TPU Cases? - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories

Anyone find any good tpu cases?
I found a couple on Amazon but most with bad reviews. Most complaints were that the cases do not fit.
I found this one.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I86GGII/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_22zhtb0CC8DKH
It has no reviews yet and I bought it ...I don't have it yet... But let's hope it's good.

I have this one. It fits. It's snug, but it fits. The buttons are pretty hard to press though. It will do until some other options come out I guess!

If I could have any case for this device, I would want a Gumdrop Bounce Skin.
My wife has one for her Ipad air with a glass screen protector and there is nothing like it. Survives drops and a 5 year old, feels great to touch, sticks to your hand so you can use if one handed without a strap, sticks enough to a table or whatever so you can just lean it up against anything (wall, pillow, monitor, shelf, pencil holder, ...) and it stays at the same angle you set it down at, easy.
I just love this thing. If gumdrop doesn't make it, I'm going to have to bribe a silicone guy and get him to copy one for me. I think I could almost duplicate it with RTV silicone rubber if I bought two of them cut them up to fit and then did a two part mold, but it would take a bit of thinking and I don't know how well RTV silicone would last (but it would have the right shore A hardness to feel great and "stick" in all the right ways).
The best thing about the case is that while it grabs lint and stuff like most silicone cases, it does not feel bad and does not inhibit its stickiness. This might not make sense to you if you aren't acutely aware of everything you touch and how it feels (and I wish I didn't), but if you are sensitive to it, this is amazing. Now I haven't covered it in baby powder or anything, but it is amazing not having to worry about tossing it on a pile of laundry or the bed or the carpet and it not getting so covered in tiny dust that you feel like you have to wask it off. Even my otterbox for my GS4 makes me feel like that sometimes, but not my wife's gumdrop bounce, man I'm envious of that skin.
If you want here is the link to it on amz. for the ipad. they even have it in like 7 colors, I just wish they made it for the Note pro.., maybe they will.
http://www.amazon.com/Gumdrop-Cases-Bounce-Skin-BOUNCE-IPAD5-LTBLU-V3/

I got my Poetic Graph Grip yesterday. I'm pretty torn about it. The fit is great, it is much better protection than the Fosmon case linked above that I have, it is comfortable to hold BUT... it is heavy!! It adds a significant amount of weight to an already large tablet. And it also seems to be a bit of a dog fur/dust magnet. Which is a problem in a house with three dogs! So I'm not sure whether I will continue to use it or not.

OK I got the tpu case.... And it's pretty good. The buttons are a little hard to press especially the power button.... Other than that it's not bad.

Cases

Well, had my TouchHD about 2 weeks so far and I'm already on my second case.
First one was from HK and was a nice rubberised black plastic thing.
Fitted nicely and seemed to be decent enough quality.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160346407304
However earlier in the week I managed to snap off one of the 4 corner "tags" that clip it shut, dunno how, spose I caught it on something and ballsed it up..
So I ended up buying this set instead.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370239535693&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Silicone rubbery case and a crystal case.
When they say crystal, they really mean plastic but I'm sure you guys knew that already right?
Anyways, whatever its made out of it fits together a lot nicer than the "cheap" case from HK, ok so its not as nice looking but it a much tighter fit for the TouchHD.
I'm actually using the silicon case at the minute as I prefer the rubber feel (actually that doesn't sound right), and it doesnt slide about in the car..
Both sets come with screen protectors and little cloth things but I havent used either as I'm still on the one that came with the phone, although I might get one of those privacy ones..
Did you check this:

No I didnt, looks good tho, much prefer those sort over the bendy metal neck type.

Trident Aegis Case

Has anyone tried this case? What are your opinions on it. The only thing I feel is lacking is a kickstand to angle your tablet towards you, like the journal/portfolio type cases do.anyone haves solution for this? Or know of a case similar to the aegis that will do what I'm describing?
http://www.goodandevo.net/2011/09/review-trident-aegis-case-for-the-htc-evo-view-4g.html
I've. Read that review. Its one thing to read a review written after one day's use and another to hear the opinion of someone who's been using it for a while.
But I'm still looking for a similar kind of case with a kick stand.
I have one and I really like it. I love the detachable stylus holder. I can remove it when I want to game or otherwise use the tablet in landscape mode. It does offer good protection.
How much bulk does it add? Does it collect a lot of dust?
I ordered one and I should be getting it today or tomorrow. I'll update this thread with a quick opinion soon.

