finally i want to know whats new on the new 136., thanks for opening this :fingers-crossed:

I have updated and here's my thought:
1. Status bar font seems to be getting bigger by the size?
2. Superior Auto still overprocess the photo because of the noise caused by high ISO
3. Slight yellowish Hue at the start, but easily balanced with White Balance (Blue 60 and Red 20 for me)
4. Bluetooth somewhat got improved, My Keyboard still going on and off but reconnecting quite fast now.
5. Battery life is a bit improved (for now) used to be like 10% for a 30 minute screen time, to about 10% for 45 minute of screen time. (with browsing as the main activity)

adding a point:
The XZU is now gennerally faster in Benchmarks than the Note 3 which uses OC to get better in Benchmarks. (dunno if that is the same Trick like the Note 3 uses)

Anyone else experience the mini browser app crashing? If so, how did you fix the problem?
Thanks!
The previous update removed the mini browser and now its back, albeit, it doesn't work.

i dont think it is. been running it as stock with root thru zergrush (with data and wifi set to off with screen off and some bloat frozen or removed) and overnight it dropped by 4%. On .42 with the exact same variables set i would see a drop of around 10% to 15%. signal strength on wifi and vodafone seem to be stronger and more consistent too

just flashed this myself installed dooms v8 kernel, removed all the crap(didn't freeze uninstalled) gonna do a full charge before bed and see if the 20% drain i used to have is any better
sony must of recieved feedback about the baseband or the dev's found the problem from what i can see the only thing changed is the baseband

Poor Battery life "ICS"

After updating ICS i root it straight forward, and experience the poor battery life, I waited 3 weeks and calibrated many times, and turn off all the unnecessary services as suggested in the different forums but result is same, before ICS, i was happy with 3 days battery life, but Now, it just keep the juice for 1 day that sux!
Notice, Android system is taking all the juice and its keep "Awake" why not in sleeping mode ? when not in use.

I recomend you to use this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521309,because default ICS kernel suck. I'm using I-Scream build 10 (which is a lite version of Nordic .562 FW) with this kernel, and battery drain is about 2% in 4 hours. Also, you should make different profiles (with setcpu),for example when screen is off set profile to 122-460 mhz, conservative mode.

Can we use that kernel on official ICS and locked bl and is there any fc, problem with wifi or bug?
Sent from my Neo V with supercharged ICS ^^
yes,it works with official ics. If you don't have wi-fi issues, flash it dirrectly, but if you have wi-fi issues install first this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1609617,don't boot after install, and then flash Inteks kernel (without booting between installs). I'm using it on MT15i,and i don't have any lag or wi-fi issue. I don't know if it works with locked bl,because i have unlocked bootloader.
I think after update (wipe) phone is collecting info about battery and some other stuff, that's why your phone is awake all the time or maybe some app drains your battery?
Take a look at my stats.

Nothing to tweak. Besides, what did you tweak so far?
Stock ICS shouldn't drain so much. Do a clean flash again.
Android OS should report higher usage than in GB, but not that high. Do a reflash.

Stock, clean ICS doesn't drain so much.
If it does, ether some modifications are made, or something is messed up while flashing.
Op. You said you've disabled some services and calibrated many times have you thought of just letting it settle.
Flash again, rather than trying to undo everything that you've done. This time give it a couple of days to calm down then investigate if needs be.

tegra D00 and ICS Roms

I have tried various ics roms. But seems everyone with tegra d00 cant seem to get it going. So decided to start a thread for if someone figures out how to get d00 going with any ics rom. The screen tear and cant turn screen off and get it to come back seems to be the problem i get with all the different ics roms. So from what i read its kernel issue. so any d00 fixes or tweaks please post in here.
I have the same and there is no solution for that until a proper kernel is written/ported.
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
I have two Atrix with same tegrapart and almost same serial number (was bought and delivered together, from same shop). One of them works with the ics rom, other don't (have the screen lock corruption bug).
i have d00 with no screen tear, main problem was battery ...
i have D00 also...
no problems to get the ROMs work...
now using AtrICS v2...
except of fast battery drain, no probs so far...
same here AT&T version with d00 and no problems apart from fast drain and heating
So the real problem is not the tegrapart type? What is it then???
I can not use any of ICS roms due to screen tearing and black screen issues.

