Maybe 3 sec is not 1GB but may I ask what you will do with a 3 sec sample?
To get a good understanding ot that sample I think you need a bit more.
BTW, at the moment it will impossible to get that sample as the Z2 it's not bayed by many at the moment.

I just need video Codec info. Some people in Asia already own a z2.

Camera module confusion hardware mod

hi all devs,
i have searched lots of on internet and came to know that camera hardware in sk17i mini pro is same as in arc and in neo. may be its limited to 5mp, also i have seen both camera from outside and almost they are same in looking, haven't gone under because of warranty. now one more confusion why mini pro camera don't have zoom in video mode, its only have in still mode. is arc, and neo also have same problem. how can i come to know that they have same camera module, help appriciated, i just want to unlock the camera limitations.
i do have this doubt because earlier SE announce this mini pro with exmor r sensor but after some time it has been removed may be its a sales marketing ideas.
so guys please suggest me something to know this deeply. can i see something in hardware config from the rom provided by DooMLoRD.
You can zoom when taking pictures?

There is a zoom function in software, I do it using volume keys, but pinch zoom should work too.

I'd per highly surprised. Looking at that tiny lens on the SK17, I'm surprised it can even do the 5MP photos let alone a 8.1 MP. Other thing to note is the camera could look the same, but not have the same internals, as you have pointed out, the SK17 doesn't have the exmor r sensor, which would make a significant difference in PQ.
It would be interesting to learn if the cameras are in fact the same part number, but I suppose that would mean tearing down the phones and finding part numbers.
Regards,
Mike

One of the devs from the Timeshift 4K thread in cross device section said he needed system dump from Ultra to see if it might work. As far as I know no one ever supplied one.

try using ''MX Player Pro'' ?
@DUHAlgerianSkills Yes, but same... I think you have t800: as hardware is same, do you have freezes?
You need a 13 megapixel or higher camera to record in 4k resolution. All versions of the Tab S only have an 8 megapixel camera so it is not possible.

Ummmm..... the resolution of the screen is 1600x2560 for both tablets. Neither tablet supports video out (through an adaptor) at anywhere close to 4k resolution. So what is the point? You do not gain anything for getting a 4k video to run and you end up withna file that takes up extra space or bandwidth.
I kinda understand wanting to record 4k video, but my issue with doing thst is that if you want to record a file that is going to contain that much visual clarity you probably should pick a better camera lens then what you get on the average tablet/smartphone.
I love the screen that Samsung has put on the galaxy tab S. I love the fact my 8.4" is retina (impossible or at least very hard to notice individual pixels) at a distance of 10" (12" for the 10.5" model).

idk
I managed to record video in 4K 24fps using the open camera or LG camera app has the playstore
I know the files are huge, especially using superfine pixel resolution and other picture enhancing features. I have a Samsung NX1 camera which records 4K video, and UHD 4K, and it uses approx 100MB a minute. That's not as bad as a Red Dragon Video Camera, which records video at 250MB a second.

Question Recording 4K 60fps in 16:9?

According to TechNick's review video, Xperia 1 III has no option to record 60fps in full 4K resolution of 3840×2160 (16:9), but only cropped 3840×1644 (21:9), even in Cinema Pro. Is this true? If so, would there be any workaround to record 3840×2160 @ 60fps? I pray someone makes a mod to unlock this functionality.

mcpro24fps this one might help, i saw ssomeone mentioned about it on youtu.be
I am waiting om my shipment, so can not verify that is a solution. Sorry
There's a free and open-source solution if the camera hardware supports 4k60 - OpenCamera. Works great with recent Sony phones because there isn't too much proprietary stuff in camera hardware.

the problem is, on my device it didn't have access to other sensors than main 24mm and the front-facing one.
I use filmic pro and mcpro24fps
