Hello LG L9 II (D605) users. Here's a thread what people can easily find when googling and here's a quick overview what's available.

[Commonly asked questions]
[Q] How to update to KK?
[A] If you have root and CWM install the flashable .zip. If you have stock unrooted JB use OTA.
[Q] How to root the stock KK rom?
[A] Use the method Varcain provided if you have CWM. If not use Towelroot but remeber that you cannot install CWM if you rooted your KK with Towelroot. (When you update to KK via any other method than CWM you lock your bootloader and the only way to unlock is to flash JB.kdz!)
[Q] I have a bricked device (softbrick with no CWM), how to fix?
[A] Install the stock JB .kdz or stock KK .kdz.
[Q] I have a bricked device (hardbrick), how to fix?
[A] Try smashing it into a wall (It's a joke). (How have you managed to hardbrick it?)
[Q] I have other questions or things related to LG D605, what to do?
[A] Share your news or problems with D605 in this thread.
[Q] Is XPosed framework working on stock roms?
[A] Yes, Xposed framework is working on both JB and KK stock roms.
[Q] How to install a .kdz?
[A] (Tutorial thanks to @[W]ar[H]ead, confirmed working by TaZRAge)
#1) First to get into download mode:
1. Remove battery
2. Put usb to computer and phone (w/o battery)
3. Hold "Vol up" button
4. Put battery back
You will get into download mode (aka emergency mode).
#2) Unpack kdz flasher, and install msxml.msi.
#3) Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe set "type" to 3GQCT and "phonemode" to DIAG.
#4) Choose the .kdz file to flash. Download link is under the "Downloads"
#5) Click "Launch software update" and wait. Phone must be connected in download mode(!). KDZ installer might get stuck but DO NOT disconnect it. (Unless it stays that way for a hour as a example)
NOTE: .kdz is a .kdz, you cannot extract it. If you get a .zip from the LG .kdz site you did something wrong.
[Q] How to boot to CWM without root?
[A]
1. Reinsert battery
2. Hold Power+Vol Up+Home for about ten seconds a white text appears, that says "Release all buttons" you have 500ms time if it reboots start from step 1 again.
YOU HAVE TO BE VERY EXACT! (If you once installed CWM you have it even when you flashed KK .zip)
[Q] How to downgrade to stock JB(without CWM)?
[A] Flash the .kdz
[Q] Unable to mount /data in CWM, how to fix?
[A] You most likely entered the recovery trough hard reset combo, that caused the problem. Use vol up+power combo next time, it might be a little harder to enter then but it will not cause any problems then. To fix the problem format /data/media from CWM.
[Q] What's the difference between v20a and v20b(or v20c) .kdz?
[A] v20b or v20c might be all branded, it is better to use unbranded versions as carriers may install some bloat or lock some functions. Use v20a OPEN_EU if possible (if you want you may install v20b or c to a unbranded phone too), if you already have branded JB then it may make more sense.
[Q] How to enable USB debugging on KK rom?
[A] Go to "About phone" menu and click the build number repeatedly to access developer settings.
[Q] I am unable to format /data in CWM, how to fix it?
[A] You most likely entered the recovery via Factory Reset combination (don't do that) and you deleted the /data partition. To fix format /data and /data/media .
[Q] How to downgrade to JB?
[A] Install JB .kdz (available from the link provided, either v10a or v10b)
[Q] I want to install CM 11, what should I wipe before install?
[A] Everything exept External SD
[Q] I am unable to install CWM with the method Varcain has provided, how to fix?
[A] Post the error here. (If you got "invalid path" then http://lmgtfy.com/?q=file+path and open the wikipedia thread)
[Q] How to install CWM on Stock KK?
[A] *in progress*
[Q] Why isn't there any sound coming from the second "speaker" from the bottom?
[A] Because one of the "speakers" is actually a microphone. (One of the stereo speakers is at the top, one at the bottom of the phone)
[Q] What should I wipe to install Cyanogenmod?
[A] Wipe everything except external SD. (including /data/media - internal storage, to avoid storage losses and ensure smooth experience)

It might be the fact that the widgets are build into the launcher and available only from the stock launcher. Like GO Launcher has some.

There is always a chance that you can lose your data. So better backup before update.

The timing must be exact, if you release the keys too soon or too late the device (re)boots.

