feature in telephone app is included... Transparent in call screen, cool.
This as info for all... All unofficial nighlys from fusionjack works without issues. As kernel I used dori 9.26.
I can not say that in this rom anywhere is slow... Apps open fast, also drawer etc. I used nova pay version.

The new true view in camera also works fine, also smart capture.
Edit
The only one is that the poweramp app closed if they start. But googly Musik and the poweramp widget works fine and play the music.

Anyone with gmail wakelocks on 20130524v2 .
I flash the 20130531 build of fusionjack and the wakelocks goes ...
Note:
Although the file name is unofficial, the source is still the same. It built from the Rootbox repo.
If I made some additional changes like working around the RIL problem, I note it on the top of the changelog. So be sure to read the changelog.
The rest, whether it is a nasty bug or a cool feature, it could be from CM, AOKP or Rootbox itself.
The rom is developed only by Bajee, not by me. So all credits go to Bajee.

By flashing the attached zip file, you will gain 3.2 GB of space in internal storage.
This script has been modified from ninekaw9's script
The system partition size after flash is 800 MB.
Internal storage size is 13.5 GB.
Warning:
Repartitioning is a completely optional step. If you are not sure what you are doing, stop reading now.
You can't install touchwiz ROMs without restoring original partition table (see mentioned thread)
Each and everything from your phone will be erased in the process (except external storage)
EFS may get corrupted (In my case, it did. I restored it, and everything went back to normal)
I am not responsible if anything happens to your phone
Steps:
Backup everything
Install philz recovery
Flash provided repartition zip
After recovery reboots, go to mounts and storage, format '/system', '/cache', '/preload', '/data & /data/media'
Proceed with installing the ROM
You can flash recovery of choice after step 4.
P.S. I have attached philz recovery because goo.im is down.

Known issues:
Face unlock doesn't work (Common AOSP Issue)
Bluetooth calling with some car kits doesn't work (Common AOSP Issue)
To increase wallpaper quality:
Wallpaper must be 720x1280 (or lower) and must be in jpg format
Copy & rename wallpaper to /sdcard/Wallpaper.jpg
Reboot (everytime you change the wallpaper)
FYI, this works around android compression of the wallpaper
To increase album art quality:
Resize album art to 480x480 (you may use this utility)
Delete /sdcard/Android/data/albumthumbs
Delete media player album art cache
FYI, this prevents android compression of the album art

Thank you for staying around and I am downloading now to test your awesome work!

Should we use TWRP to install?
I just tried it with the latest philz and I get a lot of FCs on Start.
I wiped everything (Data,System,Cache,Dalvik)

What I'm looking for is an unrooted stock cm11 Rom like on.the new one+one phone. Full of features with no root as I can then use my banking app and sky go

I can teach you to build it yourself, but I can't provide builds because I don't think there will be much audience for it.
It takes me 1 full hour to upload a single build.
As for 1+1, I don't think I'll be able to port the whole ROM because of the differences of hardware.
Many people think that since it's using cm, it will be easy to port. But porting it is like porting any other proprietary ROM.

Don't think that could be because of recovery. I was using twrp from start, but this is not much different from Cyanogenmod.
I think that your download has corrupted.

Most ROMs use open source camera module since some time.
For some people it is unstable, not quiet as fast. Also the frame rates in videos is not always optimal.
So I switched back to use Samsung's proprietary camera module which I personally and most people think is faster, stabler.
By faster I mean the responsiveness, shutter speed.

this is what i was waiting for thanks a lot sir for this
My precise N7100 has been recently "lost in action" so I'm in dilemma what to buy next.
The best candidate, the only phone fully suitable for my needs is the ... well ... N7100.
I was really sad reading The OmniRom HOMEMADE is no more and I was thinking about some other devices like N9005, Nexus 5 D821 or LG Pro 2.
Now we have another potentially great candidate becoming the primary ROM for N7100!

Lock screen notifications is already there so no active display.
Multiwindow / App circle sidebar ? Since omni hasn't merged it, so no.
I'll only pick it after they merge it.
Regarding committing my work to cm, I'll do it soon, but I won't be maintaining a thread.

Maybe the settings backup corrupted.
Delete data folder from external sdcard.
This will delete all your titanium backup settings. (Not backup)

I was waiting for someone to ask this
This is now my full & main project.
I'll continue maintaining omnirom & soon cm.
All the device tree changes that I make to this ROM will be submitted to omnirom & cm as well.
I will not maintain thread for cm.
But I will maintain thread for omnirom, but I would like if someone could take over the thread.

Same thing here. Luckily, I fixed it.
Just download titanium backup (hopefully you already have it) and freeze DSP manger.
Install Viper4Android to replace DSP or just install another version of DSP Manager.?