I posted a long reply with a link to a picture I took of the case and when I posted, told me I can't post links yet and nuked my whole reply..
(Ok, had some food and time to retype my post)
I've been using one for about a month now, I tried a few of the protective "hard use" cases out there hunting for the most protection I could find for my View but had no luck till I found the Aegis.
Overall its been great, I'm ultimately waiting for the Defender from Otterbox to come out as I need the most protection I can get for my device but this will do nicely till then for the most part.
They did a good job of of making the case fit the Evo View tightly, making for a pretty svelte case for the amount of protection it gives.
One small thing about the fit, the bottom lip of the silicon part catches on things sometimes and has developed a tiny bit of sag because of it but it's nothing major. I can't post links yet but if you look at the pic I posted at umf dot net/View/View_Aegis.jpg you can see the slight sag in the rubber part along the bottom edge of the screen (hope the pictures not too blurry)
As far as smudges, its held up pretty well on the rubber parts, some smudging but most of it "rubs" out with my finger if I really wanted to clean it. The hard plastic parts of course look pretty much new but then again I put the device
inside a small Maxpedition pouch before throwing into my pack so I don't exactly "abuse" the case.
So all in all, while its not Defender or Ballistic HC level of protection, for the minimal bulk it adds it's still a very sturdy case and works great for "around town" I still plan to purchase a Defender case for "in the field" type activities (hopefully Pelican or Otterbox will come up with a water/crush proof case to fit 7" tablets into for more "extreme" activities) but I am very satisfied with the Aegis as well and will continue to use it whenever I don't need that ultra level of protection (or bulk) that the Defender will provide.
Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot! I acutally ordered mine a few days ago, and I expect it to come tomorrow. I'm replacing this leather folio case for the Aegis. One thing I will really miss is the flap that covers the screen as well as the ability to have the tablet angled up like a stand. Its very convenient when I'm reading at a desk or watching a movie.
Yea I guess that's the main reason I still kinda baby the View while in the Aegis case, the screen feels vulnerable. A hard plastic cover that snapped on the front that also somehow snapped on the back and provided a kickstand would pretty much cover all the bases.
I just ordered one, should be here tomorrow. Got tired of waiting for Otterbox to get their **** together. Would love to see Ballistic make a case for it, but they probably wouldn't see a return on the investment of case design and manufacture for this tablet.
Got it!! It's a little fiddley around the volume and power buttons, but once you get that worked out, it's not a bad case!
yea I posted on both Otter and Ballistics Fb pages and at first both said no, was happy to see Otter decide to make a defender but yea, a Ballistic HC style case is what I would really like so I can just toss it in my pack without a second thought.
I have a Trident case and it is OK...not as heavy duty as a Kraken case or even a Cyclops but my 5 year old stood on it and has tossed it around a bit on the carpet and it has been fine. Was I upset? Yes! The case is more for protecting against scratches and light bumps....not for a little rockstar in the making!
I own the aegis case and it's nice. Keeps my device safe and i paid $25 for it from Amazon. Looking forward to a defender series but in no hurry now

I was hoping for a Cyclops series Trident case but since Aegis is all they offer I grabbed it from amazon for $25 and I'm pretty happy with it.
It was a bit of a pain to get the hard plastic shell over the silicone case (I entered hboot several times) but since I've had it on, I really like it. I just wish they didn't leave that bit of an exposed area if you don't use the stylus mount.
I was between the army green, red or cyan blue, and went with the cyan blue. I like the contrast, and it looks great.
Good
thanks but plz learn me

Review for Case-Mate Tough

Had it for a couple of days now figure I'd give my two cents on it.
The case came in standard AT&T boxing nothing special added in. If you have ever used a tough case from Case-Mate don't expect anything new and exciting, which I think is a great thing.
The case is a two piece with the hard black plastic wrapping over the grey silicon which feels good in the hand because of the textured hard plastic cover. The installation is pretty straight forward and a overall very snug fit a bit tougher to put on than other cases. The buttons feel pretty good, the power button is a little bit easier to push because the covering makes it stick out a little more. The volume buttons a little tougher to press, but definitely not a deal breaker by any means, same goes for the camera button as well.
All the speaker holes, and ports are unrestricted and work/sound the same without.
The bulk is there so don't expect a super thin case, but it's not too big either.
Couple of my complaints is that the top and bottom sides of the phone don't the hard plastic doesn't go over, for the most part I wear slacks so pulling my phone in and out of my pocket at work is okay, but jeans or more constricting pants could be annoying because of the top and bottom lips of the case around the screen getting caught up. Also, the edges of the case around the screen also get dust around and under them as well, but that silicon for you. I wouldn't say either is a deal breaker by any means just a little annoyance at times.
The only deal breaker I can really see would be the price, $45 is a bit steep for this type of case in my opinion(Yet I bought it anyway.) , it's quality but would be a bit happier paying $30-$35.
Sorry for the crappy pictures only thing I have is an Atrix to take pictures with.
Good review thanks. I have to say that I hate that case on the Titan. I think I am going to stay naked. The phone is to nice looking and feels good as is.
I like the colour combination from that protector. Thanks for the reviews.

