I just checked it on Snapchat v5.0.14.0 and it is working just fine. Double check your modules to ensure its enabled. If it is, toggle it off then back on and reboot. Still not working, check if there are any errors in the xposed installer log. Also attached a copy of the log (pressing menu key will give you option to save log to SD card)

red underline
This is great! Exactly what I wanted and works perfectly on sc v5!
One thing, a few people have said there are red underlines under incorrectly spely words :/ is it possible to fix this? If not that's fine!!
Cheers for your work!

Snapchat has a hidden filter called negative image.....this happens when u type
Negative...
In the caption..
With this mod...this functionality is lost and can only be used with larger special text by pressing the T on top right Corner

The secret filters have been long disabled, since December I believe.

Hey, elesbb, I've been using your module for about a day now, and it's fantastic actually being able to say what I need to say. After having used SnapChat for like a year and a half now with some 30K Snaps sent/received... I'm almost crying with joy.
I do have one rather small thing that might be nice to include. When I hit the Enter button on any of my keyboards, it does what SnapChat automatically does, and minimizes the keyboard, but it also indents a line, as per your module. It'd be nice if your module either changed it so it doesn't minimize the keyboard, or (my preference) it not indent a line and only remove the keyboard instead.

Actually, they have not been disabled they're just only on the beta versions. I'm on the latest beta version and can still apply the filters but only after disabling this module and rebooting.
And there actually 10 "secret" filters.

I've downloaded this mod a while ago and ever since some of my snaps have appeared as videos which can not be opened. Couldn't get the mod to work either. Not sure why.
Has anyone else noticed the thing about snaps converting into videos that can not be played?

This does not touch anything with received snaps. It only touches the snap view when you take a pic and tap to add a caption. I don't understand how this module is making you experience anything like the behavior you're experiencing.

Question

I have tried a few driving apps but I think what I really need, given the space on the Note II, is to just make my own driving interface out of widgets. If such a thing is possible. Unfortunately I am not finding what I need and I was wondering if anyone here knows of any matches
I am looking for a maps, or even better, a navigation widget. IE something I can place on the screen as a widget 4x4 or something like that that is showing the navigation app. using widgets which I can resize and place myself. I am essentially looking to make my own dash screen. But the key component is a widget version of maps and/or navigation.
If you change the dp in system with xposed, you can have floating windows. Then you can have navigation floating over all of your screens, and close it when finished. I know that this isn't what you are asking, just a suggestion.

It is not the perfect solution, but it works. Sometimes you havecto back out ofcit instead of closing it. Other than that, it is awesome.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Can you be a little more specific? Can not seem to reproduce that in xposed.
Sure thing. First install xposed, then install app settings. Enable app settings, then reboot. Gointo app settings, and click android. When the screen pops up, click on dp. Change the dp to 600x1024. Reboot, and you should have floating windows.
These are the setings I use. The only problem that I have had from changing this is my lockscreen rotates, and only shows 3 shortcuts on the lockscreen.

Strange. I already have Xposed installed as I run Jelly "Beans" and use the custom DPI on a few apps. But when I make those changes to Android System I don't see any change to the apps I open such as maps. No biggy, just curious why it doesn't work.

Adding toggles to Notification panel.

Hey guys I was trying to see if I could add the WiFiHotspot toggle and yes I was able to. Below you will see the instructions for that. It will still check to see if you are paying for it. When the subscription check pops up just click "Home".
1. Get SqlLite Editor
2. Goto Setting Storage
3. System
4. Edit field "notification_panel_active_app_list"
5. Add WiFiHotspot;
6. Hit save and reboot

Also you can add a brightness toggle.
Type Brightness;
Put it in the location you want it to show because you can't move this one in the toggle edit screen.

Not sure what I did, but I F'd my phone up good trying to do this mod ROTFL.
I'm not exactly new at this and have SQLite many times with no problem before.
I carefully edited the correct line but on reboot I got on immediate error saying system UI failed to load and there was no taskbar.
I tried to undo the edit, but it was really tough because the error kept popping up everytime I tried to do anything. I did get it corrected but the same thing kept happening.
I finally gave up & hard reset it (I would have given anything for a nandroid BU at that point......