I have 1gb free, and about 1.6gb used. Total storage is 3.94gb, so 1.3gb is missing

[Q][UPDATE] CWM can't install ROMs properly - Stuck on Samsung Logo

Okay okay.. hello. I'm a new girl at XDA and thus new to all this rooting stuff.
First and foremost, I'm on Android 2.3.6. I used the XWLA4 insecure kernel to flash my SGS2 (since my official Samsung kernel is indeed XWLA4) and used S2Root to install BusyBox and superuser, but I had no CWM recovery so I manually installed CWM 4.0.0.2 via Odin.
It worked like a charm Now came the time to flash a custom firmware. I was thinking of MIUI, CM7 (because I didn't like stock ICS that much) and this new Fatal1ty Extreme ROM. In fact, I liked said ROM so much that I wanted to have it on my phone + the Red theme. And that's where the annoyance began..
I've carefully read all the instructions, but I didn't understand one:
"Copy the ROM to the Root dir of your SD card."
I thought it was just some directory in my USB storage, so I connected my device to my computer and connected the USB storage, yet I didn't find any folder named "Root" or anything that resembled a root directory.
After 1 hour of googling and extensive research, I was so annoyed that I just dragged the ROM + Theme to my USB storage.
I boot into CWM recovery, did a wipe (data/factory reset, dalvik cache wipe etc.) and then installed the ROM. When I rebooted, THIS happened:
I was stuck at the first screen, the one that said "Samsung Galaxy SII" on it with the yellow triangle!
And this screen did not go away until I boot my phone into download mode and flashed the official XWLA4 kernel from Samsung, aka unroot my phone.
After Unroot, my phone worked like normal. No bootloops, no being stuck on the first screen etc.
Can someone please shed light on this? Touchwiz isn't exactly my cup of tea anymore and I really would like to give my phone a custom look ._.
Thanks in advance
EDIT: It seems that this problem seems big, as every ROM that I flash (with wipes) takes <5 seconds to finish, and that usually means that it's a bad flash ._.
Can someone tell me how to solve this?
I've carefully read all the instructions, but I didn't understand one:
"Copy the ROM to the Root dir of your SD card
Root = copy the rom to the sd card not inside any folder .
DO NOT put anything in usb storage it is not the instructions for anything SD CARD only internal not the external one .
Connect phone to pc in usb mass storage mode copy the rom to the phones internal sd card only .
follow with CWM and root phone via Odin
Root + CWM .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399
Then boot to recovery and install the rom .
That is an excellent choice of rom by the way .

Well, I didn't put it in any folder and certainly not in the folder that says "usbStorage" on it. Please excuse me for my aloofness in this matter as I still don't quite understand how to access my internal SD card.
I have USB-debugging enabled and when I connect to my storage, I have something like this:

So, which one of these is the internal SD card? ._.

Doesn't work Tried that, but still doesn't go past the first screen..
EDIT: Maybe I should just flash it and then wait for it to boot.. I read similar situations where people flashed ROMs and they too were stuck on a boot screen, but in reality it really took so long due to the caches being rebuilt ._.
I'll try that. If anyone has suggestions, post in here

Unrooted again.
I want to flash Fatal1ty Extreme with the Fatal1ty Red Theme package ._.
I'm on the stock XXKI4 firmware with the XWLA4 kernel ._.
When I root my phone with CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OXA_LA4-v5.0-CWM5 kernel from Chainfire, the root is fine but when I flash Fatal1ty via CWM, it says "installation complete" but I can't get past the first screen ._.
When I root my device with the XWLA4 insecure kernel and then root it with S2Root, still nothing.
I even tried flashing Redpill 1.3 (auto-root) and then flash Fatal1ty, still nothing..
I'm always stuck at the first screen ._.

Looking at the pic you posted you've downloaded the rom and theme twice (?). It will prevent a sucessful flash. Experience.

Agree numbered zip makes no difference if it ends as .zipYou can even rename the zip.

Well every time I tried flasing a file like that ( e.g : update-cm-9-20120331-CODEWORKX-galaxys2-signed(2).zip) it will not work.
I tried two different ROMs: The Thebyani ICS one and the VK ICS one.. both have the same problem as Fatal1ty: They're stuck on the boot screen.
EDIT: It seems that this problem seems big, as every ROM that I flash (with wipes) takes <5 seconds to finish, and that usually means that it's a bad flash ._.
Can someone tell me how to solve this?
Okay, here's a sum-up of the problem thus far:
1. Root is fine with any kernel, device functions without any problems.
2. When I want to flash a custom ROM via CWM, it takes <5 seconds to finish and is stuck at the boot logo.
3. Unrooting solves this.
Something must be faulty with the device... Flashing kernels and back to stock is without any complications, yet when I wanna flash a custom ROM, it's stuck at the boot logo ._.

