Smartassh3 is unstable; will cause random reboot.
So I'm guess your kernels are not working with cataclysm
If not I'm still using 9.0-9.2

no it's for CM - sry but if you need it for cataclysm i can compile it with stock ramdisk. let me know
Thank you for this. Looks great can't wait to try it out

Why are you removing Franco sound?I've always been on Franco kernel just for the mod sound
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I build different the next days. Faux sound includes more things to setup
You can use the older build, it is the same than the build with faux.

An IOMMU Heap is removed in CM Kernel which is needed by stock.
Changing ramdisk won't help.

I clean installed the newest Beanstalk, booted up for a few minutes, went back and flashed the CM version and it was stuck on the Google screen. It seemed like a glitch because the LED was working while on the Google screen and that never happens. Either way wouldn't boot.

AOSP compability
Will your kernel, guys, work with AOSP based ROMs? AS I can see in 2nd post there will be CAF SlimKernel. What does it mean? Is it Slim kernel but only for CAF ROMs or, maybe, it is CAF kernel for Slim and other AOSP based ROMs?

it will be the same kernel (only for caf based rom) and sabermod toolchain.
but ace will build his own slimkat with caf patches in this thread. so we can provide a optimized rom too.
That's right, I am sure you will enjoy our variant of slimkat. (And yes it will be CAF)

[kernel] Collection of kernels from different Custom-ROMs for S3mini - i8190

1.
Before you flash any kernel here,
- read the ROMs thread about issues and bugs!
- do a full backup of your existing system!
- make sure you know exactly what you are doing!
I will NOT take any response if you brick your phone in any case!!!
Let's do the party...
Because I was always missing some kernel threads for our nice device I decided to start with a collection of available kernels.
To expand that collection YOUR help is highly appreciated!!!
- Please report kernels not/working with ROMs
- Please report if you know about updates.
- Feel free to post kernels here - but please, do not forget to ask about permissions and to give proper credits!

Also allow to us change the TCP congestion, change deep sleep state(dont try the other option under power menu, kernel dont support that) and know boot time. As written at OP, you are very welcome to help!
I don't have stock ROM no more, therefore I'm not able to test those kernels. If you have a link I will add, if you like to extract,
- take chacos kernel,
- extract it
- replace boot.img and
- replace system/lib/modules
- zip it again, uncompressed
- flash and test it
and it will be added soon!

So I don't expect your kernel to work here, but am not sure.
How is it about f2fs? Has it to be supported by the ROM or by the kernel or both?

Hi all guys!
I'd like to share with you my Kernel named Metallized!
It's based on cm sources and it's full of great features that are going to improve general smoothness and battery consumption.
Now every kernel version is named MetallizedNE which means NewEra because the kernel is no more based on Franco, but on cm. Everything is smoother than before!

My personal profile tuned for a good compromise between battery/performance
Put the file inside sdcard/Synapse/saved_profiles then restart Synapse and load it from "profile" tab (selected profile -> MetallizedMinia89zzmoove.tgz -> restore selected profile). Synapse can crash after profile restore, but it load it however. When you enter in Synapse, after the profile restore, press the x button on top to lo ad the settings.

Your Kernel is based in Franco kernel. I would say you should post it to the android development section and not to the original android development section.

I think you're right I was wrong posting it here. I hope some mod will move the thread in the right section.
I've also edited the OP. In the credits I've wrote "Tyr" instead of your nick

V2 only change is SIO scheduler?
Edit: Ok I read the OP now
Edit: @Minia89 I don't have the SIO scheduler in V2

No problem. I was asking a mod and he said that my thread belongs to android development section because it is based on franco kernel.

Tomorrow I will look better at the code, the sched is in but I can't see it in Synapse too (in trickster mod is available). Maybe uninstalling Synapse and reflashing UKM will help

I've tried elementalx governor but it gives me a lot of reboots. Changed to smartmax and everything is fine. Maybe you should look into elementalx. You are the only one that has it implemented, maybe it isn't ready for our OPO...

I can confirm that I've no problems so far using elementalx governor Even if it's not very believable, said by me
Can someone please post screenshot of the default elementalx settings? My settings always change...

