[Q] New User

I have been lurking on this forum for a few years... and now I try to post it tells me that I have to have more than 10 posts before I can reply in developers threads I know there are certain rules but as an Android developer myself I was a bit surprised...
I have just installed SlimRoms RC1 and have found that video recording no longer works and my camera is stuck on 3MP instead of 8MP as per hardware - never had issues with the previous releases of the software
But I can't get in to that thread to post a reply yet :-/ Any mods out there that can override that setting?

Have you searched the thread? (The rule is to stop n00bs been lazy and just flooding dev threads).
Did you do a wipe/factory reset before installing rom?
Have you tried other roms? (ie do you get same result or is it just slimrom)
Have you tried other kernels?
Also in future it would be better if you used proper titles, ie titles that are descriptive of topic. For example this question isn't about you been a new user or about the 10 post rule persay, Its about the issue you're having with device/software.
The mods aren't going to remove limitation for you, otherwise what would be the point in limitation in first place or stopping anyone else just asking for it to be removed?

Looking for a 123flashchat app for a specific website

The site it's for isn't the issue. What I'm looking for, though, is an app that uses a 123flashchat backend which will allow me to use the member database from a vbulletin site.
Since android doesn't support flash, mobile users are locked out of chat, so to speak...I'd like to give users an option to use the site's chat from android devices.
Any help is appreciated...if one exists, please point me in the right direction. If not, and you know of any source to get me started, any advice and links are greatly allreciated.
Thanks!!

Forcing 120hz for all apps/games? (on ColorOs 11)

Hey guys,
Really liking the phone, but there one major deal breaker, it does not go to 120hz on most games I have tried, such as grimvalor, subway surfers, oddmar, etc.
For some reason real racing 3 and pubg works, but others donot.
what also baffles me is youtube does not work at 120hz? but when you install youtube vanced, it works at 120hz. I'm aware coloros whitelists apps, and I wonder if there is a way to bypass that.
Any ideas how to force it via adb commands? have tried coloros_screen_refresh_rate (similar method for oneplus phones) and it deselects the option in the settings like oneplus, but the games still run at 60hz.
I wish there was an app like autohz that works with this phone. I tired contacting the developer and said he only supports phones he has (which is the galaxy s20 and oneplus phones).
I can imgaine there is nothing like autohz yet because of the community is not as vast, but this phone is really good and fully capable.

Question Not Able To Use File Sharing On Windows 11

My Windows 10 PC recently updated to Windows 11, but after updating I am unable to use File Sharing option since it is not working. Could anyone please help me solve this problem? I can't remember what I did in Windows 10 to make it work.
After posting this issue here, I searched through the internet, found a few articles that described this issue. After reading this article, I remembered what I had done in Windows 10 days. I re-enabled file sharing with the help of this article, and now I am able to share files without any hiccups.

The article you are referencing is giving you a very bad advice: "enable SMBv1 support". It is an old protocol, very insecure - that is why it is disabled in any new installations by default.