Hi! Here I am with the new Android 4.3 Touchwiz rom. It's rooted, deodexed, knox free + does NOT flash the new bootloader (NO KNOX WARRANTY ON BOOTLOADER). It would not be possible to make it work without DerTeufel1980 kernel (Devil Kernel) - THANKS! Also THANKS to Chainfire for the SuperUser binaries + app! Since I am not a N7105 owner the development may be very slow.
I am a college student so any donation is very appreciated and will be very helpful (hahaha). Anyway, thanks everyone and enjoy the rom!

Any chance we could use air commands from note 3 on this rom?
no root support!
super su message:
there is no SU binary installed and superSU cannot install it.
I've run into some problems:
- SuperSU says that no SU-binary is installed and that i may need to re-root the system again
- I can't reboot into CWM because the Volume Up + Menu Button combination doesn't work now
- I can't reboot into CWM via Rom Manager as it needs root access to be able to do that
Solution: I had to flash CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100 via ODIN 3.0 (as PDA), after which i had to re-install SuperSU from the Play Store, start it up, and let it install the binaries (via CWM). I could then update CWM in Rom Manager (which was version 5.0 instead of 6.0 for some reason), reboot into recovery and finally flash the Devil kernel.
Hopefully this can be helpful to anyone who'd run into the same problems.

I could then update CWM in Rom Manager (which was version 5.0 instead of 6.0 for some reason), reboot into recovery and finally flash the Devil kernel.
Hopefully this can be helpful to anyone who'd run into the same problems.

And can we flash from twrp or odin only? Would that wipe the recovery too?

actually its a zip. i think its twrp
I've just followed the instructions and have NO any issues in installation.
Able to go back to recovery and flash new kernel.
My wifi is working... will be testing it more and will report back in a few days time.
By the way, I have an international lte from hk.... oh and I was using Jedi X-17 (4.1.2) before this ROM.
Got the same error message when opening SuperSU and had to install CF-Auto-Root-t0lte-t0ltexx-gtn7105.zip via Odin3 (PDA). After this, have to install SuperSU from GooglePlay. I also installed TriangleAway.

so you didnt already have 4.3 ?
Why can't we install Devil kernel from the begining, instead of flash the stock one first and then Devil?
Thanks
Yes that's right. I was waiting for 4.3 from Jedi but am a bit impatient and tried this one. So far so good. Running very fast.

Sorry for the mess with SU, I included wrong one by mistake. It shoudn't be a problem at all as you can just go into cwm and flash UPDATE SuperUser 1.75 from Chainfire... REVERTING AND UPLOADING V1.1

Good Day

I have a problem about my Android Phone, last last month was my first time to have an android phone and im very excited to install apps and somehow to customize it.
One day while searching and reading on google I saw something interesting which is Rooting Android, I tried it and successfully rooted my phone and there's no problem but I know that if my phone is rooted I can customize my ROM, Upgrade my phone version and etc.. Im very interested with that, so I used to search more about how to install custom ROM and I have read some forum threads that has a steps on how to install custom rom and what tools to used, i dont know if that's what im looking for but I just followed the intructions and steps and then applied it on my phone.
When im about to install Custom ROM I used MTKdroidtools for my O+ 8.2 Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread for creating backups, after that procedure there's a notification that I will reboot my android phone via CWM Recovery Mode then I reboot it, then it turned off and turned on I know that im in Recovery Mode because I have encountered it before.
Then here comes my crazy idea and I don't know why but I just continued to do it, I clicked the Wipe Data or Wipe All Cache Data I forgot it then after that the next thing I did was to installed the Custom ROM("ICS_DARK_BREED_V_A818_by_BassureroX") which I have downloaded on my SD Card then reboot my phone again and then its not working anymore I mean it's stack in bootloop which my friend says that's what happened to my phone, I regret on what I have done I really need to recover my phone back to normal again please help me.
Is there any thing I can do? I hope there's still a solution for my phone problem.
Thank You.

Use paragraph, your post is very difficult to read.
Now, regarding your problem, try to wipe /system, /data and /cache from recovery, flash the rom and wipe /data and /cache again.