[MOD][Xposed] KitKat Toast Backport

Requires Xposed Framework!
This module replaces the old toast look with the new KitKat one. If you're running KitKat, you obviously don't need this.

I haven't released it yet due to a bug it has (which may be causing a mem leak, and it prevents the user from using an app to pick something; locking the gallery for example prevents from using it to pick an image).

I was just about to request this but then I saw your post. The 4.3 notifications have less unnecessary padding and the darker color goes along better with the system scheme.

I find that the padding makes it easier to catch my attention. I missed a lot of the older toasts. The new style is also a lot more attractive, but each to their own, I guess.

Nice work OP. this mod works great!
on the note 3, you need to add the smali code in settings, they are not there already. Hope this helps other devs.
one more thing.. the toggle wont show unless you make an sql edit.
unless you also edit the secsettingsprovider.apk... and add flashlight to res/arrays. then when your user wipes data when they flash the rom, it will properly display the flashlight toggle. If data isn't wiped, then it still wont show... Just an little FYI...

Yeah man. Hard coding for the win. Xposed is great and all, but it causes issues since people try to release modules that will work on as many devices as possible. Too much generalization
After updating my rom, the toggle was still not available after a full wipe. I assume it is because I forgot to add it to the SecSettingsProvider array list.
In the meantime, I have instructed my users how to achieve this using SQLite.

Removing S Finder and Quick connect from Notification Panel?

I'm loving this phone, I came from a Galaxy S4 and it was definitely worth the upgrade, but the "S Finder" and "Quick connect" buttons in the notification drawer are bugging me since I have no intention of ever using either app. I looked through the settings and I didn't notice anything to disable this unlike how you can turn off the recommended apps (earphones). I already tried to see if you could turn the apps off in the application manager but it's not an option. Anyone figure out if this is possible?

S Finder is a search app, by typing a few letters of anything, it will search almost anything on the phone apps, messages, contacts, email, notes etc.

Ya know I was kind of curious so I just looked it up and I think your right. I think that those buttons where removed in the at&t, sprint and verizon versions. (along with the download booster). They are in the international and the T-mobile versions though. I think that T-mobile is the only carrier which released the S5 with very little personal modifications of there own and therefor is almost identical to the international version (which is the one released direct from Samsung). That is probably also the reason why the international roms work on our phone. I think that all they did was just install there apps. Cool! T-mobile is getting better and better all the time.
Some reason I can't quote you on this app now, but anyways; I haven't gotten my hands on a AT&T version to verify it, but my buddy has a AT&T one so I called and asked if he had it and he said no, so it's hear say I guess lol
But that would be good if we could flash international on it

This is annoying me as well. I think those not yet able to craft their own ROMs (like me), are gonna need to wait. If you're feeling adventurous, you maybe try installing [ROM][G900F][4.4.2]-AllianceROM-OTA Nightlies (the F and T models are similar I believe) and providing the developers with feedback.
Edit: There's also the possibility that [APPS][4.1+] Google Experience Launcher (GEL App + Google Search App) will work, as described by the article How to get the Google Experience Launcher on the Galaxy S5 which I found via this post (go thank him if it works).

I already use GEL, it's in the notification panel though, not the launcher. I'm thinking maybe there will be an Xposed module for it eventually, maybe Wanam can add it.
No guarantees.

Remount /system rw.
Delete existing SystemUI.apk and odex file in /system/priv-app/
Copy this version in. Ensure permissions are correct.
Reboot and enjoy.
Someone else less lazy can make it a flashable zip if they want.

It did get rid of the SFind and Quick Connect buttons on my drop down notifications
I do have a circle icon with the S inside upper left. I have the Alliance Rom onboard, FYI.

The brightness control is a separate setting. This doesn't affect that, I just have mine turned off.
