I own Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos GT-S6802.I already rooted this phone and was using a custom ROM.Accidentally I formatted my phone OS and all the data of my phone through CWM by pressing Volume up Key+Home Key+Power Button. Now whenever i turn my phone on it shows SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE DUOS GT-S6802 and the screen freezes.
Failure to detect phone on connection with computer is also now a constant botheration.Neither the phone nor the mass storage is getting detected.
Please suggest me how m i gonna load an OS in my device

have you take the nandroid backup before flashing custom rom
if you have it and you are able to turn on cwm recovery then apply it

That is not possible

"Thanks a ton for replying..and the thing is i can't do that what u suggested because i formatted the phone mass storage. that means CWM is also got deleted because CWM was in my phone memory..and CWM works only wen i put it in my phone memory..secondly i don't have partition between sdcard and phone mass storage.
First of all i have to put CWM in my phone memory because in recovery mode my phone can't detect my memory card..

na.....forgot to do that....

i have CWM and custom rom in my memory card.but the prob is in recovery mode phone cannot read memory card.so i have to copy CWM and Custom Rom in phone mass storage And i can't able to do that because my phone is not booting up the OS, as the result my computer is unable to detect the mobile.. As i mentioned earlier that i formatted my phone mass storage by CWM and in this process CWM got deleted from the phone mass storage too.

are you able to on download mode?
cwm is flashable using odin not by just copying it into phone memory
flash the odin first using odin in download mode
i think your phone will be detectable in download mode

Makes detection sound

Well I've never encountered the error where i don't have any room to odin? But if you can get into Download mode you should be able to recover. If you have ADB and SDK installed try to ODIN Euguene's Froyo that doesn't brick (search for it in the 'bible'). What errors are you receiving when you try to odin?
Get into download mode and flash back to stock via odin. Make sure you have odin all set to flash BEFORE attaching the phone to your pc. Here is the correct way to get in download mode:
1. Pull battery
2. Connect usb cable to computer, and then your phone
3. While holding vol up/dwn, power on the phone...while keeping vol button depressed
4. Once in download mode replace battery and flash via odin.

[Q] Galaxy GT-S7500 Need Help!

Hello,
I Have Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus (GT-S7500)
A motnh ago Installed CWM Recovery v5.0.2.8 + Rooted my Phone.
After I installed ROM (Atom Blast very good ROM just a bug with video Recorder)
Today I Decided To Install different ROM (InspirationV7).
And what I did it was:
1. Pressed the Power button (menu pop-up)
2. I Recovery mode( So to not press the key)
3. Folloed the Instruction that InspirationV7 Gave.
4. After restarting I boot again to CWM Recovery
I cant get boot into ROM it is all the time in the CWM.
Before Posting this I am already 3 hours Googling and at Xda-developers but can't find anything.
So I decided to register and ask u guys.
I can't even go to Cold Boot it is continiue just vibrate and nothing else happens.
I can connect it to PC but dont have access to Internal SD card only to External SD card
If there is a way to Make my Phone work again please help.
Or can i connect to internal using Linux and delete the boot file or edit it. Or at list see WTF is going wrong there.
Thx.
Solved. Just reinstalled the cwm recovery thru Odin.

Are you sure you entered download mode pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. If you tried that and it didn't work then it is most probably a Hard Brick (Death Of Phone).

Hit ThanX if I helped, it won't hurt, maybe...
can you enter the recovery mode?/?
I have a similar problem... I didn't install wrong recovery... but I'm not able to enter download mode (tried insert battery method also)
but I'm able to enter into CWM..nothing else but
You guys should make or buy a USB Jig so that you can forcefully enter download mode... I recall it just takes 2 things: a micro-usb connector and a resistance (don't remember the values though), you can look here in the forums for "Galaxy USB Jig" there are guides on how to build one, it can save you $10 USD
EDIT: I found it!!

S2 Black screen

Hello
This morning I wanted to upgrade my CWM to be 4.4 compliant following this http://www.theandroidsoul.com/clock...xy-s2-gt-i9100-android-4-4-kitkat-compatible/
It worked (I can access recovery mode and it says 6.0.2.9) but since then every time I boot I have a black screen after the First S2 I9100 Logo.
My mobile seems not dead.
I can access Recovery and Download Mode.
And I can access internal SD card from my WinXP after it boots.
Is this a Kernel issue?
Any solution for me?
Thank you
Try

Try flashing your stock rom or your custom rom via odin is the best way to solve it, but you will lose your data.
If you have any backup trought recovery try restoring entire backup
If i helped you

My brother broke his i9100g and it's messed up. Help?

He tried to flash cyanogenmod 10.1.3 on his i9100g and now it has problems
1) when pressed power button, it will go to twrp
2) when pressed the recovery comb, it won't boot
3) when pressed the download comb, it won't boot
4) when charging or plugged to a computer, it will boot to twrp automatically
5) when in twrp, touch doesn't work. the screen won't detect touches
Now I have his phone with me. I'm using mac and I have heimdall, recovery-clockwork, cm-10.1.3 and gapps downloaded.
Anyone with advice / guides to help me fix his phone?
If you need additional information, I will try to provide it.

Hello
I think that it's an easy fix.First, download another rom and make sure that it's for the i9100g not the i9100, why don't you download stock rom i9100g and then use a usb cable to copy it to the s2 i9100g, but in order for it to appear on open mounts and storage (i'm not sure if it is the same in twrp),so copy the rom which is FOR the i9100g and then flash it.Everything should be ok

The problem is that it won't go pass twrp. It couldnt even go to download mode. AFAIK there isnt any way to copy the files to the phone via USB cable without the phone booted or in download mode. But if what I said is wrong, please do enlighten me.

There should be a mounts and storage option in twrp, click mount sd, connect usb and then copy the file needed for flashing.
or you could try to flash a rom via odin, download samsung stock 4.1.2 and put your phone into download mode (press power button+home+volume down) and then connect a usb to flash the rom.If you have any questions related to this please ask.If the rom is installed successfully but you get a bootloop boot into stock recovery and wipe cache partion and do a factory data reset.
but I take no responsibility if your phone gets bricked or damaged
Thanks

It sounds like it could be soft bricked - might happen if the wrong phone model software has been flashed. The only way around this I know of is to get hold of a USB Jig. Its worth a try before the repair shop!
