Gear fit manager. - Samsung Gear Fit

When I search (in the samsung app store) for the gear fit manager I don't find it I only find the gear manager.

Hello,
did you try to type, on your phone in your browser:
apps.samsung.com/gearfit
I just try it now and it works perfectly.

Hi Faccion.
There is a yes and no to your question.
Yes, there is a way to install the Samsung gear to your non Samsung phone (for that follow the thread in the other reply)
But some apps will not work on your watch anymore and you will not get any push messages, you also will not get any updates for your watch.
I have tried it with my mobile and since then I receive a error messages that something is not working in my mobile, I needed to reset the phone.
There is also a way to start your mobile without a phone but than as well there are some apps which will not work with the watch.
The people of Samsung were not completely honest in there advertising, you do need a Samsung to work properly with the watch.
good luck

Yes, I did this and it works. But the next step is to install the Samsung apps store. I was successful in installing it but it dose not work because its a lg phone. So I changed the manufacture, brand, model to Samsung in built.pro and the stores works fine, but now when I open gearmanager it crashes everytime and I have to restart the phone! So I can only use the manager or the store but not them 2 together. I've searched everywhere but couldn't fined the answer on how to make them work together. Maybe someone knows?))

I've got them both working together. I don't know if this will solve your problem, but I only changed the model in the build.prop. I'm on a Nexus 5.

Yes, Its working now. But I still don't see the store in gearmanager. And the apps that I install only are shown on my phone.

Apps not installing to watch

I am currently using a Samsung S3 with Scott's latest ROM. Anytime I download a gear app, in this case watch styler for Gear S from Samsung app store, it installs on my phone, loads... then crashes displaying " Failed to install app." It seems like the phone is unable to "push the app install" to the watch. Any Samsung approved app Engadget, timer, opera installs fine.
Any ideas?

Try Try again these apps for Gear S are hit and miss. Uninstall the app from phone settings manager and try to install it again until it shows up under gear manager

Turns out Scotts Cleanrom 8.2 isn't compatible with Gear manger. I installed AllianceRom 4.3 - Build 23 and successfully installed watch styler!

Hi! It happened to me with a xiaomi redmi3 pro.
You need to install the apps "Samsung Accessory Service", "Gear Fit2 Plugin" and "Samsung Gear".
Good luck!!

Hey guys, did you manage to connect GearFit2 with any Tablet?
Yes and No and I spent a couple of hours being shuffled around to the most unhelpful people who determined it is not supposed to work with tablets, only phones so they would not support it on a tablet. However, I could get it to work on an old tab 3 lite, running an older rom than required but not on the Tab S2. Couldn't instal the required drivers... Google app store says no. Samsung is playing their games again. Don't know why I expected anything else from them.

Gear S + Pixel XL

Reposting this in a separate new thread after also posting in the sticky tutorial for others searching on google how to get the Pixel to work with the Gear S.
"I have a Pixel XL and tried to use the above steps to connect my Gear S to the phone.
When I try to install "Samsung Gear_com.samsung.android.app.watchmanager_2.2.14100299_2114100299" the phone says it is corrupt and cannot be installed.
When the gear manager is launched, it cannot find the watch at all. But using the regular bluetooth connection method from androids bluetooth settings does allow me to connect it to the phone. But manager still does not detect/activate the watch...
Please help! I have gotten way too used to the watch to get along without it..."
I was able to download and install gear manager from play store without any issues. Still doesn't connect to my gear s though. Says it can't find, even when I reset the watch. I need help to. Don't want to return my pixel, but love my gear s

The Gear Manager which you downloaded from Play Store does not connect to Gear S. It only works with Gear S2. This has been confirmed by Samsung that Gear S can only connect to a Samsung phone. Currently I'm using a spare Galaxy Note 3 to synchronise with Gear S for S Health tracking.

Tested on my xperia Z5C and not see also works with my Fit2. So we must wait for an update ....
I am going through the same issue, and after spending eternity with high level techs on the phone and in person at a Samsung store, I found that the answer lies in the Gear S. The last firmware update for the watch was early this year, and the watch itself cannot communicate with Nougat. Even though Gear Manager will communicate with Nougat. Right now we are at the mercy of Samsung to update the Firmware for a 3 year old device, that has been replaced by 2 generations...

Can't connect Oppo find x with Samsung gear s2

Guys, just quick question, can't connect my Oppo to my Samsung smart watch. The problem is that I can't find the Samsung wearable app in the play store. Any suggestions?
I only find the Samsung icon X app, but that's not the app that I want
I try searching for "Samsung gear", "Samsung wearable", and no result. Anyone knows if perhaps the phone isn't compatible with the app and that's why it doesn't appear in the play store? Thanks

Thanks, I know that that's the name of the app, but what I mean is that it doesn't appear in the play store:
And when I try searching the app from Google, an then open the play store in the browser, it says that my device is not compatible

Just download it from apkmirror.
I use Gear IconX and that's what I had to do, and it works perfectly.
