We think we can all agree the AOSP Gallery shipping with CM currently is severely lacking. We sought to address that.
GalleryNext is our answer and today we made the beta application available on the Play Store.

There's not a setting to do that within the settings of gallery next but when u crop a pic or something u can set the defaults so it always uses gallery next

In dolphin web browser do the following settings to download
select->more->settings->Dolphin settings->user agent->change the ANDROID to DESKTOP
Then download.............It will definitely work

I get some message about the app beeing intended for Samsung devices and that it is only a demo.... but it works, it seems.
Download vlingo from the market, they wrote it for Samsung, at least it fully works.

A pre-release version of Facebook Home has leaked ahead of the planned 12th April Play Store release date (also the release date for the HTC First 'Facebook phone').
The build itself (pulled from a pre-release HTC First ROM) seems to be rather buggy and incomplete (I can't get 'Chat Heads' working for example), but it's interesting to have a play with to see what Facebook has in store for us later this week.
In order to use the leak, you need an Android device with a maximum resolution of 1280x768 and the ability to completely uninstall your existing Facebook app. This is important, as the leaked APKs are re-signed and can't just be installed over the top of an existing installation. This will automatically exclude some devices which have Facebook installed in the base ROM. If you're on a Nexus device you're good! Even if you do have Facebook in ROM, provided you are rooted there are workarounds - i'll detail these in the comments. If you have any problems installing post below and i'll help if I can.
The leak itself is 3 APKs - the main 'katana' Facebook app: DOWNLOAD (ROMraid), the now-integrated-with-your-SMS 'orca' Messenger app: DOWNLOAD (ROMraid) (orca) and the 'home' Launcher shell app: DOWNLOAD (ROMraid). Simply install all 3 and you're set - bear in mind you do so at your own risk!

The home apk won't do anything if you use any other katana apk.

saw this at GSMArena and installed it on my phone. Loved the photosphere! Btw, is this better than the stock camera app of SP? (in terms of image processing,general use) Dont have the time to test the two.

Yes. Ur correct. I asked the " Stupid " Question because in another thread one guy ( OP ) posted this same app before some months . That app need to change the Build.Prop. But he does not mention that in OP at there.. Thats y i ask here...:laugh::laugh:

Same for me, fc whenever I try to open settings.
Same here. Anyway, this is great app. Photos looks good, but I can't open settings.
I just would like to know if there is setting to upscale quality, no other settings needed.
I downloaded it took play store n the app works fine but force closes on pressing settings button, I'm on CM11 for galaxy s2... plz help

Edit: As @avmabrie pointed out. This problem can be easily fixed without using Xposed. Just freezing the Gallery app is enough.
As you may already know that when you click the picture thumbnail in Snap camera (CM's default camera), it will open the last picture in the ugly Gallery app. It's very annoying to me. So I created this module.
This module will allow you to choose any apps to open the picture instead of the default Gallery.

Not to be mean I respect all work by xda developers but this fix is simple without using a xposed module. Download titanium backup. Click back/restore. Scroll until you find the gallery app (should be highlighted in red since it's a system app. Options will pop up to what you would want to do with it and simply select freeze. After it freezes you can pick what gallery app should be chosen when you take a picture and want to review it

Didn't try it. But it's hardcoded in the app to launch Gallery.

i had frozen gallery app but when i click on thumbnails in snapcamera it still won't ask me to choose gallery app (i would prefer Google photos), any idea how to fix this?
I've literally just finished freezing 3 apps using SD Maid pro. Done in less than a minute.
