[MOD][Xposed] KitKat Toast Backport - Xposed Framework Modules

Requires Xposed Framework!
This module replaces the old toast look with the new KitKat one. If you're running KitKat, you obviously don't need this.

I'm assuming this isn't meant to work on touchwiz 4.3? I gave it a go on my Note ii and it didn't change the toast notifications.

Working on my Xperia Z. Would like to see colour and font options. Good work again @MohammadAG

You're right, Samsung has a different name for the layout, which is kind of stupid as both are the same damn thing.

On my laptop
I haven't released it yet due to a bug it has (which may be causing a mem leak, and it prevents the user from using an app to pick something; locking the gallery for example prevents from using it to pick an image).

Thanks for this, love the new cosmetic touch. You consistently come up with the coolest and most useful xposed addons like expand lockscreen, etc.

This might sound crazy, but would you mind doing the opposite. I actually prefer the old 4.3 toast notifications.
Edit, Actually I should be able to do it myself, just need to figure out how to change the font.

I was just about to request this but then I saw your post. The 4.3 notifications have less unnecessary padding and the darker color goes along better with the system scheme.

I find that the padding makes it easier to catch my attention. I missed a lot of the older toasts. The new style is also a lot more attractive, but each to their own, I guess.

Version linked here is old.

[Online Kitchen] An online kitchen to customize your android rom (Offline)

This online kitchen is ONLINE now. However, it is still under construction. USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
Visit http://www.aok-project.com/ !
Hey, guys,
I'm developing an online kitchen to help everyone even without any knowledge of programming or kitchening customize to their own android rom.
Below is the interface of my website.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Basically, here's how it works
Choose a your device
Choose a core (base rom), like CM_7.2_RC1 or CM_7.1_Stable
Choose the built-in apps. Here you can remove the built-in apps that you never use. For example, I like CM 7.2 rom, but I never use the built-in camera and message. Instead I use Go SMS Pro and Camera360. In this case, I could remove them by un-checking Camera and Message checkbox.
Submit your request
Download your core.zip and apps.zip. [Core.zip] contains all rom data except all built-in apps. [apps.zip] contains all built-in apps except ones you un-checked.
Flash them into your phone!
Done!
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Right now, online kitchen only support Nexus One, CM 7.2 RC1 and CM 7.1 as core. In future, it would:
Support more devices and cores.
Allow you to add your own apks to the rom as built-in apps
Customize cores (patch kernel, remove unnessasary language files and etc.)
Personalization (Add your name to "About phone") Anyone could tell me is this possible? I mean, is this legal or against open source?
blah blah blah

Click to collapse
So, anyone has any suggestion?
Thanks for your time and help!
If you add sense stuff later, will be a must.

As of now, it looks good to me! When I get off work I'm going to pull out my N1 from the box and use your kitchen to put something together, that's for sure!
I love that you have descriptions of what the files are. Makes things a bit more understandable.

I'm thinking "include our own apps from pc" too. However, this may cause a problem that users may include say 1 million apks to their rom . Anyway, this function is not hard to implement. You will see it

Now the online kitchen could remove some wallpapers and themes which save you about 10mb space. For ringtones, well, it is a kind of complicated story. I will try.

This mod isn't working for the app ES File Explorer when I delete a folder? The toast is still using the KitKat theme. Can anyone also check on this issue?
Thanks!
I love this module as I am not a fan of the new KitKat toast notifications. After using it for a day or two I've found a bug however. Another poster already mentioned it briefly, but the text on the toast is sometimes the same color as the background as you can see in this screenshot.
imgur.com/E7aGiCV
I'm using a stock Nexus 7 2013. Like I said, it doesn't happen every time, but the apps it occurs in are always the same. One more thing, I feel like the normal text color for when it does work seems a little dark. I remember the text being pretty much pure white in Jelly Bean.
Good job on bringing the old toasts back and I hope you can iron these bugs out!
Deleted.
Ok, I think I've seen the issue you guys are talking about in reddit sync. Very odd. Will investigate later, hopefully I can fix it!

Updating with google launcher support tomorrow and with an extra customization bonus for the home screen.
New version with google quick search widget coloring capability uploaded to the Xposed Repo.
Since theres already a module that customizes the Google launcher I don't see the need to target it so I left the compatibility for it out of the build.

It's totally possible since the version that I use already replaces mine, the problem it's getting free time to implement an image picker with so little support I've been receiving from the community.
