[P/U/SOLA/GO] COMPLETE Guide to make your KIT KAT ROM more FUNCTIONAL - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

This is my first thread, so please contact me if I have done something wrong
Main criterias that need work
-Sound loudness
-Ram management
-Performance
-Battery life
-Gaming
Better speaker volume
One of the biggest problem of cm11 based roms is the ow speaker volume. This can be Overcome by using VIPER4ANDROID
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
It improves sound loudness by a great deal. TRY IT YOURSELF!!!!! Tick xloud down in settings and see the miracle happen:good::good:{Install app drivers properly and use methods as mentioned in app thread}
Performance
-Use interactive governor as it gives the best performance. Use performance in settings to do so or downloada 3rd party app from play store. For eg No-frills cpu control { Dont forget to apply set on boot.}
-DONT ENABLE AUTO BRIGHTNESS. It locks frequency at max.
-Dont use ART. It is just negligibly faster but can cause problems with certain apps
-If you are facing, strange problems that are other are not facing, flash stock ics ftf file in flashmode using flashtool and then flash the rom's kernel in fastboot mode and install the rom
Ram management
Try fly-on mod if it suits you [did suit me, I run whatsapp, VIER4ANDROID, HD widgets, Google Search, launcher, all without any of them redrawing
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226373
Dont forget to take a nandroid backup
[According to me, its better than supercharger especially for our device as fly on mod is optimized for 512mb devices, I even got random reboots with supercharger, so use fly on mod]{yes, they do exactly the same thing}
-Download memory manager from play store and set the values as follows
8,10,20,24,26,28
Dont forget to tick apply on boot
-According to me, dont use any task killers and similar 3rd party apps
- I dont even use KSM or purging or assets[you may if you like to
-Greenify Ram hungry apps such as whatsapp and facebook
-Download any root explorer and then go to build.prop in system
Then search for ro.config.low_ram=false and change from false to true
though this will cause to transperant notificatin disappear, believe me, it will help a lot
Better Battery Life
-If you want battery life, use conservative or lionheart as cpu governor
-Follow certain simple techniques such as
1 Switch off wifi and mobile network when not in use
2 Use 2g network whenever possible over 3g
3 Switch off bluetooth or NFC when not in use
-Use BETTERBATTERYSTATS from play store to know whats using your battery
-use Wakelock Detector from play store to know which apps are waking up your device
-Geenifying apps saves battery life even
-Sometimes happens is due to frequent changes of roms, battery gets uncaliberated and shows wrong stats. Follow these steps
1 Charge your phone overnight
2 Use the whole battery the next day and then again charge battery from 0-100%
-Airplane mode- use airplane mode during night, it will save overnight battery drain
-Turn off auto sync and location, it will save both battery and RAM
-Use Juice Defender from play store{It isnt just a placebo, it really works}
-Refer to this guide for detailed info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969741
Better gaming performance
-Reduce game graphics to improve performance
1 Download and install xposed module http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
2 Download and install app settings http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2437377
3 In app settings, choose the game you wanna play.
4 Reduce the resolution to lowest
5 Reduce density from 240 to 150 and save the settings and reboot
By this you will get lower graphics but smooth gaming experience, especially on heavy 3d games
-Fly on mod will also help
-Use xbooster and set gaming mode
-Set ondemand as cpu governor and row as io scheduler
-Use airplane mode while playing offline games, it will stop internet services like location, syncing etc and clear ram as well as cpu performance
Using these tricks your gaming performance will increase significantly
By following these easy steps, we can make our Kit Kat roms fit for daily use
Again, if I did something wrong, please inform me

Yeah, but still I always calibrate my battery when I installed a new rom. IDK, I want to believe that it makes my battery life longer haha.

Thanks bro, I was bored with the sound issue... but calibrate battery helps, because sometimes my phone gets crazy and power off with no charge, then I just turn it on and there's almost 50% of battery!

Nice thread
Thanks information is very useful :cyclops:

Some notes.
V4A is not compatible with walkman. (If you have it and its libs installed it won't work. )
Auto brightness doesn't lock my frequency at max. Probably ROM specific. (i use Weekly 4 cm 11 xperia p)
Flashing stock should not make a difference as entire /system partition is wiped on flashing.
Other than that all is good. (Wipe battery stats will have negligible effects and only when there ate major changes (like power hal) in ROM and you flash without wiping data. )

Thanks for the solutions! But I 've got some questions:
1. interactive governor - is it really the best one? If so, why it's not set as default?
2. You advise to not use ART...but what exactly it is (and where it is)?
Cheers!

