INSTRUCTIONS:
1. I suppose you have a custom recovery. (Philz, TWRP, CWM are all good to go)
(Use latest LBL recovery. If you can't find it, go die !!!)
2. I hope you can download the zip from link below in Download category.
3. Place it on SD Card and boot to recovery and flash it.
4. Wipe factory reset (dont argue why full reset, and why wipe AFTER installing zip)
5. Use flashtool (for locked) to flash 205 kernel ftf.
Use fastboot (for unlocked) to flash anything u want which is cm11 compatible.
6. Reboot. (AND SUFFER if you forgot to flash GAPPS, you deserve this)
7. Reboot again to recovery to flash GAPPS and accept your insolence.

Although i only flashed via PHILZ.

don't work.

"What does "GSM/MOBILE BASEBAND: NOPE" mean? "
This mean phone calls don't work? And 3G doesn't work?

Precisely !

So then what does this rom good for?

It's useless right now but I hope the bugs will be fixed in the next version.

@neXus PRIME
I just want to report that flashing via TWRP doesn't fix baseband issue. Small step forward, but now it's clear that the issue is somewhere in source.
I'd suggest you to start from strach and use unmodified bagyusz sources. After that there will be time to add some updates. If that won't work, it means that 4.4.3 brings new RIL management or something similiar. Even one commit could break it.

I also hope your useless feedback is also fixed in future versions.
I am filling in VOLUNTARILY for bagyusz until he is back, not my duty ... and people askedme to port 4.4.3.
Stay away from this development threads if u are allergic to bugs.

Thanks, The sources are UNMODIFIED. Its something to do with releasetools maybe
The only change i do is delete the line:
TARGET_RELEASETOOLS_etcetc..... Could it be the reason?

Thanks given for @neXus PRIME and @MrSteve555, appreciate the efforts.
Would love an update on LBL Slimkat if possible

If you didn't touch the dev trees, CM sources, and you only modified releasetools, I'd suspect the root of the problem there.

But it has nothing related to baseband... i searched and lot of threads tagged cm11 unknown baseband many xperia phones too. There is a fix floating around. Please help me search it.

Flashing LBL Cm11 via Twrp and Philz gave me no baseband only via Cwm did it work.
But I had no WiFi Hotspot on any.

This is the one I used but may have caused confusion I meant this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735975

I found that:
There is a fix in the first post, maybe it will be helpful.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762703
Also, we should have in mind that the ramdisk changes when the Android build changes, and running new build on kernel/ramdisk can lead to weird issues. Maybe not in our case but worth checking.
I know the releasetools aren't connected to baseband but it's the only thing that was changed by you.
Also, flashing basebands after flashing the ROM doesn't do anything, it still stays unknown. So the issue really goes deeper than the baseband.
One thing to note: When FXP320 was released, the ramdisk was broken and baseband wasn't working, but flashing kernel from FXP319 fixed the issue. But when someone combined FXP320 kernel and FXP319 ramdisk, everything also worked fine

1. Don't Replace the recoveries in this ROM with any other source. If you delete them by chance, simply reinstall the ROM without wipe or ask in this thread.
2. Don't delete any system app or file for saving space or making it light, the ROM is already bare-bones. I am not supporting any such activity.
3. Full Data wipe and Only-Cache Wipe is your choice. I ALWAYS recommend FULL Wipe. Reason you ask? Because i am constantly changing toolchains and configs. Any data belonging to old system might clash with new things.

Just tried lol
Installs OK I think no error but then does boot loop after staying on 1+ screen for a couple minutes and no boot in my test
But I'm not as experienced as others here..
I tried by installing it as additional ROM, not as primary
Normally when a ROM doesn't work with multirom, it gives an updater-script error, this one didn't.

There are no kernels that work with OmniRom. This doesn't use the CM CAF tree.

Nice to see OmniROM Lollipop release for Bacon!

- center clock
- OmniSwitch
Thanks a lot @lolzballs, will keep an eye on this thread!

Yes you are supposed to flash SuperSU. BUT you NEED to flash the 2.39 beta version.
Any other version will result in the message that the binary is missing.
Chainfire included a fix for Omni5 roms that have no selinux or have set selinux to permissive.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE 5.02 BUILDS
REFER TO THIS THREAD FOR NEW 5.1 BUILDS BY eagleeyetom :good:
Attention:
1) At bootup, this rom will self reboot after a few seconds during the first go,
and then will boot normally. - don't panic.
2) New modem firmware is NOT REQUIRED, so you'll need to flash the old modem or be coming
from a non-alpha-modem rom: link
3) You need to flash supersu if you want root access: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu

Edit: Latest build linked to 7th feb build. or is it just me. Anyways found the 16th build from your AFH account. Downloading now.
Also just a suggestion that you should mention this rom needs CM11 firmware and will have problems with the new CM12 one with proximity sensor.

Rom installed and booted fine. A slight stutter during scrolling noticed, anyways changed to smartmax and its smooth.
Materialised Apollo looks good and coherent with the rom now.

Yes, the thing is it brings Ondemand as default gov, switching to Interactive does the trick too.
But most important, there are really nice features in the way, we just need to be patient. I'm myself excited to see Omni supporting "layers" and the implementation of ambient display as active display.
But for now I'm very pleased about how solid it's working.

You are always supposed to flash CM 12 firmware while switching from CM 11s to any Lollipop ROM as it contains New Modem,Radio etc.
Features and screenshots will be much appreciated...

ROM will flash, but won't boot on multirom recovery.

No need to flash Cm12 as Omni still uses the old firmware and modem. If you are on cm11s or any other cm11 ROM you can flash directly.

