Looks like the verification in the update-script is written for the wrong model.

In case this issue still persists - Did you download the correct file?

If you read his post you can see the filename is mango which is the codename for the mini pro.
Is the recovery image you flashed for the mango device or the anzu device?

my phone is a SK17a.
above, I flashed rom using Flashtool to downgrade and root my SK17a, and installed 5.0.2.7 recovery.
Now, in any android version (2.3.3; 2.3.4 or 4.0.4) when I want to install by recovery, rom 11.0-cm-20131128-NIGHTLY-LX-mango.zip but that's where it shows me that error ir recovery.
As you can see, or rename my device, I do not know the route to get.
I'll take a photo of the error when it could be useful.

To me it looks like you've flashed a custom recovery for the anzu device onto your mango device.
That's why it won't accept the mango file when you try to flash it.
You can fix the recovery.img or remove the device authentication in the zip files update-script.

I agree with arkedk. And I know that you need to use the kernel that was created by FXP for CM11. The kernel that they created for CM11 has already a CWM included. Choose the FXP kernel that was created for mango

Can help me?

My best bet is u didn't even flash the included kernel in the ROM zip.
The included kernel in mike's cm11 doesn't use old cwm 5.0.2.7 like in your screenshot, it uses newer cwm 6.0.x.x

With your locked bootloader forget cm, you can't install it. Either unlock it, or install cwm using the xparts app from the playstore and flash a rom for locked bootloader

Fastboot Mode Flashing Methode
Flashing process with fastboot mode is more easy instead using flash_image methode.
You just need fastboot and adb binary, you cen get here: View attachment 605489
But, this methode just available if you have the working system..
this is the step for flashing recovery, boot, system, etc. with fastboot:
go to command prompt and type:
Code:
[B]adb reboot bootloader[/B]
and your device will reboot to fastboot mode.
After that you can start to flashing what partition do you wan't to flash, example:
Flashing boot:
Code:
[B]fastboot flash boot boot.img[/B]
Flashing recovery:
Code:
[B]fastboot flash recovery recovery.img[/B]
Flashing system:
Code:
[B]fastboot flash system system.img[/B]
Make sure you type the right partition name and right *.img name..
Or you can use the flash_image methode in your device, you can get here:View attachment flash_image.zip
For the people that have problem with custom recovery, you can flash the original recovey with fastboot mode.
here the original recovery file:
View attachment FM6-recovery.7z
Happy Flashing...

Nope. Could not manage to flash it. I too think it is failing because we are not on stock recovery. First time i tried to flash it, it restarted to recovery and got stuck there. After that i tried running the flashing tool when the recovery was on, and after 70% or so, it gave me this error.
Is it possible to get a update.zip for the same? Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry for the delay, for if it is useful to most people, we would have to download this rom and install it with a fw 42 that has CWM, or a fw 58 with CWM.
Install it as a common rom and it is not necesarry to do wipe.

Offtopic: you come from Spain, right?
i was there for 2 weeks in 2011, in Blanes & Barca
I want to ask because I think it is celar from what I can see that with this procedure it is impossible to upgrade the kernel without having unlock bootloader.
So this mod is basically the .62 firmware but with older .42 kernel with known issues about restarts and battery drain.
Otherwise it should require flash with flashtool or unlocked bootloader right?

[SOLVED] Stuck at Sony Logo whenever i try new ROM

Hello,
Currently i am using NEO V on ICS Spacious,Smooth & light ROM with Custom v3 kernel by Sharul Seth, i have an unlocked bootloader.
Whenever i try to install any other ROM like MIUI or any other ICS ROM by some other developer, my phone gets stuck at SONY LOGO for more than 10 minutes and i have to again n again switch back to my old custom ROM through CMW, i don't know what is the problem so i need suggestions from you guys, that is there a problem with the ROM or something else.
BTW i follow the steps correctly as mentioned like wiping dalvik cache, partition, data etc
still the phone takes forever to boot up and i have to switch back to my old custom ROM through CMW
*I was't able to find any threads with similar problem as mine therefore i posted a new one and moderators are free to delete this if they can answer by sending me link to some other forum.
Thank you in advance
how about trying to flash a standalone kernel first and then the rom of your choice? coz sometimes the kernels that comes from roms are not very friendly towards other roms i've been using this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521309
maybe is because the kernel that you are using is only for that custom rom, MIUI uses NE kernel or his own kernel inside zip file and aokp roms uses special aokp kernel

1) tick "no final verification" when selecting fw in flashtool.
2) that zip needs to be flashed trough CWM recovery, after flashing the rom.

got it. thanks!
the rom works perfectly now.. only left with not installing the su binary, which was linked in that aroma thread before (under v2 how to). but i think the TS removed v2 how to, and i didn't get the chance to install the su binary yet. i don't know how it will effect my phone, but it works just fine now (don't know how will it be better with the su binary, though)

Hello,
Currently i am using NEO V on ICS Spacious,Smooth & light ROM with Custom v3 kernel by Sharul Seth, i have an unlocked bootloader.

I had a similar problem - all custom ROMs I tried got stuck at the Sony logo - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1789441. For me, it helped to install this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679771. Spacious,Smooth & Light now boots!

[Q] Issue with flashing the Xperia S ICS CM9

I'm having a bit of a problem flashing this rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782771) onto my X10i. I've tried both the FXP and championswimmer kernels with the same abort message ("assert failed", then a couple of lines of text). Does anyone know the cause of this problem and/or a fix?
Installed the kernels from the very latest Flashtool (0.9.0.0), and I'm pretty sure the phone is rooted (I used to run doomkernel v6 medium overclock). Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Also, having a bit of a problem of mass storage from champswimmer's kernel. My computer seems to fail to find drivers for it whenever I connect it for mass storage and doesn't find it either. Anyone know about this as well?

Install a cm7 rom first, follow op instructions. Configure and reboot the rom and now you have cm7 as base, now you can install any ics rom.

Hi Panzerfaust,
I've been expecting the same issue, but then i realized that i didn't have my Bootloader UNLOCKED, so i went to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254087, i downgraded back to 2.3.3 and then UNLOCK my bootloader using the information of header post of provided link
"If you aren't keeping your current device configuration (because of flashing another rom after unlocking bootloader or anything else) the simplest way to unlock is to flash stock 2.3.3 rom, root it and use the bl unlock plugin from latest flashtool"

Don't think that's the issue. I've managed to install custom kernels and roms without having to flash the file for when the bootloader is unlocked, and it's overclocked as well.

CM7 can be found from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911364. You probably need to unlock your bootloader first, though, or you won't be able to flash the custom FXP kernels