[ROM][GT-P52XX][UNOFFICIAL][5.1.1] CyanogenMod 12.1

Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1 for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, ...
* You flash this at your own risks
*/
About CM
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Important information
You need a recent TWRP version to flash this ROM.
Installation
First time installing or coming from another ROM
Copy ROM to SDCard
Copy Houdini to SDCard
Copy GApps to SDCard
Boot into recovery
Backup EFS partition
Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Dalvik Cache + System + Cache + Data
Install ROM
Install Houdini
Install GApps
Reboot
First start takes a long time
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 12.1
Copy ROM to SDCard
Boot into recovery
Install ROM
Reboot
[OPTIONAL] Converting filesystem to F2FS (thanks @michiil)
The ROM has F2FS support. You may want to use it instead of the default (EXT4).
This will delete ALL files/data from your tab.
What you will need: A working PC and a working USB cable.
Install the most recent Recovery
Download the most recent Recovery from the second post. Flash the zip file in recovery. Back in the main menu press Reboot > Recovery
Format Data and Cache to F2FS
Wipe > choose Cache > repair or change file system > change file system > F2FS > Swipe to Confirm
Go back and repeat the same steps with Data. I got some error messages when formatting Data but they don't seem to be a problem.
Back in the main menu press Reboot > Recovery
Install Rom + Houdini + Gapps
Connect your tab to your PC and copy the zip files on the tab.
Flash the files, reboot and enjoy :good:
How to get back to EXT4
You will again loose all files/data on the tab.
Just repeat Step 2 but use EXT4 instead of F2FS.
What's working

MHL
Secure videos/DRM (Widevine, Google Play Movies...)

SELinux (disabled)
You tell me
How to root
Go to 'Settings/About tablet'
Tap 7 times on 'Build number'
Go back
Go to 'Developer options'
Tap on 'Root access'
Select 'Apps only' ('Apps and ADB' if you plan to use it in adb shell)
How to help
When something is not working correctly, in addition to common informations, I may ask you to provide logs. There are different kind of logs and it's not always easy to get all of them. For this, you can use SysLog (available on F-Droid or Google Play.
There is currently a bug in the app. Download it from AndroidFileHost. Use this patch if you want to compile it yourself:
Code:
diff --git a/app/src/main/java/com/tortel/syslog/utils/Utils.java b/app/src/main/java/com/tortel/syslog/utils/Utils.java
index 40d41b8..80ae55c 100644

Log.v(TAG, "Path: "+path);
//Make the directory
- if(!outPath.mkdirs() && !outPath.isDirectory()){

}
Make sure to root device before using this app.
To get the logs:
Start SysLog
Click on 'TAKE LOG'
Once log is taken, SysLog will try to share the resulting file, just cancel
Send me the file /sdcard/SysLog/[YYYY-MM-DD_HH.mm]/[YYYY-MM-DD_HH.mm].zip

Note
There is currently a bug with HW video decoding/encoding: you can't have both. By default, the ROM provides HW video encoding but partial HW video decoding.
If you want full HW video decoding, you can flash hw_decode.zip (you will however loose HW video encoding). Fixed in alpha 11.
A bug appeared in Alpha 13 causing voice calls (in P5200) to be muted. It will be fixed in Beta 2. In the meantime, you can flash audio_test3.zip after flashing the ROM. Fixed in beta 2.

Hi! Glad to see a new thread by you!
Just some Thoughts - in "/common-overlay/frameworks/base/core/res/res/xml/power_profile.xml"
Code:
<item name="battery.capacity">2100</item>
maybe 4000?
and
<array name="cpu.speeds">
max value for us is 16000000 and min value is 800000 i think like this:
<array name="cpu.speeds">
<value>800000</value>
<value>933000</value>
<value>1200000</value>
<value>1333000</value>
<value>1600000</value>
</array>
And for Intel platform we need 2 more files: thermal_throttle_config.xml
thermal_sensor_config.xml but i dunno how correctly it will be used by CM frameworks...
P.S. for open\close reaction on case we can try add <bool name="config_lidControlsSleep">true</bool>
Just flashed Alpha1 built for P5200 and camera works now
thx nels83

I don't think so. This would require CyanogenMod changes (if it is even possible).
Thank you for this great ROM.
Is it possible to make the magnetic Sensors work? If i open or close my Bookcover the Display doesn't turn on or off.

It seems we are not alone: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=166828 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59934854&postcount=5133
I noticed some bugs concerning fonts, it may be related.

These two are hard to try for me as I don't have a P5200 device (but I will investigate). Maybe @Angel_666 could take a look ?

This function is not included in CyanogenMod (afaik). You can try to calibrate the magnetic sensor and install Magnetic Lock from the Play Store.
Flashed this afternoon and I am loving it so far. Can really tell it's been liberated from TW as performance is vastly superior. Haven't really encountered new bugs or anything. Did try to mess with the magnetic lock apps but with zero success. Is it even possible to bake functionality like this into CM?
Thank you so much for putting this together!! Has breathed a lot of new life into this aging device.
I had honestly given up on the tab 3 10.1 haha (as is obvious by lack of pimpdroid updates), I was about a day away from selling it. Good work my friend
Its really awsome to see something new here i will flash it as soon as i get home.
If you need someone to do some testing just ask me since i have a 5200.
EDIT: goddamn thats smooth. its like a whole new tablet
Thrilled
This is just amazing! I've been looking in the development thread almost every day this year. From the start of April it's been less often and I almost most hope.
So imagine my surprise and joy! It's like a brand newer tablet! Thanks :good:

Hi, look nice, but menus in customisation don't work. When I click on Nav bar or status bar options button, nothing happened
Dsp manager is crashing on both opening the app itself and with every track change in music players.

I love the ROM but whenever I play music in Google Play Music I get "DSP manager has stopped", is it not included in the ROM?

Honestly, DSP has been causing issues on so many devices. With marshmallow Omnirom (creator of DSPManager) ditched support for it and as a result it has became very unstable. Regardless though, I will be replacing DSPManager with a modified very of AudioFX by CM that will be fully compatible with the ROM