I meant the app didn't show the paragraphs in your post. Anyway, the only way to boot a turned off phone in recovery is by a key combo, generally POWER + VOL+ or POWER + VOL-, depending on the model

I can now enter to the recovery mode sir.
*Here is a short explanation for what really happened:
I have an android phone(Rooted & ROM Manager installed).
I used MTK Droidtools for backups, rebooted and autoCWM was created.
I Wiped Data/Factory Reset then Install the Custom ROM from SD Card, when finished i rebooted my phone then its not working anymore.
But i can charge it and i can also enter to autoCWM when pressing Power Button+Camera Button+Volume Up Button.
is there anything i can do?

Yes, if you can boot into recovery mode then you can try flashing another rom for your phone, maybe checking the integrity of the file before flashing it

I had a look on the net, and I could not find any stock nor custom rom for your model. I think you flashed a rom for another model, and of course now the phone is obviously not booting.
If you can find a way to return to stock rom you're good to go, maybe looking on the website of the manifacturer, otherwise there is nothing much to do..
Keep in mind for the next time to double check what you're flashing, and to always backup first.

[RECOVERY][vk810][6.0.5.1] ClockworkMod 6.0.5.1 Unofficial
Code:
*** Disclamer
This is only for the vk810 Verizon LTE model (product name altev)
Introduction
I recently took over porting CM11.0 for paperWastage. For the sake of completeness and to give users more options, I built ClockworkMod 6.0.5.1 since we already had TWRP thanks to the efforts of drGravy and others. This is a flashable zip, so you need to have the loki patched TWRP already installed. I will work on a way to directly loki flash CWM onto these tablets, but for now, feel free to flash this recovery.

Installation instructions
Need latest custom recovery (TWRP, ...?). You can use towelroot or this offline root or Kingo online-root (nor preferred) to root from stock ROM
Do nandroid backup in recovery
Wipe dalvik/cache/system
This recovery is only for vk810 verizon LTE-version only.
Flash this CWM recovery .zip as you normally would
This should go without saying, but rebooting to recovery via power menu or
Code:
adb reboot recovery
does not work because of LG's laf.img (what enables download mode). You have to power off the device and then power on holding power+volume down. Then select Factory Reset, which will then boot you into recovery.

Bugs?
- (1/23/15) There is a bug with the recovery.fstab (I think) where it defaults mounting /dev/mmcblk0 to /sdcard. mmcblk0 is a block device and not a file system, and the correct path for /sdcard should be /data/media/0 for internal SD and 1 for external SD. I need to dig into it further to figure out how to fix it. My first attempt at fixing this morning resulted in a non bootable recovery.img

I'm assuming you solved your issue then? Forgive my ignorance, could you explain what "last two questions" are that should be answered no and no?
@N00b-un-2, thanks again. Installed fine, used it to wipe cache and flash your CM11 and made a backup of CM11 after configuring it. Haven't tested a restore yet.
I also wanted to note in response to the warning in your OP that rebooting to recovery from the power menu doesn't work. It works for me (from the power options enabled from Developement). I can make and upload a video if necessary.
Yes,,,upon reboot of the stock 4.4.2 lg rom clockwork mod ask you if you'd like to prevent stock recovery or something to that affect and then says " you may have lost root do you want CM to fix now? Yes or no....if you answer these two questions with anything but " no and no" you will lose root. It may be trivia to people in the know, but first i lost root had to restore recovery through adb then restore the backup ( thank God i made one upon switching to Clockwork from twrp)....

Oh, I see. I didn't occasion to see those questions because I flashed his CM11 after flashing this recovery. Thanks, good to know (if I remember if I ever use this with stock).
I should have clarified that I meant on the stock firmware. Reboot to recovery works fine on CM11, but has been hit or miss for me on the official firmware.

That means that your tablet is not properly rooted. What root method did you use? I ran into this when I rooted using Kingo Root, but not stump or towel. You may be able to fix this by
Code:
su
mount -o remount,rw /system
chmod 4755 /system/xbin/su
reboot
basically, if SuperSU is giving you the "su binary needs to be updated" error and it fails, then you're not properly rooted.