If you want to go from blisspop you will have to flash cm11 modem and firmware or else you will have SOD during calls.
Also just an FYI to all camera is not working good enough. Pictures look muddy.
Will that the same for the official release? Dont like to flash cm11 because i have best signal with actual baseband

Nope, on the contrary, you should keep the old modem. If you get the new one, you'll have trouble with proximity sensor during calls.

Nope, not really. Omni keeps the old modem for now, so you shall not flash CM12 before this one. Actually, I'd be surprised to see Omni needing to flash CM for it to work

Omni Lollipop is unreleased yet, these are unofficial builds. If anyone's willing to take some screenshots I'll happily place them in the Op, yet I don't see much point in that... for now all lollipop roms look pretty much the same. But the team is working on giving layer's support and that will be a nice chance to toy with looks.
About features, i'll update the Op with some info about that. Yet I think you should try it yourself. Omni at this stage won't make you choose it for features, but for it's solid developement.

In my experience, you don't need to flash the whole CM11 firmware. Flashing CM11s or CM11 modem should be enough. It's available in the dedicated thread for modems, but if someone can't find that one, let me know and I'll provide the link.

I'm not 100% sure what will happen when it comes official. But I'm pretty sure modem will be updated.

[KERNEL][M] ODS Kernel r3

Hello all.
Today I am proud to bring you ODS Kernel for Android 6.0, based off FrancoKernel r33.
The purpose of this kernel is to build off of the amazing base that is FrancoKernel, and add a variety of passive patches, as well as some minimal features.
Features:
- Uses a Ramdisk based off of ChainFire's new SE Policy, meaning that we are able to leave SE Linux Enforcing, and retain Root
- Adds Kexec-HardBoot Flags to default build
- Disables some security check to allow (hopefully) for a full Kexec bringup in the near future (I'll be making an attempt at it, please PM me if you are interested in helping)
- Edits Ramdisk for additional MultiROM compatibility
- Built with custom ARM-EABI-4.6
- Adds partial ability to load kernel modules (in prep for aforementioned Kexec Module bringup)
- Everything included in FrancoKernel
To be implemented:
- Make use of ChainFire's new non-system altering root setup
- Allow for Wake gesture
- Allow for screen off gestures
- Add several binaries to ramdisk
Changelog:
- 8/31 - Happy Halloween!!!
Initial Release
Only setting that should be enabled by default is Charging LED, which can be disabled through any variety of Kernel Configuration apps.
I strongly recommend grabbing the FrancoKernel Updater app from the Play Store to support FrancoKernel's developer! If you want a free alternative, I recommend Kernel Adiutor (Not a misspelling).
To try the kernel, you can just "fastboot boot boo.img" To flash the image, you can use: TWRP Image Flash Option, "fastboot flash boot boot.img", or good ole' dd.

Flashed multiple times on Pure Nexus rom and couldn't ever get it to boot. Flashed from Franco kernel.. Anyone got this to boot? I installed through twrp and flashify and no go. Even tried Chainfire's boot image then su 2.52 then this kernel and no go. Bootlooped every time.
Maybe I need to do a full wipe and install that way?

Like I said above, apologies, the one on git is broken.
Also, FYI, I test the kernel on both stock and PureNexus. It works beautifully on the 10/30 build of PureNexus, and even allows for Enforcing SE Linux, whereas Bean's kernel opts for Permissive.

Thank you sir. I redownloaded kernel from link in op as you said and boot image flashed fine in twrp.
Any plans to add Francos color control in? Like the presets like he has in FKU? I immediately missed that feature. Going to give her a run a few days and see what happens. Thanks for sharing!

maybe it can sounds as a noob question but in daily use what's the difference between the original Franco's kernel and this mod?

Android Ice Cold ProjectUnoffical Note 9 by OpenSauce9810
What is this?
This is the Android Ice Cold Project compiled for the Exynos Note 9. This is my daily driver as it's probably the smoothest oreo AOSP rom so far. I recommend enabling the android P animations in the settings.,
What's working?
Mostly everything, including dual speaker, home button, MTP.
What's not working?
Powering off - if you power off your phone completely the rom won't boot. You need to go to trwp and reboot to system to get back in. (I think)
Padding on status bar may be a bit close to the edges.
Let me know of any other issues.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
Download the latest build linked below
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs). Even better if you have nothing to loose and wipe system, data, cache, storage etc
Flash the latest build (and gapps). GAPPS ARE NOT INCLUDED use opengapps 8.1.
Reboot and enjoy
Changelog:
25.10.2018 Initial Release
26.10.2018: Status bar padding fixed. Latest sources synced. General smoothness / performance improved (butter smooth now).
29.10.2018: High Touch Sensitivity Added, Adaptive Backlight Improvements, Sunlight Enhancement, Vibrator HW Improvement, Display Mode Control added to Display Settings.
08.11.2018: Synced to latest sources, S-Pen "rotation aware" fixed. Fixed an issue that was causing the phone to reboot 4 times before starting the ROM when flashing. (Unfortunately I forgot to fix the status bar padding so this is close to the edges again, will patch ASAP)
09.11.2018: Tweaked some default settings to improve experience, custom winter edition wallpaper, new boot logo. Status Bar padding won't seem to fix and idk why now. But it's not too bad on the note 9 anyway.

If you know a way to add this into AOSP Based ROMs I'll be happy to do so. But unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start I'm afraid. ?*
I asked you because it is the same as with crDroid. It is there. At least when you do a search in settings. But if you click on it it's not where it should be. see screenshot.
Btw very nice ROM. Thank you.
