This is an unofficial build of CM11.0.
This is an attempt to stay close to official cm11.0 and not make crazy hacks to make things working.
This is a pure CM build, only contains official CM features. I will not add any other external feature/app/etc.
For an up-to date working/not working list, bug tracker, useful guides & FAQ, visit our website:
http://legacyxperia.github.io
WARNING: This ROM uses a modified internal memory layout.
Our /system partition is originally 400MB but this space is not enough for a fluid kitkat experience and a full installation with proper google apps.
Our /cache partition is also too small to fit art-cache when we enable the ART runtime. We originally had 100MB /cache but art-cache needs ~150mb of free space.
I have repartitioned the internal memory layout, giving:
450mb in /system
469,5mb in /data
8mb in /cache
If you want to use this ROM you will always have to use the included kernel or use a kernel that includes the layour changes. Bug reports with non-standard kernels will be ignored.
You will have to wipe the device and make a clean install.
You cannot restore nandroid backups from previous android versions or restore nandroid backups from this ROM to other ROMs that don't use the new partition layout since you risk corrupting the data.
I suggest to use Titanium Backup, Helium or any other similar app to backup your data if you really need to.
Requirements:
* Have the stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 full ftf flashed (doesn't matter if you have flashed it in the past or if you flash it before installing cm11.0, it will work both ways)
* LT15i (Arc) users need to flash LT18i (Arc S) ftf
* MT15i (Neo) users need to flash MT11i (Neo V) ftf
Steps required for correct installation (order is important):
1: Flash boot.img in fastboot & reboot into recovery
1.1 (optional): If the device is not booting, reboot to bootloader again and run:
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
2: Enter recovery, go to mounts and storage
3: Format /system, then /data and then /cache (Important step!)
4: Flash update zip
5: Flash gapps (recommended package is the one provided in the link below)
Steps 1.1, 2 & 3 are not needed when you install new cm11 nightlies on top of older cm11 builds in the future
If you want to return to a ROM that doesn't use the new partition layout, you need to follow the above steps again (only replace boot.img & update zip with the ones you want to use).

This source from sony is useless after android 4.2

Big thanks for doing this for Xperia Pro. The rom works great. After couple days of use I haven't noticed any bugs. The wifi has stopped working couple times (connected but not able to use internet with apps), but always resumed after putting it off and back on. And the cause might also be my router. Batterylife is good enough and user experience is smooth. Coming from Ultimate HD, the UI feels much more responsive.
Again, thank you! I feel that this rom brought my Pro back to life.

New builds up
Nightly build 20140718 - cm-11.0
Latest cm11.0 changes
Updated power HAL & fixed frequencies
Updated partition mount procedure (might reduce long boot times)
Removed some ffmpeg codecs to use google's equivalents
Added 5MB of RAM to SF heap (reduces free RAM by 5MB)
Increased MM CMA heap to 48MB to fix potential issues with video encoder/decoder
Disabled KSM in kernel since it's incompatible with the latest CMA changes
Fixed smartassV2 boostpulse interface (it never worked)
Fixed Trebuchet blurry/oversized icons after 4.4.3 merge
Enabled swipe feature in CWM
Disabled broken in-call noise suppression
All builds are up already, go get it.

Hi Mike et al !
I just flashed this ROM coming from CM10.
Awesome!
Thank you for the hard work you all put into these legacy devices.
I'm using it without SIM card just for the fun of flashing new xperiances .
No problems. Better than CM10 (last nightly i used so far).
As for the battery drain mentioned somewhere here:
Edit as of 2014-07-31:
Text deleted. Found the answer.
Just turned phone off, charged to full, restarted, pulled ac plug.
Everything fine, no wakelock. Battery life good.

Just as an idea....
Deleted, obsolete.