According to me interactive and smartassv2 an interactive are the best ones. It is not default probably because of battery

It is present in developer options in settings

Honestly I don't see nearly any difference in speaker loudness using Viper4Android. Of course, sound quality and volume are much better on headset. But it doesn't change too much with speaker problem.

Have you intalled the drivers properly??????
you have to install busybox from playstore, it is a very imp step. And also click xloud from down in the settings and set the effect to maximum

Thank you for the answer.
If xloud is the last option in menu, yes I ticked it (sorry but in my native language that option was traslated and isn't even little similar to xloud now)
Of course I have installed drivers properly because as I said before there is huge difference on headset quality. But the difference on speaker is barely 'noticeable'...

I did not find any xloud option. Is it extra loud ?

When I run flashtool (CM11) I can see something like this:
BusyBox v1.21.1-kk bionic (2013-11-24 11:52 +0100) multi-call binary
Isn't it enough? What is the reason to install busybox from Google Play Store?

@pentoza
Not every one connects their cm 11 phone to flashtool. No point. And for updating busybox its better to use play store
@chetan_p
Well I tried all of that. Never worked. Gave up eventually. On stock .100 (xp) the driver never installed.

[Guide]Make an Optimus One to fit you, save battery and get best performance!!!

Code:
This guide is just something to give you choices, anything you do it's your job, but just get some inspiration;)
WARNING!!! I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone, just try not get too fuzzy with it, or you will brick your phone!!!
Most the thing here will be for rooted phones, if something not working don't blame me, blame GOOGLE...
This only Applies to stock GB and CM 7.1 by mik_os, any other ROMs may not be supported, sorry.
READ©Up There!!!
Any extra info and apps are welcome
* - No danger, definitely go for it!!!
** - This may make your phone unstable, but if you find the solution in time, you are fine...
*** - May make your O1 un-start-able...
**** - Can brick the phone, can destroy it forever!!!
Install CyanogenMod, it will save at least 100MB of your internal storage(as all apps are on ROM, LG apps are on internal memory in stock).
Also, may do much more better things to your phone, but be careful.
Try custom kernels by franco for overclock!!!
First of all, lets start with the CPU****
Use SetCpu
I will tell the frequencies, and what I recommend for, any other advises are good, for any frequency, or atleast the major ones(122-480-600-729-768-806-864)
122MHz** - Lowest, but there are some things:
- Use this if you don't use your phone, only for rare talking and stuff...
- If you have 2% battery drops in 2 mins after you turn the screen on, this is the problem of 122 min...
- If you use your phone more than 1 time/hour (no matter how much), don't use this as min...
245MHz* - Avoid it at all costs, it does nothing good, takes same battery as 480, but it is slower, finish tasks slower, don't use...
320MHz* - This is not good for anything...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
480MHz* - My favorite, 90% of my use, will save battery, fast response, maybe it will work as max a bit, some apps work like a charm on 480
- Anyone using the phone for anything else other than calling... this is the best!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
600MHz* - use it if no need for OverClock, as I noticed, only Angry Birds and Facebook app gets boosted...
729MHz** - Best Overclocking for battery, will not affect any of your phone, battery is as much as 600, no way you shouldn't use it, no heat up also!!!
768MHz** - best performance without affecting hardware, it will heat up a bit...
806MHz**** - Last one that will not burn it in 5 minutes, I would not go any higher...
864MHz**** - If this works on your phone, it is 100% new and 100% perfect!!!
MENTIONS, VERY IMPORTANT: It depends on your phone, manufacture errors, your phone may go stable @864MHz, or it may not go higher than 600... mine goes at 768MHz, any higher gets me KP...
If you don't need profiles, just get No Frills***
Governors
minmax - like the name, goes to min or to max, it is horrible!!!
Scary - a modified conservative, a bit weird... try it you may like it, better at battery than conservative, worse at gaming, non-gamers, try this!
SmartassV2 - Good, try, great... a better version of smartass, use this if you have it, great for fast gaming, but not good for long use...
SavagedZen - WTF IS THIS???????
smartass - it changes the frequency very good, it really is smart, see v2↑
conservative - goes up and down in stages, not 122→729, but 122→320→600→652→…, really good for long uses and short uses, not taking battery like others, but it has a lower start when gaming, lag in 1st 2 minutes, but then it is no more lag, tested on "Diversion", a really cool highend game.
