Restore the efs backup you took before formatting efs. No backup then you need a better service centre, nothing you can do yourself.

[Q] [Help] Galaxy s2 no signal / IMEI problem

Hello All, some time ago I'm walking with a problem bothering me now and taking my sleep because the IMEI of my cell phone was the generic because some months ago I decided to delete the efs folder and let the phone itself regenerate this folder ..
But as I was a beginner yet this season, I knew I had to be backed up, well, with all that time I was using this IMEI generic without worry because the network was normal, and a week ago I started have problems, not taking over the network.
So I started searching around on the internet in xda forum and found some useful topics, but nothing helped me, I search on my phone and found a folder efs lost on the memory card, I decided to put it in place of which was with the IMEI and generic BINGO, the IMEI again the original bad no network yet :/
I was wondering if I could be in error code CSC because I'm using the stock rom 4.1.2 complete with modem and everything, that test version remember?
detail: i'm brazilian.
if anyone can help me .. with the generic IMEI phone is working, and the ORIGINAL it does not work .. the phone is not locked and the IMEI is not blacklisted .. I thank those who read

Problem with IMEI for my Galaxy S 2

:fingers-crossed:
I hav bought Galaxy S 2 (M250K) from Korea and flashed JB version of India. This helped me a lot for all other my previous phones.
But one Galaxy S 2, I'm facing problem. it's showing IMEI in the form of 0049... etc and I'm not able to use my SIM. It's showing signal but can't use.
I tried many ways like using GS II repair using busy box ... It didn't work.
I request you to give a solution for my problem
waiting for your reply ...
Thanks in Advance,
Srinath K.
Hello Srinath ,
First of all I suggest you ask in the dedicated forum, as it's not a general Q.
Have you made any efs/imei backup ?

[Q] I have a wrong IMEI in my S3 GT-I9300 : 004999...

Hello and good evening everyone
Please I need help because I'm really stuck. I have a GT-I9300 smartphone Samsung Galaxy S3. I manually installed XXUFME7 Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and everything worked fine until I had a problem with "safe mode". I did everything to exit, but I could not. So I decided to go back and install the official 4.1.2 Jelly bean. I did, but it did not solve my problem. I decided to still reinstall version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. But I find that I have no network. The wireless works fine but I can not call or receive communication. Checking, I see that my original IMEI has changed and now starts with 0049 when he was beginning by 3554 .... So all these manipulations made me lose my IMEI. In addition, I never saved the efs directory of my smartphone. What can I do to get the IMEI of origin of my smartphone?
My /efs folder is empty !!! Why ?
Thank you very much for any help

I have never had to restore my imei without a backup...so I strongly encourage you to do a full xda search of lost imei. I did and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-recover-imei-9-steps-t1264021 I belive this might be all you need. I also Google searched how and I believe all Samsung devices use the nv_data.bin in case you were wondering if the thread on the SII was applicable.