Added to OnePlus One index thread:
[INDEX] OnePlus One Resources Compilation Roll-Up
I noticed that apps seemed to load a bit slower, I had some shuddering/lags in scrolling.. I've tried several configurations, but can't seem to find the right one?? I was running this on TeamUB with no other modifications.. Does this have touchboost?.. No other issues with all govs/schedulers.. It felt like I flashed a wrong kernel (back in the old days, aosp and cm weren't compatible, and your rom would act gummy)... I've tried reflashing the rom and kernel again clean and still the same.. I'll try another setup, what rom did you test with?

Debugging
/proc/kmsg is a file that stores all the kernel messages from the very first seconds of the boot process. A copy of that file isn't always needed to fix a bug, but since I've explained how to get one I don't even remember how many times, I'll write here the needed steps:
1. open a terminal on your phone
2. run the following commands:
Code:
su
dmesg > /sdcard/helium.log
3. the log will be stored in helium.log.
If the issue caused a reboot, step number 2 changes:
Code:
su
cp /proc/last_kmsg /sdcard/helium.log

init.d script editing - not required as of v46
Important: your modifications to the script will be lost:
when you update the ROM, if you use an AOSP-based ROM;
never (changes are persistent), if you use a CM-based ROM.
the init.d script provided with the kernel (01helium) contains some lines that enable or disable certain features. Remember that the script is written in shell language, so the lines starting with # are ignored.
In the script you'll find useful tips to edit it correctly.

Yes. There will be a Marshmallow build this weekend.
Uninstall with Tangerine uninstaller?
XenonHD _r18
Was 29628 with Tangerine 9.2 . Also had to limit max freq. to 1674. Have reset problem with max freq.
Resurrection Remix 5.5.8 not booting.
That's great because I didn't like tangerine

What goes wrong? At which point does the phone get stuck? I also got a booting problem once today, after the SONY logo I got a black screen and then the SONY logo again, but after a few seconds the phone booted. So wait a few minutes before stating that the phone doesn't boot and tell me what do you see.
On CM12.1 Official 20151116 with Helium v1 I can't use toggle buton to see my last used apps
With T10.2 this working.
I don't know how but this is strange.
Sorry for my bad English
It boots all the way up to the home screen, in the same second the screen goes fuzzy and the device reboots. It's also plagued with that weird 1.4 Ghz issue that affects so many X-SP devices, I didn't managed to boot into KA, but it's obvious because it takes ages to do the apps optimization after cache/dalvik cleanup.
With last temasek v18.5 freq CPU goes to 1728Mhz. All buttons works ok and performance is similar than stock cm kernel.
F**** weirds things of Xperia Sp!!

Oh yes, that's true. The 1.4 Ghz issue it's a device issue, rather than a kernel or a ROM one. I've erase and format everything, including internal storage. Clean install with ROMs that were reported as working fine with Tangerine.... still not able to go above 1.4 Ghz.

That's pretty serious. Try to go back to stock ROM.

It's weird, because I'm not the only one with this problem and it works just fine with stock kernel or Tangerine up to 9.2.
I'll go back to stock tonight and then return to LP, hope to report "fixed". Thanks, Tomoms.:highfive:

A few advices: when you come back to LP, if the issue is fixed on stock ROM and stock kernel, flash the LP ROM you want, flash gapps/xposed/any other thing you need but non Tangerine nor Helium. Then boot, install Trickster MOD Kernel Settigs and check if frequencies are OK. If it's OK, do not install Kernel Adiutor. Then flash Helium, do not wipe anything. Reboot and check.
And... what's the reason for not able to go above 1674 Mhz on antutu? If I benchmark on 1674+++ phone resets itself while testing processor. Hardware issue? Normally can use 1900++ , but on antutu... damn...
Nope. If it had been a device issue, i would have it on stock kernel as well. I don't have it on stock or on tangerine 9.2...

Done that - NOT working.
Installed stock 4.3, than erased and format everything, I even removed the SD-card. Flashed latest CM 12.1, no gapps. Trickster - everything OK, 1.7 Ghz. Then I've installed Tangerine 11.1 - max. 1458 Mhz :crying: Uninstalled 11.1 and installed 10.2 - still not going above 1.4 Ghz I rest my case, good luck with Helium.