ondemand - this is what you had when the phone came!!!
userspace - WTF IS THIS??????
powersave - keeps at minimum frequency...
interactiveX - modified version of interactive, which goes to max in second... it is same as SmartassV2, a bit stabler on my phone.
performance - stays at max...
SmartassV2 and InteractiveX have build-in sleep profiles, it saves battery when standby-ing and best performance at gaming, while scary gets you best battery and a usable phone, and conservative the best performance/battery.
Next, VM heap(RAM allowed for an app):*
This will take more RAM, but will boost the CPU and more things...
On CM7, go to performance settings-VM heap
On stock ROM, install VM heap tool from the market...
Set it to 32MB*, this is already done in CM7, but on stock ROM it is easy and then then BOOSTED...
24MB will slow apps...**
48MB will fill the RAM fast, making system autokill kill too fast...**
OR just change the value in build.prop
Use a simple launcher, that may save battery and use low CPU... Here are my recommends:***
Nemus Launcher*
- Looks a bit like LGHome, and takes less battery
- Very smooth, look at the video it has on the market...
- It really is fast response and quick launch, a new experience
- Very simple, smooth and
LauncherPro*
- Very good, my personal favorite, will save battery and keep options, will need to be updated if ICS comes, tho...
- Smooth, but no horizontal drawer...
ADW*
- I hate that this is hard control, not very smooth, YOU have to chose it, but if you tried more, you will see it is not the smoothest, not the most customisable, but a pretty good combination...
- You can get used to it, but if you used LGHome for more than a month, you won't need this, you will quit it!
Zeam*
- This one gets updated, and really fixes the bugs it had... it is not an usual one, but minimalistic, like it says
- Most of the big launcher won't get updated anymore, abandoned...
- This one is good, but it is not exactly smooth, but power save
GO Launcher**
- With the right combination, they say you have it smooth, I didn't
- Did 2 factory resets because of the corrupted data after a few glitches that made me remove the battery...
- DO NOT SET default if you want this, dangerous... only thing that did something bad when I was not rooted, got me bootloops((((((
Watch out the setting you enable, maybe you don't need all kinds of gestures, anything you don't use, DISABLE!!!*
APPS TO USE OR NOT TO USE, YOUR OPINION IS BETTER, THIS IS JUST MY ADVICE:
NO TASK KILLERS(ATK, ATM, TasKiller). Use minfree, set the values you need, the other tweaks you need and enjoy!
Juice Defender will only help you... really when does it help?????
Link2SD - easiest way to manage, freeze, uninstall, move2sd, any app management that requires root, except backup!!!
Just uninstall any app you don't need!
Data on Demand - Really good, try it
Freeze system apps (Link2SD above!!!) with ugly UI and slow, like the Browser and Gallery (YOU MUST), but get a better app before that, with all those missing functions...
Replace Gallery with QuickPic and Browser with Dolphin, which is the only one with cool UI, fast startup and FULL, Opera Mini and Mobile are NOT full, but they are fast
If you want to save your eyes, use Screen Filter*
Yahoo Mail and Gmail are huge hogs!!! If you don't need instant notifications, use stock for that, it refreshes automatically when you start it, takes 2 seconds to refresh, and no battery lost...
Disable profiles in SetCpu if you don't need, that takes battery too!
Use Autostarts, this is your problem, your apps, good luck, but watch out...*** If you want, google autostarts.apk, I got it that way
Disable unused settings, never use high quality in games and apps, that are made for hdpi, O1 is MDPI...*
Don't use wifi when it is not there, just hogs battery, I know some people use it everytime, everywhere, just get it on when you use it, or if you have at home...*
GPS* - This only works OUTDOOR, don't enable it in the house
Get brightness to minimum, will save your eyes and trust me, get it to max in sun and you see it perfect, get it off when at home and see it the same...*
AutoSync* - Disable sync for crappy apps, some things just sync without working at all...
Data* also takes lot of battery(very much, actually), so disable it when not in use, if you want it off when screen off, use Data on Demand
Also, empty your screens, don't use 10 widgets per screen, I use 1 and I am happy, they don't inform you that much, you know...
*Disable setting you don't need( like the high quality images in cm7 menu, what is it good at Optimus one?), eg: I never use gestures, I type Facebook faster than making an "f" in gestures, and that takes some of the CPU, disable everything you don't need or that doesn't help!!!
Angry birds(not seasons and Rio, only the classic) has an option to disable the background, that will make it 2x faster...
Disable history you don't need, flash when you don't need...*