SiKai MicroFiber case for the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 Tablet case

Purchased the SiKai MicroFiber case for the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 Tablet. Delivery was within the UK and didn't take too long, about 5 days including the weekend.
I paid £15.19 delivered from Ebay UK Item number: 200647561882
The case is made from a strange type of plastic material, it's quite soft and flexible. Am kind of glad rather than faux leather. It is very thin and light, but seems sturdy enough to protect the tablet around the house. I have a 10" netbook bag that I keep it in when travelling to add extra protection.
I like it since it makes it easy to carry around with you and doesn't add bulk to it. I would say the case is lighter than my official HP Touchpad case and similar in strength, although a different material. I can only compare it to the ROOCASE Multi-Angle Leather Case and can say it is much thinner and lighter than that.
There is only one angle that the case allows for, but since it is an Android tablet you can flip the whole thing round and get a lower angle. Its fine for watching at night when streaming video so its not an issue for me.
Price wise the only options available to me at the time were the faux leather ones for about £9.99 or the official case from the Lenovo website coming in at a hefty £34.99 once you add the crazy £10 delivery charge! Not many options in the UK unfortunately but am glad I did some research and found this case.
Other things that you might notice in the photos (sorry poor camera phone ones) there is a place to put a pen, all cut outs seem correct and I love the fact that I can charge it without having the case open, also the hdmi port is free.
Not sure how long it will last but considering the few days usage of it, the minor things like the tablet can slide a tiny bit inside the case so would have preferred a tighter fit (although will try and adjust the velcro again that closes once you slip the tablet inside), the cut out by the front facing button could be a bit lower, and the magnetic clasps to be quite weak I will give this case an 8/10 and can recommend it.

great case! I bought this sikai case too and actually prefer it more than the original lenovo K1 case.
This covers all ports, and also has a great microfiber texture that is slightly grippy, while remaining smooth to the touch. does not attract dust at all and keeps the K1 snug (if it feels loose, readjust the velcro tighter).
recommended!
Yeh have tightened it a bit more, doesn't move as much.... Glad I chose this over the cheaper cases and the official one which was more than double the cost here in the UK.
Can't believe how dead this forum is for this tablet, going to see if there are anymore forums with more support....
Just got this tab last week and love it so far. Looking for a good case but hate the leather, faux leather look.
Please let me know if you find more forums as I have looked and am surprised how little I've found....
I know of one other decent one, google "lenovo community K1"

Cool will do.
This case is pretty good if you want something thin and light, there are stronger/more protective cases out there but they add bulk and I don't want that since I use this round the house...... Still glad I bought this case and find it better in that respect to the Roocase.....
Thanks, will google what you said.....
Got the SiKai for my TPT. Everyting else looks bulky in comparison. It is extremely thin (I''ve tried a lot of gadget cases over the years), and although it's screamingly vinyl, it doesn't look really cheap since it fits so well. Leather like this might come off as over-the-top (not that I wouldn't probably sucker into that if I could find it). It's got the seam around the edge where it cushions a drop, and the magnetic closure on the flap is a great touch, not too powerful, but it stays closed well enough.
My gripes are with the screen cover flap: it leaves two stripes on my matte screen protector where the fold places rub off the grease I thought I cleaned off last night, it doesn't hold the tablet vertical enough to really use, and it's busy looking on the front. If I had a choice in the design, I would leave off the "stand" capabilities and leave it flat. If it's open, it's really floppy; it would be easier to manage if it were entirely rigid. I might add a hide-able tether & a knob/button so you could stand it up on its other edge more vertically instead.
All in all, for the price I paid (US$26-ish), I'm very happy with it. If Piel Frama comes up with something, though, I might check that out, if only to drool. I still love my old Wizard case, and my Advantage case from them, too. Very lovely, solid product, and they've been keeping customers happy for a long time.
Addendum: After a couple of months with it, mine is holding together just fine. I had to trim a bit of vinyl fringe, butvall vinyl does that ( it frays a bit after it's freshly cut, but after you trim it once, unless it's cut really crooked, you're done). I have noticed that after a bit of stretching from the daily+ in & out I do to use the dock, it's loose enough to partially obscure the rear camera, not to mention trying to take pics with the flap cover is a huge PITA. If I used this camera a lot, I'd be totally fed up with this case. I may also be melting a bigger hole for the speaker (whch is hard-core disappointing to begin with). All in all, though, that's it for my complaints, which is pretty rare for me.I plan on cloud storage sync and a great cam on my next phone to use the tab for pviewing,
To be fair the official HP Touchpad case does the same thing to my Touchpad so it's one of those things.
I use the same case for my Thinkpad Tablet, and it's the best I've encountered so far, albeit with some flaws of it's own: Some of the stitching on the inside of the cover is already beginning to fall apart after ~1 Month of usage :-/
Stitching has been fine on mine, maybe tell the reseller to exchange it?
Wow cool.... but its little bit expensive

