Feature Request: multi tasking - Paranoid Android Features Development

So I have been using PA as my daily driver for awhile now and I love the features that are integrated into the rom but I was wondering if you guys are planning some kind of multi tasking optimization?
For example slimrecents?

Best ROM?

I'm looking to switch from ICS-Crumble (it is AOKP based) I LOVE ROM Control. What ROM can offer similar customization? I want to use the Bluetooth patch, as well as working soft button backlights. (I have USA SGP 5.0) Should I use paranoid? What are its downsides? Opinionated replies are welcomed. Thank you.

I use paranoid..did not reset one single time..and its cool that you can combine phone or tablet us and change dpi for every single app and everything you see diferently with out even reseting...and there are themes and stuff rom is a winner in every way if you ask me..if only camera and hw working would be perfect.

+1 for the ParanoidAndroid... I came from CM9 (Jack's) which I had for a quite a long time... I tried a few other ICS roms but ended up back at CM9. But, once I loaded Parandroid, I was hooked... Very polished and quite stable. I am using Holo Launcher even though the stock launcher worked fine for me.
Good luck.
I am also using Paranoid. Very nice.

It probably requires TouchWiz framework. So no.

How to disable googlenow / google search swipe up gesture

I wanted to disable the googlenow / google search swipe up launch from the bottom bar.
The reason - to use swipepad for another gesture.
I have seen apps in the market that disable the launch of the google app, but the ring still shows up and cannot be used for another app.
Can anyone suggest a way of doing it ?
Thanks
Which phone are you using and are you on stock or a custom ROM?

The Slim Bean ROM that I use can set multiple ring targets to whatever you want.

Brightness gesture

Hi all,
Does anyone know how if there is a way to increase / decrease the brightness of the screen by using a finger gesture?
Like a 2 finger swipe or such...
Thanks!

On many off the newer JB roms.. there is a built in gesture for brightness on the statusbar.. you slide you're finger back and forth on the status bar to increase and decrease brightness..

True Icon Theme Req

Can anyone port True Icon Theme for Tablet (note 10.1 2014)? the look and feel would be awesome for it. It works on Note 3, so no clue why won't.

These toggles style would look awesome on the note 10.1 2014 pull down. The true icon will theme some of the pts but not the toggle bar so that is what I'm trying to figure out.

I believe that it works on 4.2 jellybean which is what the note 3 comes with. Once I updated to 4.3 it no longer worked.
Good luck. Awwesome theme!!

True icon 4.3 does partially work, just not toggles, so I must use Wanam until then. Wondering if a skilled person can get this going. Dutch Danny got a custom kernel for us, Scotts rom clear rom kicks butt, then dark horse inverted apps are fully themed, but requires custom kernel.....
Just need the toggles then my tablet is close to where I want it.
Themed keyboard would be nice as well

I took a look inside the flashable zip for the True Icon Theme, and compared it against our original framework-res.apk. Almost everything points to hdpi resolutions, while our tablet has xhdpi resolutions. I have a feeling the theme would need to be rescaled to work on our device, or it won't look correctly. Best suggestion would be to see if the author would make a version for our tablets.

The author stopped supporting it after 4.2.2....someone else ported it with their permission to 4.3 on omega rom. I understand what you are saying on hdpi vs xhdpi...just hope someone can make it happen. I'd be willing to donate.