suggestion #1 - lower the font size!
SetCPU - runs as a service, instead I'd suggest a boot script or No Frills
VM heap tool - just change the value in build.prop no need for an app
SD Cardbooster - use init.d script or add your desired value to init.local.rc
Autostarts - take it or leave it, most of the startup processes end up cached and not actually loaded into memory. It will improve boot times though.
Advanced Task Killer - Most experts don't suggest task killers... they're not needed.

In thinking about it, I hate Task Killers, Androids memory management is actually pretty good. Instead search "minfree" on the Market and play with the settings. It's safer and more effective.
Task killer + noob = disaster.

Ammm....no Hogs Here on 806, running smooth and hardly made a difference from 729-806 wrt battery draining FOR ME.
just make sure u dont keep all your apps open in the background.
and About the Task manager
i use TaskKiller its got a nice 1 button end apps widget that runs in 1x1 mode. And u can add running services to the ignore list, like DSP manager, Google Services, Messages etc that wont flood the Running apps list, And Whenever u use other apps like Market,Maps or the Browser and wont use it soon again u can end those apps and get some free ram over there.
Specially after Playing some games and browsing pics using a PicManager.
Anyways gr9 Tips

I cannot recommend a task killer, everyone knows about them, but memory managers are only for root, so they must get known, I will recommend no task killer, sorry(to avoid noobs getting lower performance just because.they can't make an ignore list...)
What should I do with cache, does it speed it up or just make some stuff slower, or cached data may even boost?

I disagree saying 806 or whatever is a battery hog. there is no recommended frequency, as everybody uses their phone differently. Some may use CPU intensive apps or functions that are only good for battery at maybe 806mhz. For those light users, overclocking isn't very good, as their need for CPU is less and overclocking just drains more battery.

I don't know what to say, the 480 and 122 have same voltage, and the battery it takes works in SmartAssV2, interactiveX is made for gaming and using it, but I don't think it will keep at lowest, I will add that interactive governors are better at 122 min, but Amy others, I think best is 480, it depends so much on the governor, try scary, that is cool.to see how the frequencies change very odd...

I will try making this just to give you advices, but making your own choices, knowing what exactly are you doing, making an O1 just the way you want, for example I am gonna say what is every frequency good for, but I will tell you what are the risks, but does anyone have a voltage list for every frequency( up to 864, if you can...).
So I will thank you, I need more help...

What I do:
1. Install Titanium Backup, QuickPic, and another browser that's meant to be kill-able.
2. Freeze Android's default browser and Gallery.
3. Set the 2 things I downloaded as default.
Browser and Gallery had been the culprits of a lot of my battery leaks for the past 7 months. How'd I know? Watchdog. Install Watchdog. It's a lifesaver.
Also, no problems with GO Launcher
(Help )got myself autokiller memory optimiser(minfree) from market ..what should my settings be to keep minimum ram at 280?

Official Flyme OS 4.5.1.2R For Xiaomi Mi3/Mi4

Official Build: http://www.flyme.cn/firmwarelist-20.html
Note:
Based on 5.0.2
Installation takes long time.
For me (in CWM Recovery), ROM flashing took about 9 minutes and than the 1st boot took 8 minutes so be patient.
Do no flash GApps without 1st boot, it will give FC if you do so.
For root you have to flash SuperSU zip on your own.
Includes Normal (or named as powersave) and Performance mode sticking max frequency at 1.9 GHz and 2.3 GHz respectively.
Doesn't change Wi-Fi MAC address like other custom ROMs, if that matters.
Doesn't have dedicated WCDMA only mode, and resets automatically to preferred if you set in testing after reboot as in general ROMs

Well battery life seems fine. I can't comment on battery life of any ROM, I can't notice difference in battery life matter at all.
Performance seems OK, not very snappy but is good.
But I believe I will flash some other ROM now as only this ROM is one which is giving problem with playing Vainglory. Touching the screen scrolls down notification little bit most times in the app (not anywhere else but the specific game I olay)
ROM is fine not very highly intuitive or something just normal. Has inbuilt different immersed bar. And iOS like smart touch little white button.
Has themes available too.
Bugs idk didn't come across except I mentioned already.
ROM is usable for daily use, test yourself.
And do get rid of stock keyboard, it doesn't write letters despite getting tapped

