Why?

Why would someone want to remove that? Lol, in my opinion that's a good section to have esp if you wish to force sync Google account or remove it etc....

I saw it requested on reddit and though "Hey, I don't ever use that either. Shouldn't be hard to hack together!".

Nevermind you "why", guys, if someone wants to remove it to get a more simple settings look then they can use it.

I kinda like this idea, does the module include a quick way to re-access that section if we do need it on the fly? If not would you entertain the idea of including that? Maybe an easy to access enable/disable module button?

I also like this idea! Also yours but if so, I'd think it would be great to implement that button in the settings app, or maybe not a button but a hinged item. That would be great

Like... Replace the accounts section with a button to unhide the accounts section? That reminded me of the machine that has only one purpose: turning itself off: http://www.instructables.com/id/The-Most-Useless-Machine/

No, sorry. I'm not familiar with working with it. Xposed doesn't officially support it and neither do I.

This is really cool and all but can someone make a cwm zip to undo this. Its being used in superclean and I just think its too cluttered when it pops up. Maybe make it optional in the menu with the hide clock and am/pm?

Actually, you should be able to decompile my services, and copy the DateView.smali into the captivate services and recompile. There is nothing majorly different amongst all the variants.

I installed Xposed framework then installed Wanam's module from the Play Store. I then enabled Wanam's module in the Xposed framework app then restarted the phone. If you open Wanam's module you'll find all the tweaks, just reboot after enabling/disabling them.

[MOD][Xposed] KitKat Toast Backport

Requires Xposed Framework!
This module replaces the old toast look with the new KitKat one. If you're running KitKat, you obviously don't need this.

I'm assuming this isn't meant to work on touchwiz 4.3? I gave it a go on my Note ii and it didn't change the toast notifications.

You're right, Samsung has a different name for the layout, which is kind of stupid as both are the same damn thing.

On my laptop
I haven't released it yet due to a bug it has (which may be causing a mem leak, and it prevents the user from using an app to pick something; locking the gallery for example prevents from using it to pick an image).

This might sound crazy, but would you mind doing the opposite. I actually prefer the old 4.3 toast notifications.
Edit, Actually I should be able to do it myself, just need to figure out how to change the font.

I was just about to request this but then I saw your post. The 4.3 notifications have less unnecessary padding and the darker color goes along better with the system scheme.

I find that the padding makes it easier to catch my attention. I missed a lot of the older toasts. The new style is also a lot more attractive, but each to their own, I guess.

Does that have an option to change status bar color based on the app you're in, like the ios look?
I just checked that this depends on the app if they have enabled transparency. Some apps that are utilizing such is Spotify ang HTC Zoe (Beta) so most likely app devs should update their apps to use transparency and have an elegant looking when the app is used.

when I had xposed installed on my G2 there was a module to make the status bar take the same color as the header of the app you are using like in iOS, I kinda wish there was one. Or if there is one, I wish I was aware of it.

Use the Xpoded framework with the module "Tinted Status Bar". Some apps you have to set the colour yourself but in general it works great.
