What a great idea that is. If it was relaunched I'd like a 16mp camera. Stronger battery.
Maybe a larger screen, with higher-def. Ya, there's room in MY pocket for a 6" 1080 or even 720 screen.
Aside from that, I just wish HTC would provide a driver so those who dev, namely ravike14, chevycowboyuse, and sportsstar89 could implement new kernel, ROM's. They wouldn't have to even relaunch.

I think this specific build should be somewhere close to $700 to $800 USD per device granted that the components are compatible. Also, this should be a unibody design And it should be generally flatter, wider and taller than our current Amaze.

I'm glad you're excited about joining this board and starting this thread, but please, quit spamming the other threads on the board with the same invitation to read this, seriously!!! Reread the forum rules, spamming threads is a banishable offense. You can't go around to every thread posting about this, it's very bad form and can get you booted if the mods are alerted and feel like doing so. Do you really want that?

I think it's just a fun thing to think about, and a thread for a "reborn" Amaze is a clever idea, even if enough people aren't gonna join to get HTC to release one. No harm done.

The thread is a big waste of time, but so are a bunch of other threads here in the General forum. The way I see it since there's no harm there's no foul, however, the OP was more than a bit overenthusiastic in his promoting this thread. At least now he's calmed-down a bit and is no longer spamming the board, which is a good thing. It's fun to dream, but I highly doubt HTC will resurrect the Amaze. It never was a big seller, so whatever name recognition the name may have for marketing is nonexistent. So the likelihood that we'll be seeing a new phone under the Amaze moniker is slim. If you look at HTC past record, they will reuse the same name over and over again for devices that were big sellers. Hence umpteenth versions of the Desire and One, but low volume sellers get relegated to the dust bin of history. Sad, but true. Enjoy your Amaze for what it is, for that's all it will probably ever be.