[KERNEL TWEAKS] Jedikernel G3 [3.0] [V1.6.2 STABLE-TESTING] [11-18-2015]

###########################################################################################################################
These kernel settings are dead! They will not be updated or worked on. Support has ended for them! If you want to keep using settings like this but that are better please switch to the Nebula Kernel!
Here is a link to the new kernel settings for the Nebula Kernel!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/kernel-settings-nebulakernel-rev10-2-1-t3258520
##############################################################################################################################
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! MIGHT NOT WORK FOR ALL G3!!
MAKE BACKUP OF YOUR DEVICE BEFORE USING THESE FILES!!!
Please Do not change or mod these settings or re-release them! If you do i will hunt you down and murder your favorite pet and turn them into a nice steak! [That was a joke......]
This thread is for setting i made for the LG G3 Verizon Wireless (vs985)
These settings are to be used with SetCPU and Trickster Mod (You'll need Trickster Mod donate pack to restore the Trickster Mod backup settings)
These settings .zip are not flashable. You will need to unzip the pack ON DEVICE.
PACK includes:
SetCPU profiles:
Multimedia - Other, Multimedia - Photos, Multimedia - Music, Multimedia - Video, Multimedia - Camera, Emulator- MyBoy!, Social, Google Chrome, GPS Navigation and Maps [NO ACTIVE], Phone/Contacts, HIGH TEMP!! 170+oF+!!, Games (HD-Large), Games (HD-Small), Charging (AC/USB), Screen Off, Everyday Use. Those are the profiles in the SetCPU pack. They are still being tweaked!
Trickster Mod Setting: EXTREME Undervolting, On_demand Governor tweaking, minfree_Control (RAM Management), 1512 i/o fiops, and some other awesome things! They are still being tweaked!
Install directions for these files:
1. Download the .zip file from this page
2. Unzip pack
3. Put the LG G3 CM12.x JediKernel 3.0 [1.x] [2.88GHz].setcpu.json in the root of your onboard SD card partition. SetCPU will find the files on its own when you go and restore it
4. Put the LG G3 (vs985) CM12.1 JediKernel 3.0 2.88GHz [09-19-2015] file in the tm_profiles folder in the on board SD card partition.
Then go into Trickster Mod and touch restore and select the latest version of the files
5. Download NOMone Resolution Changer and set your Resolution to 1080 x 1920 with the DPI settings of 320! This is just something i forgot to add! This will help you get MAXIMUM proformance and battery life since your display will not be pushing a 1440p resolution! LINK TO APP [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nomone.resolution_changer&hl=en]
6. ENJOY THESE FILES and you're instantly AWESOME LG G3!
I do not take ANY credit AT ALL for the making of the kernel! I did not build the KERNEL! All credit goes to @ptmr3 !
These settings ONLY work on the JediKernel! If you use the Trickster Mod Settings on any other kernel the device will crash and boot loop
DOWNLOAD THIS BADASS KERNEL FROM THIS BADASS DEV!
Kernel link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver.../kernel-jedikernel-g3-1-0-08-20-2015-t3183997

