[APP][XPOSED] GoSMS Xposed module extended features - Xposed Framework Modules

I always would decompile and change the smali code on the latest GoSMS app and recompile and run it. I shared it once on XDA and had to take it down as XDA received a personal request from GoSMS to not host any modified apps on XDA.
So, to make things easier i made an xposed module to do the same things. Now updating the app with these features is a piece of cake. Plus, im technically not hosting a moddified GoSMS apk. Im hosting an Xposed module Only downside is yes you must be rooted and have Xposed installed. Where with a modified apk, no root is needed and anyone could use it.
TO INSTALL:
Download the attached apk to your device
Install the apk
Enable the module in Xposed framework
Reboot
THIS IS COMPATIBLE WITH:
ALL VERSIONS AND FUTURE UPDATES SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE
CHANGELOG:
Version 1.0.1:
- Added option to close main window
Version 1.0.2:
- Double click send option will not close main window when "close main window" option is enabled.
Version 1.0.5
- Made compatible with all versions of GoSMS (unless major update to GoSMS)

Wasn't finished with the thread guys. Sorry. Lol. Hit "submit" too quickly

how about on stock message? it would be really nice if we can set it on stock messages..

Happen to know if you can make the private box work on 4.4.2? Gosms has no priority in messages so everything shows up in your normal inbox

@elesbb,
great idea! Working very good on my S4.
Can you add an option to also close whole app GoSms except just to go out of conversation?
Thanks in advance.

I'm the master of laziness lol still procrastinating to do my homework plus I gotta clean my room lol.
But yes I can add that. However, if you press "menu > exit" the app closes. Then if you click the notification or the reply button on the widget, the main app stays closed unless you open it again. But I'll add it either way

Thank you for replay. What I meant is that when I go into GoSms only to send an message to a person and not to reply to an received message it will be great that after I send the message I automatically exit app. I assume we understand each other.
Thank you one more time.

go to this thread and get the lockring kit (theres 2 one for 2.3.3 and one for 2.3.4)
then you need to do this "Inside Idlescreen_Base.apk, decompile Lockscreen_shortcut.m10, in the editor tab expand the last item and you'll see Lockscreen_Shortcut, highlight it and under Known Properties make Visible = 0."
and thats thanks to triscuit1983

Something like this?
In terms of the carrier I used the QPST method a long time ago to remove the carrier banner. There are probably other methods but I haven't searched for any since mine is gone.
Before I give you any instructions on removing the time, are you familiar with M10Editor.exe?
That is exactly what I'm looking for. Not familiar with m10. Is it simple enough to figure out? I think I can manage.
Edit... Ok, just looked it up. I will download it and play around with it later today.

Go to the above link, I made a mini tutorial on using M10Editor.exe, it doesn't relate to what your doing, but the idea is the same.
Here is how you get rid of the time and date:
Load Idlescreen_Base.apk.
In the m10 files tab highlight 3rd to last item (Lockscreen_time.m10) and click Decompile/Show button.
In the editor tab expand the last item until you see lockscreen_time.
Highlight lockscreen_time and look to the right in the editor window.
Under "Known Properties" make Visible = 0.
Go back to the start tab and click save file.
Push through adb or put in a flashable zip and flash.
thanks, I've been asking for this for a while now.

Rook with Terminal Emulator so bare with me....
You hit the enter button after each entry, right? When I first opened it it asked for superuser permission which I granted. I then typed su and hit enter. It went from a $ to a # so then I proceeded to the next string of text and hit enter and it said 'killed' but it's still in the notification bar. What did I do wrong here as i'm sure it's my fault.

[Request] Disable text edit box in landscape mode

I think many people already understand what my problem is... The ridiculous text edit box in landscape mode that makes it almost unusable. I feel landscape mode is better than portrait sometimes but this makes it worse. Anyway to get rid of it? I didn't have it before putting a custom rom but now it's always there no matter what keyboard I try.