Looking for a premium look case

Hey fellas!
I am looking for a premium looking case for my nexus 6.
My phone is white if it matters.
I did like a lot the Nilkin slim border, but its out of stock everywhere.
Also i have found this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Sli...hash=item41939eb983:m:m2afeTHn0qE_nI9hygZ9iVg
Black aluminum borders.
Besides that, im looking for something that will give me a nice grip yet still make the phone look elegant and aesthetic.
Thanks!
I have that. It looks okay, but the quality is crap. I got rid of it right away.
My favorite Nexus 6 case is this one:
Ringke FUSION [Dust Cap/Drop Protection][CLEAR] Shock Absorption Bumper. (Available on Amazon)
It adds minimal bulk and fits like a glove.
I bought this case about 6mo ago, and have been very happy with it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152687543728 (Not affiliated with the seller, just a happy customer)
Back is a clear, hard plastic (poly-carbonate?) and the "lip" is a firm TPU-type material. I've dropped it dozens of times with zero problems.
I've used the "S-shape" type cases for other phones in the past. A simpler, less "high-end" look, but they have tiny little "nubs" at the edges that give excellent grip. (Zoom in on pics to see):

I have this Ringke also and it is a good case, but I wouldn't consider it premium. It does provide adequate protection for minor bumps and falls. It has a large enough lip that my tempered glass screen protector doesn't scratch if I place the phone face-down on a table. The clear TPU yellows over time so it looks dingy though. Depending on how frequently you charge or use a headset, the dust caps can be annoying (of course they are easy to snip off the case if you like.)
Overall it is a very good case and the one I use most of the time, but particularly because of the yellowing of the clear plastic, I can't consider it a premium case.
I use a Spigen slim armor. Very nice looking and protects well. I had together it directly from Spigen though. I tried ordering one from a discounter and they send me a fake. It literally didn't even look like the real thing and lacked the kick stand and didn't even fit properly. They just printed Spigen on some random vaguly similar case and tried to pass it off.
Have had a number of cases over the years and I'm none rival the quality, feel, build, and just plain sexiness of the Seidio Dilex Pro. I'm the best kickstand case as the kickstand itself is metal as well as magnetic, it's also very sturdy. I went thru 2 Spigen Slim Armor kickstand cases after the plastic kickstands broke off then I discovered this beauty lol. Also rocking a Dbrand skin and no problems with the fit. Also the feel of the outside lip is great, more than enough to sit it face down, but formed and angled perfectly as to not in any way hinder using the screen. Seidio is also a big name company so the price is higher @ $29.99, over your run of the mill ebay cases, but as the famous saying goes, you get what you pay for lol.
https://www.amazon.com/Seidio-DILEX-Metal-Kickstand-Motorola/dp/B00S6TA3RW
Also might add that the way the metal kickstand is attached the area is flat which means sitting it on a table it will stay put instead of rocking back and forth lol. The butter shell of the 2 pieces is also covered (or made?) out of something that is pretty grippy, no slick plastic or rubbery TPU to deal with, using it for over a year in construction sites, factories, and other outdoor/dirty jobs it doesn't hold dirt or sweaty skin oils compared to others I've used, I wash mine bout once a month in hot water with dish soap and no warping, deforming, or most of all, fading, still black as the day I got it. And one last awesome thing that's soo small to be easily looked over but makes a huge difference when case makers don't do it is the side buttons, each one is individual, precision molded, and have a very satisfying feel when depressing them. It may be a tad bigger compared to bumpers or extremely thin shell cases which are barely a step up over a full Dbrand or (can't remember the other skin company) skin lol, I found myself loving the size, it's not full on OtterBox, but it still is thin enough to let me use it one handed which is whenever I'm doing anything but typing lol.
::Edit:: Oh yea, it comes in Black, Blue, Red, and White. Seidio also makes a Surface case with the metal kickstand as well and I'm sure it's just as high quality of a product I have not tried it myself and cannot attest to it's build, here is an Amazon listing tho if you would like to see it, it is one that includes a belt holster tho there are listings without the holster for cheaper.