## Nightly build 20140813 - cm-11.0

Special Credits to
cayniarb, Rapmv78, rmcc, shaky156 & texasice/drewis and more.
Also to the CyanogenMod team whose source this ROM is based on.
Any donations should go to the people on this list.
Also thanks to
Meaple and xxsashixx for hosting download mirrors
BigWhoop for lending me time on a much faster compile server
Attention
If your phone boots fine the first time after flashing the ROM, but get stuck on boot after the first reboot. Remove battery or press "Vol-down+trackpad+power" and hard-reboot the phone. After this it should work just fine.
Missing Features
Stable Video Recorder (The correct hack works, but needs a bit of work)
-------------------------------------------------
The CM9 source is still under development. Some things will be missing, and others might at times be unstable. Do not post questions about missing CM stuff or empty settings placeholders. And remember that this ROM, like the source it's based on, is not a final release.
Bug Reporting
This is how you do a proper report on a problem. Do not go to the thread and write "My phone does not work". It is useless information that can be used for absolutely nothing other than for us to respond "To bad".
Instead you should provide proper information about what your issue is about, how/when it happened and possibly provide a logcat and/or partition/mount information when this seams needed.
We do not have access to your device, we cannot see what you see, so without proper information we have no way of knowing or finding out what caused your problem. Only you have the possibility of accessing the necessary information.
Known issues
Device seams ded. It does not wake when pressing the buttons?
Go to Settings->Performance->Processor and change Governor to SmartassV2
-------------------------------------------------
Certain apps does not show in app drawer?
Go to app settings, locate your missing app, force close, delete data/cache and reboot.
Type "fix_permissions" and reboot.
-------------------------------------------------
Some google apps gives permission problems?
Look for a notification about granting permission, grant this and restart the app. Some times 2 or 3 restarts are needed.
-------------------------------------------------
Market download problems?
Open app settings. Go to Market, force close, clear data/cache, reboot to recovery, clear dalvik-cache.
-------------------------------------------------
Market payment problems?
Delete your credit card information for your google account and re-add them.
HBoot
This ROM needs at least 180mb on the /system partition. You can use BlackRose to re-partition your internal nand
Warnings!!!
Do not restore app data from old Gingerbread backups (APK's are OK but not the app related data)
Titanium backup can produce problems when used to restore apps. Make sure that this is not the case before writing bug reports
Do NOT setup your sdcard (Fat32) partition using CWM Recovery. This will produce a lot of different problems along the way do to a bug in the recovery. Use 4EXT Recovery instead
The sd-ext partition should be no more than max 1.5GB in size. More than this can produce issues
A2SD Scripts
Mounts2SD
This is a highly costimizeable script that is made to work with any type of device with any type of ROM. It comes with both shell controlls and a GUI Settings menu with the native settings of this ROM
You can use the commad "m2sd <command> <value>" to alter configurations from the shell. Use "m2sd help" to get all available options.
The GUI Settings menu can be located at Settings->Performance->Mounts2SD
Mounts2SD Home
Init.d
This ROM comes with Enhanced Init.d
Kernel & Ramdisk
If you flash another kernel, do not flash an entire boot.img but only zImage. Otherwise you will break Wifi among other things as this ROM is build with custom modifications to the dhcpcd control which is build-in to the ramdisk.
KSM Memory Management
Do to heavy memory load with OpenGL support, it is recommended to activate KSM to reduce the memory usage and avoid problems like random reboots.
This is done by going to "Settings"->"Performance"->"Memory Management" and check "Kernel samepage merging"
You can also activate zRam if you still encounter low RAM issues

Credits
Over the last couple of days I have received a lot of credits for this ROM, which is great and makes the time and effort worth it. However it would be very wrong to except these alone as I am not doing this all by my self. Credits should also go to every developer modding and fixing stock source. The CM team for their great work in making the Android Framework what Google should have done a long time ago. Kernel developers trying to back-port drivers that vendors refuse to deliver. Devs porting hacks for camera, UMS and more. But also people contributing in any other way that they can, like providing mirrors for the ROM's, spending time flashing unstable products to provide helpful bug reporting and a lot more. To put it simple, any type of contribution. Without this type of community, custom ROM's would not be worth the time it takes to download. No single person can do all of this by them self.

