You can try these one:
*#7780# - factory reset
*2767*3855# - hard reset

I feel kinda slow but I guess I dont get what you mean by tab bottom right and tab upper right.

He means tap the bottom right of the screen and the top right of the screen, just before the back arrow

*#7780# - factory reset
*2767*3855# - hard reset
Does not work for me.:crying:

what happened to your Gear Fit that you need to hard reset? the normal menu in settings to reset the device don't work?

the normal reset seems to be not a hard reset.
i have the "reset at booting bug" and maybe a hard reset would help.

have you tried hold down the power button for more than 7 seconds for reset and see if this helps?

no everything works fine, as long i do not reboot.
reboot or power off is always a factory reset.

would be cool to use the little keyboard for other purposes xD

*#0228# - Battery Test
*#1111# - FTA SW VERSION
*#2222# - FTA HW VERSION
*#12580*369# - AP, CSC, RF cal, HW Rev

Try this for hard reset: *#2767*3855*#
Tapatalkkal küldve az én SM-G900F eszközömről

thanks for this, i want to use my gear fit for an intro to programming. I think it should be said that the device has to be in horizontal orientation to activate the "test mode".

X10 Mini/pro Secret Menu

Hello,
Please delete if this is a repost, but here's how to access x10 mini/pro's secret menu (access to service info, service setting and service test ) Good for testing phone's various hardware like accelerometer, compass, keypad, battery, etc.
Keypad Lock the phone
Home
Back
Back

Home
Back
Also, pressing *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer let you enter another secret menu (this menu gives you info about the phone)
Enjoy! (Almighty Mod, please delete if this is a repost)
Thanks!
Hi, I really don't know why, but the secret menu does not work for me. Has anybody else got this problem? Locked to O2 UK?

Are you using the default lock screen, and not another app like lockbot?
worked on my mini pro.
the screen should be locked but also lit up (unlock screen is displayed) before pressing the buttons.
I can confirm that I also got into the service menu - thanks
(as a result, confirmed that vibration doesn't work )
it worked for me, here e10a
Thanks for sharing
Thanks.
I have noticed under the service tests, there is one for battery. And the mAh is always at 950 regardless of what capacity I throw at it since I have one at 1420 mAh and another at 930 mAh.

Maybe it's hardcoded? LOL.. Maybe the dev working on that part hardcoded it so he can tend his farmville or cafe world (which is maybe the reason why updates don't arrive in time)... He/She thinks no one would try out other batteries...
LOL

other tips find on internet
Safe Mode, re-starts and when the phone vibrates, press and hold down left (the pictures) until it appears the sign “safe mode”
Using the phone without SIM, put the airplane mode option (left on the WiFi if you need), turn off and remove the SIM, the turn on
Test Menu, press the following sequence of buttons: menu / back / back / menu / back / menu / menu / back
Re-start, go to Settings / store / Restore factory default
Left-handed unlocking bar, press the top end of the bar and turn unlock
And now? I have upgraded to 2.1 and this sequence don't work.
Also works on the X8
No cable your mini should be plugged to run service test.
Thank you ,it's really an important share

Looks like you locked yourself out
What ROM are you on?. Can't reproduce this on stock ICS. What happens after so many unsuccessful attempts to unlock? Is there a back door like when it requires the PIN after you failed 10 times?
flash the rom again the one ur using hope it will fix it
Fixed
Thanks for the suggestions
I'm using Resuraction Remix 2.5.1
I figured it out.
removed the simcard so i wouldnt be asked for pin that goes with it(i couldnt enter it because the number pad didnt fit on the screen either) and then deliberately entered the wrong pattern until i got a forgot pattern option. Lucky wifi was enabled and allowed me to unlock the phone by using my google account. phew!

[Q] Semi-Brick : is it the hardware or Software

My tablet is HKC P077A with 8GB ROM, 512 RAM and a 7'' Touch screen (Android 4.0.3). I am having 2 problems
When I switch on the tab, first "HKC" logo comes to screen and then disappears to show "android". This is standard. But after that the thing wont move forward. Just keeps on showing "andriod" with a flashing like thing implying the loading process. But after long wait there is no start screen and nothing changes. It just hangs there....
But if somehow got it to get into normal working(I donno how, but It sometimes boots ok and gets into normal working mode, with home screen and apps and everything). So once I get it right the other problem I am having is that the touch is giving VERY bad response. I have to click at spots multiple times to select that thing. Also the response is very slow. Its like the tablet is hanged. But when I tried connecting a mouse (through OTG) and everything works fine again. Is my touchscreen gone bad..??
I am already done with, reset (from "settings> backup and reset") [I cant find how to do factory reset on this model from "off" state(read below)]
I have tried to get into reset screen by pushing "Power Button+Vol up" button. Then I know the tab gets turned on (I can hear a small white noise from the loudspeaker) but nothing comes to screen. So the "Robot with heart open" is never shown. I also tried using "power button + Volume down", this takes me to a screen written in chinese. Now, I don't know Chinese but from the look and feel, its a troubleshooting window, where I can check weather components of my tablet are working (eg. I click one menu(with difficulty), then the front cam turns on, another menu makes loud sounds from speaker and another flashes many colors in screen etc). I found that most are ok except something called "T" (On the screen, its the last item to the right, is it "touchscreen"??)
So, what can I do to get my tab to work smooth again..? Is the touchpad having trouble..? Need I do any specific troubleshooting..?? Any Ideas on which key combinations to get on to the "factory reset" menu from off state..??
Also can u please specify the key combinations to the tablet factory-reset menu from "off" state.

[Q] Touch key light duration settings missing.

Is there any way to disable/alter the settings for the capacitive touch buttons on the S6 Edge? There's no option on the display menu to change this.
No setting but if you go to power saving mode, they will be disabled automatically. By disable, I mean no light.
Fix for this issue
Hi, the fix is described here (without power saving mode): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60009456&postcount=12
ATT User here, in settings Under Quick Settings, click Display and youll see Touch Key Light Duration
Touch key lights not working
Hi, I have the S6 Edge. The touch key lights are not working at all. In Settings I have the Touch Key Light duration set to "Always On". Power Saving Mode is off, but they still won't come on. The keys do blink briefly during startup, so I do know they physically work. Any ideas? Thanks

Is fingerprint sensor working??

So I configured the fingerprint sensor to unlock using my left fourth finger and been using it during the now couple of weeks I have the 8X, until I realized this morning that any of my fingers was unlocking the device :crying:
Have you guys experienced the same problem? I would like to figure out if either it is my device which has an issue, or if it is the an overall problem shared by all.
Thanks in advance
did u try to remove all of the fingerprints ID and start setting em' up again?
mine is working fine i have left and right index finger configured. like hazem said try to remove all fingerprints and re configure
Thank you for your posts (the 2 of you) you were right, reconfigured from scratch and now it works perfectly fine.
I feel like it is faster than face recognition.