[CHANGELOG]
09-12-2015: [V1.0 Stable]
1.Release of the pack!
2.Release pack date isn't current but it's the newest/latest build/compile of the settings pack.
09-18-2015: [V1.1 Stable]
1. SetCPU: Multimedia-Camera Added Open camera
2. SetCPU: Google Chrome lowered MAX CPU Freq from 1959MHz to 1728MHz for stability
3. Trickster Mod: Much needed CPU voltage tweaking! Now more stable but keeping extreme undervolting and keeping temp down and saving battery
4. Trickster Mod: OnDemand Governor tweaking. Now CPU and GPU play nicely together. If any lag or frame drops were in the last build it is most likely gone.
09-19-2015: [V1.2 Stable]
1. SetCPU: Nothing changed!
2. Trickster Mod: CPU voltages raised for more stability!
3. Trickster Mod: OnDemand Governor tweaked. Still testing can't tell if it drops performance or raised it up a bit!
09-19-2015: [V1.2-1 Stable]
1. Added Kernel Adiutor support! READ FILE INSTALL DIRECTIONS ABOVE! [STILL IN TESTING STAGE]
09-23-2015: [V1.3 STABLE]
1. Trickster Mods: Fixed CPU voltage setting for more system stability.
2. Trickster Mod: Reverted back to On Demand settings that were in V1.1!
3. SetCPU: No Change. Changes coming next version build release!
4. Kernel Adiutor: Turns out the settings i released for this app don't work. The file in this pack has not been updated nor does it work from what i have heard from a tester!
10-01-2015: [V1.4 STABLE]
1. Trickster Mod: Fixed CPU voltages! Its more stable now!
2. Trickster Mod: Updated On-Demand Governor! I tweaked the settings a little bit! The user can try the setting if they want! By default it is 0.2 but 0.3 is the testing settings (That is if it shows both!)
3. SetCPU: Multimedia - Video: Added Popcorn Time Remote
4. SetCPU: Google Chrome: Put MAX CPU freq/speed from 1728MHz to 1958MHz
5. SetCPU: Charging (AC/USB): Put MAX CPU freq/speed from 2572MHz to 2457MHz
6. SetCPU: Screen Off: Changed Governor from conservative to On Demand for better proformance when waking the display hopefully battery life will not change. Please change the Governor to conservative because On Demand drains a little battery. It sat in 268MHz for a hour because the Governor was being hyperactive!
7. GPU Navigation and Maps NOW enabled and added Maps (Google Maps) The reason it was disabled was because i was having issues with it not switching to profile when Google Maps was opened. Still testing this profile! Tell me if you got it to work and how!
11-08-2015: [V1.5 STABLE]
1.Trickster Mod: Fixed/tweaked the Voltages! The devices seems more stable for me but i still tweaking the to get the most out of the device!
2.Trickster Mod: The OnDemand Governor was tweaked but i'm still using the 0.2 version because it seems to be the most perfect for everything!
3. SetCPU: I made too many changes and upgrades to the profiles to be able to write them all down. I made to new profiles Games HD large and small.
11-11-2015: [V1.6 STABLE-TESTING]
1. SetCPU: Changed MAX CPU freq for Screen Off profile from 576MHz down to 499MHz
2. SetCPU: Added TrueCaller and TrueDialer to the Phone, Contacts profile
3. SetCPU: Tweaked some other small things that forgot.
4. Trickster Mod: Complete Redo/Remake of the already extreme under voltage settings! This is still be tweaked! Not 100% stable yet. I've had a few crashing while using my phone.
11-13-2015: [V1.6.1 STABLE-TESTING]
1. SetCPU: No changes. Comes with the same file that is in 1.6 STABLE-TESTING package
2. Trickster Mod: More speaking of the voltages. Still have crashing here and there but i'm still working on perfecting it!
SEE NEWEST/LATEST THREAD POST TO SEE THE VOLTAGE TABLE COMPARED TO STOCK VOLTAGES!
11-18-2015: [V1.6.2 STABLE-TESTING]
1. SetCPU: Camera: Changed Max frew from 1728 to 1958 and changed governor from conservative to OnDemand.
2. SetCPU: Multimedia Video: Changed Max freq from 1958 to 1728 because i kept getting crashing while playing YouTube videos in 720p 60FPS
3. SetCPU: Multimedia Music: Changed Max freq from 2265 to 1958 because i was getting better battery life with Google Play Music.
4. Trickster Mod: Tweaking of the voltages. It's a lot more stable now! I'm getting a whole day of battery life with light to medium use and still get 80% of battery at the end of the day!
Please report back after updating!
If you encounter any device crashing please tell me
Looks awesome bro, good work!

Just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be easier to use Synapse and share the profile vs using two apps. Maybe you have your reasons so don't take this as anything other than me thinking out loud.

None taken! The reason I use these 2 apps are because Synapse is horrible! (My opinion) if you would perfery I can try to build my settings into that app for those who use it! Tomorrow I'll be releasing a new build of the files with much need tweaking.

Na man, no worries. Was more curious than anything. Synapse for me personally just has too many settings and for someone like me more ways to make a hot mess. Lol
I use kernel adiutor mainly because its baked into the rom and one less app I need to install.

After looking for a way to backup settings in kernel adiutor. i couldnt find a way to back them up. If you know how then please tell me! If i can back them i will upload them in the next update.
I'm not 100%, but this should be what to do...
In the app Tools/Profile/hit the + tab/tic select all or ?/ and it creates the settings profile
This part I'm willing to test with you. In your file explorer app go to the root tab.
/data/data/com.grarak.kerneladiutor/files/profiles.json
This is the profile you created. I'm assuming if I placed your file in the same folders on my device I would see the profile you created.

