Anyone else get another software update notification this morning? I'm on a different ROM so I can't do it OTA, but there was definitely something that popped up and I've already done the initial out of the box update.

got email from samsung saying TW is waiting for me.
update was only to lock my unlocked tab...
no more updates and no samsung apps. unrooted OTA.
I'm in Europe.
2 problems:
1. will i get the new TW while i'm out of US?
2. what happend with the samsung apps app ?

I'm in Australia, imported my GT10.1 32GB WiFi from the US and got the TouchWiz UX update just like everyone else has.
For some reason i cannot get the update. Its say no updates found.
Is it maybe because the bootloader update?

if you installed the previous leaked touchwiz ROM, it wont update
get back to stock ROM and it'll appear.
it'll update even if you're in another country (set US in Samsung account when checking for the update)
I just got a firmware update on my Prime. It is rebooting now. I hope it fixes some of the issues. I was just sitting their considering sending it back to Amazon.
Is it new firmware or the one that has been out a few days?

What version are you at now? I don't have an update yet...
.29 is the latest version out now unless this is a new one OP speaks of. I updated to. 29 on 12/22
edit: just ran the system update check and still shows no new update available yet.
I got one a few days ago.
I actually have 3 firmware updates. The second is a camera firmware update and then I got another notice of a new firmware update after rebooting after the first firmware update. I am doing the updates now. The first update took the firmware to 8.8.3.29.
It is doing the third update now.
The third firmware update is done but I don't notice a change in the build number is still says 8.8.3.29 but I am not sure if the other numbers changed. The last numbers are 20111202
If you're going to talk about an update, please list what version you're at after running it. Since we're all getting our Primes at different times, it's possible that we're all talking about the same .29 update.

It's there any way to tell whether you've received the camera firmware update? I've had a few crashes caused by the camera app, and I'm wondering if this will help.

If it's not asking you to install it then you have it.

Oddly enough, I never got a separate camera update, but my camera version is TF201-0x9890 on my Champagne model and TF201-0x9891 on my Gray model.
Weird. Firmware version is the same.

My camera version is TF201-0x9890. haven't had a firmware update since i got the prime on the 22nd.
I had the 9890 camera version before and after the update.

If so, I hope the GPS bug from the last leak is fixed.
"Current software is up to date" is all I see.
Anybody else? I am in Canada on Bell, on Team Perfection rom so I cannot verify anything here.

Happened on mine the other day (USA ATT), but my guess is that is the default message that appears when you check for a software update with weak/fringe cellular service.
I attached a screencap of the message.

Hey at&t, the wording of that message sucks and confuses people.
It happened to me the other day.... I checked xda and there were no party-popers going off so I cried :crying: a little and figured it was a false alarm
I doubt it will come OTA. More likely on Kies like the SGSII on ATT.

my Korean Galaxy note is trying to update with a 34.75MB update i am not sure what it is as my phone will not take it because it is rooted and has a custom recovery. The phone reboots to install the update but fails. Any Ideal what I can do ?

do you think it could be the CWM recovery or the Root that is stopping the update or fail ? BTW I am already using Stock 4.0.3 Korean Phone Model E160L....dont know what this update is about

I know somebody found it and posted it, but did the OTA ever actually go? Verizon never updated their One max support doc (still showing the Kit Kat OTA http://www.verizonwireless.com/dam/support/pdf/system_update/one-max.pdf) and HTC still hasn't confirmed it on their software updates page (http://www.htc.com/us/go/htc-software-updates/).
Every other OTA I've received the day it rolled out, and I still have nothing on mine. Did you get the update OTA or flash the file linked here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2767922?
I haven't seen anything about when the official OTA will roll out, and my stock recovery isn't working, so I can't do it manually .

I RUU'ed back to stock Sense 6 then installed TWRP again.
If you check the HTC Software status website, you see that it is in the certification phase for Verizon.

Not posted yet here in New Jersey.
Update: as of 12 noon EST the update became avaialble via OTA.
I got it yesterday. Was hoping the Live Focus "improvements" would be more than just a UI change. Oh well, we'll get 8.1 before we know it [emoji23]
