If you feel you need to as a question from a fellow form member, about an issue you are having with the rom and ART is enabled, please start the thread with 'I am using ART and:"

Not sure if this is a known issue or if its just me but video playback freezes sometimes. YouTube,online video through the browser..it would stop..load..video would play but the picture is frozen.like I said not sure if its a known issue or if its just me but wanted to point that out. Also did a clean install BTW completely did a full wipe. None the less great ROM! This will be my current daily ROM

Great ROM , torch doesn't work I think. FC's on me and toggle doesn't work.

For what it's worth, torch and toggle in quick settings are working fine for me.

Sweet to see Gummy rom here so early! Will test soon, also does this rom have any build optimizations or optimizations for performance and battery? Great job!

Optimizations are in bionic mostly. We don't really use anything to raise "benchmark" scores. As for battery we just use a kernel we found to work and work well. You can flash other third party kernels and see what works for you.

Yay, gummy has arrived!
OMG....Gummy was my favorite rom on my s1. Didn't know this project is still alive :laugh:
Is it still NYAN CAT bootanimation?? Simply love that bootanimation :silly:

Well since no one else is saying anything..
The ROM works flawlessly. I don't use Bluetooth so can't report on that. Generally just a really smooth experience. I like the dark theme too!

More coming to the theme. and also we should have a lot more wallpapers soon. also m7vzw support is coming tonight
Is the download link down? Won't work for me.

Something tricky about the link, at least using chrome on the phone. Had to copy the address manually to the adressbar. Try using this link http://androidhosting.org/Devs/Gummy/m7/

I've been wanting to give this ROM a try. I've heard some great things about Gummy. The first post doesn't list compatibility, is this one already Sprint compatible, or is it just WWE for U/UL models?

How is wifi broken? Does it work at all? Did you install another kernel?
BTW I use an S4 myself (although on the the AT&T variant) no wifi issues here
Welcome back to the game fellas. Loved gummy on the dx/2/2we. :goof:
Doesn't work at all. Won't show any networks. Did not flash anything but the rom and gapps. I rarely use other kernels.

Can anyone confirm or deny this on the VZW S4?
Networks work for me but not WiFi

WiFi won't turn on for me... In settings if I tick WiFi to turn it on it never let's me try to connect!!
Has anyone tried flashing a different kernel to see if WiFi will work? BTW glad you brought this to our Verizon S4, thanks!
Yea, WiFi does not work with the Verizon version. Will try another kernel.

My wifi works with ktoonsez kernel
Thanks dev for another cool rom!
.
Ktoonsez 10-8-13 worked to get WiFi for me!!
Just my observations:
1) was able to get WiFi working with ktoonez 10-8 as well. Restored my settings. Some time later when I tried to re-open ktweaker app, it now force closes each time (not a huge deal, KT kernel not officially supported)
2) lock screen settings; I am able to set different slider shortcuts, but when I try to assign a system icon image, get FC.
3) I don't see an option to turn off soft key LED's (menu and back button at bottom of phone).
4) for those who give this a try, just download superuser from playstore for root access.

I tried to duplicate the lock screen target fc but haven't been able to, logcats are helpful when reporting fc's...also there is no option currently to turn off the hardkey back lights...we will look into the broken kernel, as well as the lockscreen targets issue
Sent from my SGH-I337 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
Try the dev modules: these were created for the dev edition phone to get wifi to work on ROMS because of different baseband. I will try later and report back (I have a dev phone).
EDIT: Dev Modules didn't work!
Can we have this closed while we figure out why WiFi is broken? We pulled the builds until then. Sorry.

I've tested this off and on for the last two weeks. Since I've had to "borrow" my wife's note 2 I don't have as much testing in as my galaxy s3
Gummy on the s3 is pretty stable but I had fewer issues on the Note 2. I think it's pretty stable on the note 2 as well.
I've tested it on VRAMC3 baseband.
Only issue I've encountered was the camcorder locked up once.
Oh one other issue that previous gummy users will notice. Kejar took out the nyan cat boot splash. I miss that.

Are they flash based? 4.4 doesn't support flash if so. Otherwise get a log of the crash.

I do not believe it will be added. Maybe at some point but its not a priority. We have something special planned.

* Status Bar Mods
* Hardware Key Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls

Awesome rom. Gummy rom is the only AOSP rom on htc one that doesnt have home button lag for me. I dont know why but all other AOSP roms have a delay in going to the home screen after pressing home.
Good job.
EDIT: Is there no double press home for recents?
Wow nice to see this rom 4 m7 I try for 4 sure!

The long press back button for menu doesn't work in Google play music. But it does work everywhere else.

It should have the 3 dot menu.

Sound is crackling and popping for me when I have earphones plugged in.

It has the 3 dot menu when you are in the album(the menu where it says start radio or add to library). The menu I am looking for is the settings menu for Google play music. Its the menu for playback quality and equalizer. This menu doesn't show up.

I feel dumb. The settings are in the slider menu (hamburger menu) on the left side of the app's screen. Man I feel dumb.
FYI...I tested GPS and Bluetooth in my car and they are both working fine.
Thanks for this great ROM. :thumbup:
