Anyone able to get this to completely boot? I clean flashed a couple of times with different downloads and both times it hangs at the boot animation. 2nd time I left it for an hour and it never got any further than the boot animation.

Could you tell us which recovery you use for flashing this rom ?
Did you try to use ADB from Computer and type in "fastboot erase cache" ?

I'm using TWRP 2.7.0.2
Let me try the adb command and see if it makes a difference

make sure you can connect to adb with your phone in working order before trying to logcat during boot:
1. android sdk installed
2. proper usb driver installed
2. phone in usb debug mode
run this command on your computer before booting your phone up, and it will wait for the device:
adb logcat > booterror.txt

I freaking love you. Thanks for making a ROM for this device ?

Installation:
Make sure you have SafeStrap 3.11 or higher HashCode's how-to-safestrap
These builds are KEXEC and work on any stock system version
Reboot and hit menu at the SafeStrap splash screen
Create Rom-slot3 (NOTE: this will only work in slot 3)
flash ROM
flash Gapps
reboot
Issues:
Please report all bugs at http://androidhosting.org:8050. Look through the known list before just posting there may likely already be a solution or response.
If wifi is not working after first boot just reboot new scriptp will autofix.
If you boot to a blank screen and it stays there more than a minute or so after the kexec vibrate you need to reboot to SafeStrap switch to stock and boot it (optionally uninstall and reinstall recovery from the SafeStrap app). Then reboot and select your ROM slot and it should boot fine.

Great ROM, truly enjoying all the customized options. I'm only having one problem, I can't get WiFi to work. It will turn on but it won't pick up any networks. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I installed on rom slot 3..I am on Jb.. The latest ota..
I have ss3.11.. I get only a blank screen after flashing the rom and the gapps on slot 3.
I tried wiping the cache as well.
Should I be on ICS kernel?
Any suggestions?

Just don't forget to install Superuser and change "Root access" in the developer options else you won't be able to give apps root access

Some more things that people might wonder/or not..
- GPS does not work (any workarounds?)
- Photosphere: the one posted on the slimroms homepage doesn't work, however this one on xda works http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116851
- WIFI seems to be dropping quite often in quite irregular intervals. Haven't had that with other custom roms yet.
Tried it and went back to "CARBON-JB-UNOFFICIAL-20131009-1902-serranoltexx.zip" in less than an hour. I simply did not find a reason to chose slim over carbon. Carbon rom is just so perfect :good::good: Setting layout in carbon is hands down 10x more intuitive. Moreover I noticed that battery drained much faster in heavy use with slim rom in comparison to carbon.

Sure man . I meant no harm. I even donated additional amount to arco68 to show my gratitude for supporting S4 mini LTE. I was not even addressing issues that do not work. Carbon just feels more intuitive and easy to me, and this introduces no over the top features that I need, but its just me .

Yea in certain point u will need to update Recovery's with the new commits but not to flash this first build. I see the updater is missing stuff so if someone want to swap updaters script and try let me know but it will get fix hopefully.
Edit.
NPL link removed till fix.

You need to install and run Weaksauce first then follow the Firewater instructions exactly and it will work. I just did it last night on my replacement, no special kernel necessary

I'll post the docs and fix the post up later when vikrantarya1 adds me to the project on XDA.
Enjoy! New updates and features coming very soon. (About a week)

Yes some people face that, unfortunately there isnt any fix for now.
Though bacon people solved it in a way
Flash latest cm > reboot > go to recovery again > flash marsh with gapps and it booted for them
Try this