What i did is i used a app called NOMone Resolution Changer to change the resolution to 1080p with the DPI to 320. Putting the resolution to 1080p helps in battery life and proformance!
I'm running CM12.1! Check out the JediROM! Its by the same dev that made the kernel! I don't use it but its still a great ROM! I prefer CM12.1 [I make the kernel settings]

Ah, yes. I've used that many times. Prefer to stay on 1440p due to the extra crispiness of the small text, but I have seen some small battery savings doing 1080p.
Thanks for your setup, I am playing around with it to tweak to my liking.

Tweak Android Devices to Faster and Free More RAM with This Mod For GB,JB,ICE,KK

What Is This??
If you got a good phone, it should have good specs. However, sometimes we do not get the performance we expect from our devices and in most cases it is due to faulty configuration of how hardware resources are used or the way the user uses a device.
We all expect good performance and battery life from the smartphone or tablets device we use. And if you think you are not getting that with the default settings of your device, there are ways to make it perform better in terms of speed, faster response, reduced lag and better battery efficiency. Thanks to the brilliant developer community we have as Android users that there are always some or other solutions to fix such things.
If you experience lag on your phone and think it’s not performing decently, you should give a try to the YoPro-Script mod by ShivaY. The mod targets various issues that usually concern users. It fixes low RAM issue, improves battery performance, reduces lag, adjusts CPU and GPU frequencies to the optimum, and so on. Below is a detailed list of things the script works its magic on:
Prevent Leaked RAM/system memory
Makes performance smoother
Lag fix
Better battery life
Balanced mod (gaming & multitask)
Net optimizer (responsive surfing)
Seeder (increases Entropy to reduce lag)
GPU Rendering (HW 3D force enable)
I/O Database Optimizer (SIO/Deadline : auto set. if there sio, sio will enable..if no, deadline will enable)
Storage Speed/Write Optimizer
CPU Governor Optimizer (Smartass/Hotplug/On-demand: auto set, if there Smartass, martass will enable.. if no, hotplug or on-demand will enable)
Touch responsive
Zipalign at boot (reduce footprint & optimized RAM usage)
Sound noise fixer
More…
Download YoPro-Script
YoPro-Script_v2.6_GB_JB_ICS_KK.Zip
Requirements
YoPro-Script mod has been tested and found working on a range of Android devices including the Nexus 5, Xperia Play, Huawei Honor, Galaxy Note 3 (with CM11), Galaxy Star, etc. The mod works on all Android devices running Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean and KitKat. Needless to say, you must have root access and a custom recovery (CWM/TWRP) to flash it. You also need to install the latest BusyBox. And yes, make sure you are not using any other custom scripts already. Another thing, we highly recommend you try it on a custom ROMs with init.d support.
How to Install
Download the mod file in zip from above and copy it to your phone.
Reboot your phone in recovery mode.
Make a nandroid backup first.
Then install the .Zip file and reboot device.
Thanks

Gaming advice (Nougat) don't spam

Hello guys after I tried a lot of ROMs combo kernels roms blabla if any1 want to try its free and trust me u will love it.
The best combo its here super smooth
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298984356 RRD by movzx notice the 09-09-2017 build (Nougat)
https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1RiBJVEj4Y2aBnGQFwa7fhpDMPJOYOrsb Shadow Kernel 4.7 choose settings for performance-hexa core and apply undervolt and disable f-sync/ choose permissive selinux (if u want any magisk module)
Apply those settings in darkness app for gaming
Turn off arch power
Change both thermals to 80 Celsius
And happy gaming!
Small update: if any1 want vulkan api (cuz some apps support that API ofc) use the guide to enable it vulkan api activator etc
Also I added some photos to check battery usage too it was 4 hour of gaming 1 hour lost as u can compare cuz from one restart I had to do cuz forgot to enable my sound mods on magisk xd

Thanks for the advice. I read somewhere that disabling f-sync causes instability and some issues. If I skip disabling f-sync and leave it as-is and apply all other settings, will it still be fine?
@habitbuilderwarrior yes you can leave it on but here no problems cuz never had a random reboot to loose data etc its up to u
I don't play games, but love performance for daily usage too. Have undervolting improved battery backup during gaming too?
