Yes. The Wave is an x201, so pretty much anything that works on the TrueSmart, Callisto 100, AW-414, and a number of other x201 smartwatches will work on the Wave.

I've heard from many sources (also official) about BLE availability on Android 4.3 (from software side) for Samsung S3, so just after last update of my phone I've just bought Sigma R1 HRM but... it doesn't work on ANY (I've tried five different) 4.3 ROM. Only CM ROM (4.3.1) could pair properly with this HRM. So this functionality was included in 4.3 or not? Maybe someone could help to pair BLE accessories with SGS3 4.3?
What's more interesting. my girlfriend's Xperia V could pair with Sigma on Android 4.1.2!!! I don't know how it is possible if it is one of key feature 4.3?
P.S. Just for info: Endomondo on Android cannot handle BT Smart, it is not connected with android version.

To my knowledge, Omate has not released firmware for it since January. Even then the sensors did not work.
Not only that, Le Pen quite rudely said that those watches won't get the software update as the watches with only more modern firmware wouldget it for the time being as a way of saying sorry for the delay. I'm guessing it is because there is a flaw with the firmware and it can't update.
I am very close to tossing my truesmart in the bin.
The dev forum has a link to a ROM with better BlueTooth, but not "intended for standalone". Not sure about sensors.
Loki assembled a ROM with working sensors from another Umeox x201 watch.
He has deleted the link when leaving dev.

Omate do not have the competence to develop the firmware, they rely on MediaTek, that do not seem to do much better.

I am using Panasonic P81 which dont have KITKAT os update yet.
But news is this, PANASONIC LAUNCHES P55 WITH 5.5-INCH DISPLAY with KITKAT 4.4.2 OS.
Both these phones are quite similar in specs.
So, request for users of P81, CAN WE GET OS of this new phone ????
Apart from screen size p55 is nowhere near p81.. p55 is a low grade phone and still kitkat..
asking kitkat from a company who does not care to provide minor updates to rectify bugs is useless and this is the reason they have dropped its price from rs19000 to rs12000 for this wonderful device.. still panasonic can work on software updates to nominate p81 in the list of best devices of its time..
I agree. P81 is a very capable phone. If it gets kitkat makeover then nothing like it.

I was wondering why there are almost no Chinese tablets with android lollipop.
You can look at aliexpress and see that almost 95% percent of the tablet are android kitkat. And its already a year after the release.
Also I have not seen any rockchip based tablet with android lollipop.
It might be that the industry will skip a release?