Since there has been no changes on status of an up-to-date CM9 ROM for Nexus One for quite some time, I thought I would bring BCM over here. I think that's the leas the Bravo community can do for the N1 community since most of the Bravo driver/kernel work is done by the good dev's here
I don't have an N1 my self, so I can't test it. But the ROM works great on bravo, and the N1 parts if taken from the Evervolv repo, so I see no reason why it whould not work here to.
Cheers m8! another one is keeping our devices alive.. long live N1!
So cool.
Must try.

Please provide some info regarding the following :
1.Whether this ROM requires extended partition via Blackrose or not ?
2.What works & what doesn't ?
Thats pretty much it & a huge thanks for bringing this ROM for our nexus one .
Installs fine! Great installer btw, i'd never seen this one before!

Have you tested it?
I build both, did md5sum checks and diff checks on every file. Then I added the files that differs in separate folders which is included depended on the device it's being installed from. So no, there is a difference in some of the libs, modules, idc, keylayouts, /etc files, kernel, ramdisk etc.
It is a 3-in-one installer. Bravo GSM, Bravo CDMA and Nexus One in one zip.

Have no idea about hboot's for N1. You need at least 180mb on your /system partition as mentioned in the main thread.

Yes, I see no reason copying/updating everything two times when it is the same. I will of cause add N1 specifics here if/when there is some.

thanks for the heads up bro, good info, 3-in-1 installer...only works only with 4ext recovery i assume?? u should include these info in -OP- niiiceee
No, the installer basically works with every recovery, you don't need 4ext touch.
Yes the installer works in all recoveries packing the touch driver which most do, touch recovery or not.

At last, a Nexy ICS ROM that has custom light sensor levels for Auto Brightness. I have my old CM7 settings stored in Ever note ;-)

is HWA the same as in texasice (evervolv) and samuaz (medroid) builds?
I've the mic not working issue selecting the default install in aroma installation customizer.
I think tho is related, as usual, to the included a2sd script.
So i'll try different setting in moving dalvik or data to sd and post my finds.
But overall I've to say this rom is the fastest and smoothest ics tried yet on nexus one, the issues are just the well known (obviously camera preview, slow browser rendering but I'll try chrome, bookmarks not syncing)
And the best (IMHO) is that seems more based and compatibile to the real cm9.
Many thanks to all of you as well for the other ics developer/cook/fixer.
Great ROM very fast indeed and a lot of customized options.
But I had a huge battery drain lost over 30% in 1 hour... Proces media?
So back to CM7.2 for now..

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Installation:
For switching to F2FS, see POST#3
1. Download ROM zip and GApps zip.
2. Extract boot.img from the zip and flash it via fastboot
3. Boot into recovery.
4. Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache.
5. Flash ROM zip. (it may take some time)
6. Reboot to system and let it settle.
7. Reboot and flash GApps zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM12 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.

F.A.Q.
1) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58478000&postcount=88
2) How to increase system memory?
Follow the instructions at this thread to create a swap file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2359182
I have found the recommended configurations to be quite effective, Only one swap file of the recommended size i.e. about 188MB will fix many things.
3) How to switch between EXT4/F2FS ?
Newer build has F2FS enabled for /data and /cache partition. So you need to format those partition to F2FS first.
i) Make sure to backup everything, cause you'll be formatting your data partition.
ii) Reboot to recovery and goto Wipe => Advanced Wipe. Then wipe system, data, cache, dalvik-cache.
iii) Return to Wipe => Advanced Wipe again. Now select only data partition and click Repair or Change filesystem => Change Filesystem. Now select F2FS from the list and swipe to format data partition to F2FS.
iv) Similarly, format cache partition to F2FS too.
v) Now you're ready to flash the rom. Flash it normally and reboot.
vi) Using steps iii & iv, you can easily go back to EXT4 partition. But wiping is needed.
vii) All these steps are needed ONCE. After you formatted to F2FS, you don't need to do it again.
vii) Remember, to flash rom successfully your /data and /cache partition have to be in F2FS format.
Issues
1) If you don't get root access, change Root Access to Apps and ADB in Developer Options and then back to Apps only