Nope we were asking for a mod to disable the text edit mode as we turn our phone into landscape mode.
You see as we turn to landscape it becomes a text editor instead of just typing to the application.
We were asking for something to disable it. Not to disable predictive text.

I just checked it on Snapchat v5.0.14.0 and it is working just fine. Double check your modules to ensure its enabled. If it is, toggle it off then back on and reboot. Still not working, check if there are any errors in the xposed installer log. Also attached a copy of the log (pressing menu key will give you option to save log to SD card)
red underline
This is great! Exactly what I wanted and works perfectly on sc v5!
One thing, a few people have said there are red underlines under incorrectly spely words :/ is it possible to fix this? If not that's fine!!
Cheers for your work!
This is great! Always wanted this! Create a Donation App and publish it on Google Play because this is defiently worth something?

Could definately use the money. But what do you mean by "create a donation app" the app already is free, why would anyone pay for it on the store?

Snapchat has a hidden filter called negative image.....this happens when u type
Negative...
In the caption..
With this mod...this functionality is lost and can only be used with larger special text by pressing the T on top right Corner

The secret filters have been long disabled, since December I believe.
Hey, elesbb, I've been using your module for about a day now, and it's fantastic actually being able to say what I need to say. After having used SnapChat for like a year and a half now with some 30K Snaps sent/received... I'm almost crying with joy.
I do have one rather small thing that might be nice to include. When I hit the Enter button on any of my keyboards, it does what SnapChat automatically does, and minimizes the keyboard, but it also indents a line, as per your module. It'd be nice if your module either changed it so it doesn't minimize the keyboard, or (my preference) it not indent a line and only remove the keyboard instead.

Actually, they have not been disabled they're just only on the beta versions. I'm on the latest beta version and can still apply the filters but only after disabling this module and rebooting.
And there actually 10 "secret" filters.
I've downloaded this mod a while ago and ever since some of my snaps have appeared as videos which can not be opened. Couldn't get the mod to work either. Not sure why.
Has anyone else noticed the thing about snaps converting into videos that can not be played?

This does not touch anything with received snaps. It only touches the snap view when you take a pic and tap to add a caption. I don't understand how this module is making you experience anything like the behavior you're experiencing.

Whatsapp Message replies on Android Wear

Are there any apps for replies Whatsapp Message on Android Wear?
Not yet, I'm guessing we'll need to wait until Whatsapp update their app.

I'm assuming he means, when whatsapp will incorporate Android Wear into their app, yes you will get the notifications from whatsapp, but when you swipe to the left, you wont be able to do anything with it other than open on phone,
I think he is looking for when Whatsapp will add the ability to reply to a message, like IE Hangouts you can reply on the watch to a hangouts message.

It will take Whatsapp developers to enable functionality into their app to allow for Wear, this is the same as ie Facebook Messenger, it will need to be updated to reply on Wear
i do also see my whatsupp messages on watch, but thats it. its pretty nice though, if you receive just an info or smth. like "ill be late.." or smth..
Okay guys the same answer was posted several times now. Come back when it changes
Got my watch today. I don't seem to get whatsapp messages, everything else works fine though. not sure why it's working for you guys and it's not for me..

I asked it to the main developer of Whatsapp+, and this is what he said:
I think that's an option WhatsApp themselves should add as it's something in the main app and not from the plus add-ons.

It's not possible right now.
I've found multiple websites that claim that the beta version of whatsapp adds support to reply by voice from wear, i've installed this supposed "beta" build but cant figure out how to respond

Litereally 3 posts up -.-
This is easy. Download the file 4 posts up an install it on the phone. Then you can answer via lg watch by swipe up the notification to see it on the whole watch screen. Then swipe left and press reply...

Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but all I get is open on phone. Sorry I didn't notice someone had posted it already, Saw the thread yesterday and there was nothing.
If you installed the linked apk and there is no reply function, I would recommend to restart the watch and the phone. If it's then still not possible to reply. I would go to Android Wear App on the phone and resync phone apps (that's an option under settings of your paired watch)
That's how the reply option looks:
