Now if you want, you have Black, Blue, Green, Orange and Red variants!

I created them for our Xperia SP (and all XHDPI Xperia 720x1280 screens)
Work on rooted 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 Sony and custom roms.
Always make nandroid backup before flashing anything!
To install bootanimation:
1. Put your chosen zip in your SD card,
2. Reboot recovery and flash zip,
Restart and enjoy!
To uninstall and recover default bootanimation:
Simply delete "bootanimation.zip" located in data / local
To manually install:
1. Extract "bootanimation.zip" from your chosen zip,
2. Put it in your SD card.
3. With a root explorer, move it in data / local,
4. Check file permissions: RW- R-- R--
Save and reboot...
If you want to use my work, just ask my permission...

I kept original sound bootanimation in zip but I think it only works on Sony roms (no on CM based roms)...

I don't like bootsound but I kept it. Delight it works for you!
Remember that now, in system/media, you will need to put again bootanimation.zip after each update.
data/local is more easier but actually the sound is lost.

Confirmed. In /system/media bootsound works. I wonder why not from /data/local

Wow! Its working on eXistenZ... And i put it on media folder... No complaints... I dont knw why we should move it to data folder cz i dont know which update all are talking about for data folder and stuff...

Because these are made for xhdpi device with resolution 720*1280
So it would look messy on any mdpi or hdpi device

There's a problem with permissions and things and don really understand. I use ES File Explorer and don't have to modify that when replacing system files, check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1986934

As i already told.. i set the perm rw--r--r/0644 after reboot, i found my settings bcg is grainy(kind of cool) but when im going to set the theme, bro complete darkness lol i only see my status bar..

I suggest re-downloading. Could be corrupted.
Also check size doesn't change when you move .apk from your sd-card to system, if it does, start over.

I recently switched from AOKP to CyanogenMod and the one thing I really missed was the color weather icons on the lock screen. So I searched for a way to change this, One way was to use adb, and pull your framework, edit the framework-res.apk. The only thing that sucked about this was That you had to relogin to your google account after and also you needed a computer. I tend to not use a comptuer a lot so I wanted a zip. Most of this was not done by me I just did some research and had help from some people, but I want to share this

i am on brainsrom..I replaced mms its working but the phone,contact,settings n all are not working can u pls tel me like for this file i should place ur apk n so on??pls
Make a nandroid back before proceeding may cause bootloop
Try replacing SemcPhone.apk with phone .apk
Rename the phone.apk into SemcPhone.apk
Set permissions
Reboot
I'm not sure whether it will work or not because I made this using cm9

Btw the messaging works on stock as per a user
Rest others haven't been tested and I can't test it cause I'm on cm9

Do one thing
Try placing mms.apk, phone.apk, in the system/apps folder
Don't replace or delete anything else from system/apps
Set permissions rw-r--r--
reboot
Let me know if it works :v

i compared bootanimation.zip uploaded here with bootanimation.zip inside sola,
but it is different,

It didn't work for me with Xperia U that way, but it is working after I made some changes with the resolution and fps and created a flashable zip with proper file - permission signing! It is amazing! Download Here! [ ]

Well, just download the original one, open bootanimation.zip and change 480 800 on first line to 540 960. It worked well for me on Xperia P. Thanks dude, nice found!!

Well, just delete the 'part #' folders that you dont want and edit desc.txt. Then the animation will only show what you want.

I meant that it would look more awesome if there was a revolving circle(signifying loading...) around the arc reactor(the triangle) instead of just a static glowing circle with glowing suit in the section of the animation where the suit is displayed with the arc reactor and a circle.

it is not working on xperia p . i change the line in txt and push it and change the permission . after reboot . its direct go to home screen . no bootanimation ,.
You can install it with Rom Toolbox/Boot animations section just by browsing the Zip file,selecting it and installing it.
or you can just push it to System/Media and setting right permissions : rwx-r--r--
