White Shots - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

I noticed a while ago that at the top right side of my screen, when there's something white showing on the screen like a web page,I have two white blobs which show when the screen is at an angle.
Aren't dead pixels, anyone else have this?

[Q] Display problem/ two dark lines

I brought SGS2 yesterday and I just returned it back to the store. It had a screen problem: when I put just one colour on backround I observerd two horizontal lines on the half bottom of the screen...the lines are more visible on white or yellow colour. The lines are not seen verry clearly, only from different angles.Does anyone had the same problem?
...I made some photos of the screen just before taking back the phone, I'll upload them later.
There are numerous problems with the screen to be honest.
But there are also people who don't notice anything(i think most).
There is the famous yellow 1/3 of the left side.
But beside that I had some other problems, vertical/horizontal lines on grey colour. ANd other stuff where the screen didn't work as it should be for this high end phone.

pinprick-size spots visible on screen in bright light

I've recently noticed that in bright sunlight I can see pinprick-size white dots scattered randomly over the screen. They're not surface imperfections, and they're only noticable in direct bright light (don't show up as blank dots when viewing screen in the shade).
They appear no matter what app is running, and at all stages of the boot process, so it's not a software issue.
What the heck are these? Is there something wrong with my device, or is this just a side-effect of the manufacturing process?

Click to collapse
i am going to guess that it could be dust or other small particles. unfortunately, only way i know of to remove them would be to take the device apart.

[Q] Are little dots on the screen normal while displaying a black image?

I just got a new Z2, I noticed there's a visible array of little dots on the screen (or glass) when the screen is off or displaying a black image under artificial cold white light.
Is this normal on the device or should I get an exchange?
It's my first IPS display, I come from an AMOLED world.

I think that you see something like this if am not wrong. And if you see this, i will just tell you its normal.
This thing is called digitizer grid, on some phone are more visible, on some phone are well hiden, anyway, any phone out on the world have this.

Black Spots in S3 screen. Is it a problem?

Just bought a S3 weeks ago. I thought AMOLED display can go completely off when displaying just pure black . I tested it out with a full screen black picture. The display isn't going fully black it seemed like the display was ON with mild lighting. But the strange thing that I observed are some black spots(or random shapes) during this test. PLEASE REFER THE ATTACHED PICTURE TO GET A ROUGH IDEA OF WHAT I"M TRYING TO SAY. Is this showing something wrong about the display. What's your suggestion?
My suggestion is you search for the many other exact same posts before posting a new one, it's normal to see uneven black in low light.

black dot on screen near bezel. near my clock time.

I have black dot on my screen. Has anyone else had this problem?
Might be a dead pixel.
