[Need help] Double tap 2 turn off LED notifications - C++ or Other Android Development Languages

Hey guys, firstly I want to say, that I have absolutely no clue about developing, or compiling and such.
I know a lot about computers and smartphones (especially Android) but I´ve never developed anything before.
And I do not speak any programming language.
So, what I need, is a way to turn the notifications LED off, via doubletapping the screen. (This should only happen, if the screen is turned off)
Basically I want a "double tap too temporarily disable the notifications LED, until the screen is turned on and off again" function.
I have literally no idea how to start this, and I need some help on this.
My plan would be, to make a kernel-module which kinda reacts to doubletapping the screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Vibrating problem

Another "question" from me. When I am on the Phone/Dial screen everytime I touch the phone, it's vibrating, is it possible to turn this function off? I didnt find this option in Settings yet :x ,... Thanks for help!
Go to settings->sytem->touchflow, and disable it.
Is called haptic feedback and I think it is kinda cool

Backlight wont turn off after "x" seconds

Hey guys,
I have a fairly brand new (within the month) rooted GN II. The backlight fails to turn off after sometime for some odd reason. I have the backlight set to 15 seconds and Smart Stay off (aka all software options set to off). If I restart the phone, it seems to temporarily fix the problem until it happens later on somehow. Anybody know what could be causing this? Application?
PS- I havent soft/hard reset it yet.
Thanks
Some applications will keep the backlight on. Are you leaving a specific app when it happens?

Click to collapse
Thanks for the reply! Not that I can think of. But wouldnt the phones hardware/software settings override any app? I think the only app I use on it is Skype?
Apps can request the android permission that allows the backlight to stay on constantly, think Navigation, the screen stays on the entire time you're navigating. Watching a movie or video does the same thing. It sounds like an app that has this permission not working properly and keeping the backlight on, but it's hard to tell. This would be why a reboot fixes it, because it would close the app.

Turn on second screen only when notification

Hi guys
I have a question:
Anyone's knows if it could be possible (with or without root) to switch on second screen only if there are notifications?
Basically I'd like to have second screen ON, only if there is a notification. Many times I have them and I like it to check but the majority of the time I haven't any and I don't care to look at the time,i have a watch! Ahahahah
Thanks for help

disable vibration

Stock no root access... I want vibration turned off completely, whoever thought vibration in a tablet without a way to globally disable it was smoking something really special, I'm sure, but it is extremely annoying (and sometimes even unsticks the magnetic keyboard case)... I've individually turned off as many vibrating notifications as possible but it still vibrates sometimes... Any advice please ?
I wouldn't mind disabling it too, it's pretty loud too.
