Hey, I this is odd..... I don't seem to be able to mount the sd card and the internal storage.... Do I need to do anything before I can do that? Do I need to install any specific drivers?

Maybe you can try SD MOUNTER app. It changes media transfer to mass storage mode, thus could be good for your mac

Is making the internal SD card act like a USB Mass Storage possible but not implemented in any kernel (or mod) because the lack of source code or is it just impossible?

Does anyone know how to enable usb mass storage mode instead MTP? this is so disgusting because of slow transfer between mtp and pc.

I'm using the MIUI 7 developer ROM (5.9.9) and it appears to be using mass storage mode by default.
I can use mass storage only in recovery
I dont know why
Is there a way or an app to use Mass Storage Mode?