Hi! Here's a mirror in my sections on Android File Host.
Just to be clear, this recovery was compiled by @N00b-un-2. I am just temporarily or permanently hosting a mirror of it on AFH. @N00b-un-2, let me know if you want me to take my copy down, and likewise if you want to put my link in your OP that's fine too.
what is going on with the recoveries on this device? The link to TWRP is broken. I accidentally deleted the CWM recovery I built a few months back and the VM I was temporarily "borrowing" to build on was retired.
I am in the process of building CWM recovery again, should be ready later today, barring any unforseen circumstances. I'm going to take a stab at compiling a new version of TWRP, but I'm having quite a few problems at the moment.
In the mean time here is a link to DrGravy's TWRP 2.7.0.2 and 2.7.0.1
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hanc02rjutt5k10/VK810_twrp_2.7.0.1.zip?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/tx0amj50k7fi6ff/vk810-TWRP_2.7.0.2-recovery.zip?dl=0
And also, in case anyone is interested, here is a link to they Cyanogen Recovery. I was a bit surprised when I went to build CWM again based on the CM-12.1 sources that the recovery it built was no longer CWM, but rather Cyanogen Recovery. Nonetheless, it will allow you to flash ROMs
https://www.dropbox.com/s/edp0up3bfon421i/vk810-cyanogen-recovery.zip?dl=0
Like I said, I should have CWM up again later today I just have to pull down the CM-11.0 sources and build again.

First you have to root your VK810, which is easiest under build 24A or below using the Stump apk.
Then look for the TWRP v2.7.0.1 thread for the VK810 in Original Development. You have to start with that version then flash whatever newer custom recovery you want from there.
You can't flash custom things from stock recov recovery.
If you're meaning that your custom recovery won't mount the external Micro SD card, you could download this custom recovery to internal storage. Or you could format your external Micro SD card from TWRP after backing up the contents of it to your PC.
Sometimes device's custom recoveries have problems with cards formatted on a PC. Mine doesn't but I've seen others have trouble.

I haven't really fooled around much with trying to manually apply OTAs. I was successful with the VS985 12B->23A/B/C beta and final OTAs but not once since then. The way that worked for 12B->23C didn't work for me for 23C->24B. I more provided the files for other people to try too, in hopes that if they did find success, they'd report it and describe what they did. No one's done so.
As you found out, you can't flash OTAs from a custom recovery - you have to be fully stock never rooted (since the most recent time you flashed a KDZ or TOT) in order to take OTAs.
Also, you're posting in the wrong place. This is the LG G Pad 8.3 section, and this is the ClockworkMod Recovery thread, nothing related to OTAs for the VS985. I have a thread for the VS985 OTAs in the General section of the Verizon G3 forums, but as I said, no one's reported having success with 23C->24B or higher.
Why not just flash the 24B KDZ or whatever release you're wanting to be on? It's a lot easier than trying to manually apply an OTA. If you're only incrementing one step in releases (23C->24B) for the VS985, you could probably get away with using the "Normal" option which doesn't wipe your data, although I'd use the built-in LG Backup first just in case and save the backup to the external MicroSD card.
If you're wanting to be rooted and on 24B or another higher version, just wipe from custom recovery and flash a 24B or whatever ROM. There's versions of JasmineROM and SkyDragon that are made with 24B - I think JasmineROM v8 and SkyDragon v5.
If you're not rooted or don't have custom recovery, flash the 10B KDZ with the CSE option (which wipes all data including internal storage), root with the Stump app, use TWRP Manager from the Play Store to install TWRP, then flash JasmineROM v8 and the 24B Bootstack from @xdabbeb 's VS985 v2.0 thread.

Then maybe I have the wrong file. I'm trying to get the clockworkmod recovery on a VK810 with 4.2.2 rooted and TWRP 2.7.0.1 recovery. The original source for cwm 6.0.5.1 is a dropbox that isn't there any more. I thought the file I mentioned was the equivalent. Maybe my problem is that I don't know where to find cwm 6.0.5.1 for the VK810.

Thanks for accidentally discovering that I had the right file named wrong, and the wrong file named the right thing in the same place! Sorry about the confusion.
Edit 3: I am NOT having a good day. I managed to delete the wrong file both on my local PC I just downloaded them to, and on AFH. *grumble* I'm looking for another copy, I might have it on my PC at home or on my flash drive.
@b52apl
Do *you* still have the file you had originally downloaded? The .7z one that said VS985 and OTA? If you rename it to .zip it should work - the contents looked fine when I checked after I did that, but then I accidentally deleted it, and I had already purposely deleted it on AFH since I thought it was the wrong file. If you still have the original zip could you upload it somewhere so I can put it back on AFH? I've also PM'd the OP to see if he still has the file.
I can't believe I did all that.
You can still use TWRP v2.8.7.0 (flash the new version from your existing 2.7.0.1) in the meantime if you wish. It's in one of these sections - my stickied guide in the General section should have a link to the thread if you can't find it.