1. There are a way lot of memory leaks in the rom (greater than 5.0.1 AOSX).
In file manager(not Cyanogen FM), for example, I've to go 'UP' instead of going 'BACK' because going back exits the file manager.
2. They keyboard isn't persistent (maybe because of memory leaks). Cannot even complete a single word until the keyboard goes off.
Also,
Found something strange -
I changed the value of ro.config.low_ram from true to false in build.prop and I experienced much smoothness in UI than when the value was true.
Plus, I got a lockscreen wallpaper because I've enable high-end graphics.

It is a kernel feature from the pixel. The OnePlus 3/t has it in Vertex OS...

Edit: Yes, It's hardware related. No way it could be implemented for opx (I wrote to Arsenic dev)

Quick tutorial on how to send proper logs to help fixing an issue.
If you already enabled Developer options (settings) and have adb tools, start from 5.
Download the SDK Platform-Tools (adb and fastboot) for Windows or [url="https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-linux.zip]for Linux[/url] or [url="https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-darwin.zip]Mac[/url].
Enter Settings and scroll down to About phone and tap on Build number seven times.
Go back to Settings and switch to System and open Advanced tab.
Click on Developer options, scroll down to Debugging section and there you have Android debugging. Enable it.
Unzip the platform-tools and open CMD or Terminal, navigate there.
Type adb logcat -b all > *name*.log and then upload the log somewhere, preferably some paste sites.

Following April release, the sources have been released public.
Please do not release any third-party builds and sign my name next to it.
The sources might not always be stable and ready to build.
Also, please don't do any unneeded forks or reuploads/mirrors.
Don't comment for this.. i have already fixed wifi :]

if these things are working, the ROM qualifies to be "stable enough" driver in my opinion.

LineageOS repos with little experimental changes in kernel that may broke the camera actually ?
I have tested your build and I wrote my experience in your thread. (tested is not a good word here)

I don't have got d850 variant, but I will try to do that if someone can help me with testing. I don't want to spread unusable ROMs.
First of all thanks for the work and the rom. After a few minutes of testing (taking into account that it is an alpha version), as errors initially observed in my case: mtp mode does not work (the pc does not recognize the mobile), however it does load connected to the pc. Camera (i use snap camera) not working
GPS working (locates and fixes my location very quickly).
In my modest opinion, very good first approximation to oreo in g3. Waiting for wifi ... Regards
Posting from your ROM..soo yeah its working
Can I flash supersu?
Juste miss some feature (nonworking from op + advanced reboot..,etc)
Great!

For root, I flashed magisk 14 without problem (mr_bump not necessary)
I will test the rom if you can build it. Shouldn't be too difficult, cherry pick some of the D850 parts in the build. I'm by no means a rom developer, so see what you can do bud. Thanks man! Keep me posted or message me when you get it built.

I'll test it man, if you want to build it. Shouldnt be too diffficult, just minor changes from the D855 to the D850. Let me know when you have a build up for me, send me a message! ?

That's nice and all but why would you not share how to fix wifi and just keep it to yourself?

Have you tried to check if advanced options (tap build version 7 times) are working? I forgot to check it?
SuperSU should work, but I recommend Magisk.

Do you have WhatsApp or something like that?
@HardStyl3r: yes developer options appear and is active when you tap 7 times on build.
flashed magic14 but got into secure mode after reboot (all app are grey and unable to launch, expect native app) i havent use magic14 so i'm pretty sure I've miss something.. (just flashed the .zip in twrp).. i'll try the classic supersu
Battery life seems fine (no battery drain during the night)
@joselap: check/uncheck usb debugging in dev option, a popup should appear to select the transfert mode. (charge and usb transfert working for me, havent use mtp mode. check my third screenshoot)
@Xmaster24: github is updated constantly, I'm sure ZjemCiKolege is a dev who have fix the wifi on the source... wait for the next build