Mine is a d00 with same problems. I gave up using leak based ROMs for now.
I'm using Th3Bill's ParanoidAndroid latest build and that is an awesome ROM. No fingerprint, no Chrome and no VPN, but the rest works pretty well and, using the Tablet UI all the time (with 160 DPI) I have a good lapdock experience also.

Epinter, do you have any clues about the real reason of those problems?

I have the d00 tegrapart. I've tried both AtrICS 1.0 and v2.0. Functionally everything worked great except for the short battery life and excessive heat but it had continuous reboots. The reboots would get progressively more frequest with time to where after about three days it would start rebooting about every five minutes with it just laying on my desk without me even touching it.
Lately I've been going back and forth between 2.3.6 stock and CSROM...patiently waiting for a stable build.
I don't know if anyone else has had this exact experience but I've been able to run several of the roms based on the ICS leak and as long as my atrix is plugged into my computer via usb, the roms seem to be fairly stable. Within 5 to 10 seconds after I've unplugged it, it reboots and continuously bootloops. The weird thing is that even when it's plugged into a stand alone charger it bootloops, it has to be a computer for it to be stable at all.
I have d00 and I am currently using ICS MROM. It works great so far. Battery is not draining that much.

hmm so maybe tegra part has nothing to do with it working or not. is there any other # or even clockwork version we can compare from working/nonworking d00 user?

Looking into it today
btw, PMEM here.
Tried ION then PMEM (clean flashed both) and here's what I noticed: dialer FC'ed (read the forum and noticed that this was fixed ) but the worst part was the inability to turn it back on from sleep after a few times and maybe it's me but the battery life is just AWFUL. I went to a class and it went from 40% to 5% by the end of 3 hours. Oh and the frequent random boots are quite obnoxious. I will say ION seemed noticeably faster and I would run it saying there's more overall stability. I won't give up yet I know you can iron out the bugs. Keep up the good work!
Sounds like you may not have been on the included kernel. It's not nearly as unstable as you've described and my phone has been on it for days now without a single random reboot or bsod.

You're absolutely correct and it probably the safer route; however, ION is much more stable then you think and can be incredibly responsive. Just make sure you wipe everything x5 and you'll be alright. Also, I replaced the kernel with the Funky Kernel by snuzzo. Its much more stable and it definitely worth trying.

WiFi Tether on Rez Tachyon
@Neo
WiFi tether in the system menu says "Error" when I try to enable it.
I tried Barnacle WiFi Tether, and it says "Waiting until Wi-Fi is disabled"
I cannot disable or enable WiFi---it's simply grayed out. Perhaps I should try a reinstall of 1.1? I confirmed that I have that rev.

@Neo -- Thanks for uploading 1.1.5. I installed it and my WiFi and Tether still do not work. They worked fine on 1.1. I wiped system, cache, dalvik, and data before installing. Guys... Install something like Gsam battery monitor so you came actually tell what is using your battery.
You most likely have rouge apps that are causing wake locks

Anyone else getting sluggish performance after the update? I never had any performance issues on 4.1 but some apps are really slow and jerky now, even some of the regular system animations are slower.
Also, is it just me or did the developer options disappear from settings.

Yeah, I had to Factory Reset twice to get rid of the lag, and it didn't completely resolve it. It's like even some of the core apps aren't optimized. Weird. The stuttering animations really make me pissed
If you want developer options go to settings, about phone, software information, more, then click on Build Number a bunch of times and it re-enables developer options
I feel bad for u guys tht had to wait all this time and now have performance/battery issues ... I have none here hahahaha
Actually I think it's better after that 2nd reset. It may have just needed some time to "settle"

Seriously? That's weird.
I don't want to factory reset, especially if it doesn't even solve the problem. This is lame.
I disabled the lookout app. That got rid of my wake lock . Battery life is still bad though.

No problem here. I did notice that my phone was running hot after the update. I ended up powering it off for a few minutes. When I powered it back up, it ran at normal temperature. Or maybe it just cooled down.
well, I sure am glad I have a jump from t-mobile. I'm going to offload this piece of crap for Nexus 5.

I have no battery issues here. I cleared all cache using an app right after the update.