I still have the file. I don't have a personal place to upload it to. If you send me a message with an address, I'll upload it to wherever you want it. The file is 9.52Mb. Just to be clear, I converted it to a .zip file, but TWRP refused to install it. Should I have tried to restore it as a backup file?

I'll PM you a link to a folder on my Google Drive that I gave public permissions to upload.
When you say you converted it to a zip, what exactly did you do? Did you just rename the file or something else? I'll still take a look at it, see if I can figure it out, and as long as I can extract the recovery.img from the zip, then I can make a fresh zip if necessary.
No, you wouldn't be able to restore it because it's not a TWRP backup.
If you upgrade to TWRP 2.8.7.0 then you can choose it's option to flash am Image instead of Zip and can try flashing the recovery.img if you can extract that from the zip, but probably best to be safe and let me test first.
@b52apl
Good news! I was able to rename the file to vk810-CWM_6.0.5.1-recovery-by-N00b-un-2.zip and it worked perfectly. I was able to flash it, reboot recovery and was in CWM recovery. Mind you, I wasn't on TWRP v2.7.0.1 any more - I was already upgraded to TWRP v2.8.7.0, so I don't know if there's any compatibility issue with the much earlier version of TWRP. Once I rebooted in CWM Recovery, I was able to flash the TWRP v2.8.7.0 zip back and reboot recovery again, although I had to turn CWM's Advanced menu/Lokify option off first. I was also able to extract the recovery.img from the zip and as I suggested, it's got to be fine to flash that directly from TWRP v2.8.7.0 which has the option to switch from displaying Zips to displaying Img's, and then to flash it.
I also had a text file with the original MD5 hash of the "vk810-CWM_6.0.5.1-recovery-by-N00b-un-2.zip" I had uploaded previously, and it was the same MD5 so I know it wasn't corrupted:

Thanks again for the re-upload!

Thanks! :good:
It works fine on SM-J500G too. But I have to flash the stock firmware after flashing twrp with odin on my rooted device. My device cannot boot into system, keep booting into twrp every time I reboot from twrp menu. After flashing stock firmware and and re-flash twrp, my device can now boot into system when I choose reboot from twrp menu. Thanks for the twrp tar file.

So if I understand correctly... You restored a old backup but it didn't restore the apps. If that's the case, did it say any errors when you tried to restore

Sadly I really don't know what could cause the issue. My best guess is the boot.img . Once I am at home I will send you some instructions how to flash the boot.img
OK instructions.
To flash bootimg download the stock Rom from sammobile. Then open the ZIP. Next open the ZIP inside the ZIP by removing .md5 . then take out the boot.img. once you enter twrp flash the Boot.IMG.with the flash IMG option
I just tried it in my j500m and it worked! Now just waiting for a great rom

Hello. I know that this post is off topic, but this is the only "popular" thread for this phone and it doesn't have it's own forum yet.
@CTXz : I hope you won't get mad on me for mentioning you Maybe you can answer me about what I wrote below.
I got Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J600FN yesterday. It is a nice phone for 200euros... But I experienced a problem. When I put a call in speaker mode, the person with who I'm talking won't hear me after few seconds and when I switch back to normal mode (speaker off) he can hear me. Now it started to happen in normal calls too. I did put network in 2G to consume less MB, I don't know if this might be a problem.
Anybody else experienced this? I'm wonder if it is a hardware issue or software issue.
Also, the volume buttons and power button is moving lil bit in left-right, I don't know if is a problem at all because are working. So, people who has this device, please let me know if buttons are same to you and if you experienced that call problem.
Thank you! Have a nice day! Robert.
PS: I'm sorry if my English is bad

Hey no i'm not mad
The calling issue is most likely software. It's also quite common. Try to wipe cache. If the problem presists you can make a twrp backup and install the stock rom again. Then restore the backup data etc.
The buttons are totally fine. All my Samsung phones/tablets have that. Why? Dunno.

Gonna wipe the cache now.
About buttons, you gave me that peace of kind by saying that I was worried that could get break soon or that I got a device with problems. At my previous phone named Galaxy S Advance the buttons were moving too but less and I have used it for 2+ years, I never checked buttons before tho.
I won't install other stock Rom yet until I'm sure that I won't break that Knox. I'm new to this Knox protection and I haven't read much about it. I already miss so many root apps from previous phone
May I ask you in how much time does charge your J5? Mine charged in 4-5 hours when it was powered off, I did this two times and now I think i won't repeat it again.
Thank you alot for your answer.
If you reflash stock it wont break stock. But if you flash twrp it will
