contacts/press three dots/Settings/press a place above home knob for few sec/it will appear Enter service Code/type *#*#7378423#*#*/Service info/Configuration

Rooting Status :
Bootloader unlocked : Yes
So that's mean my device unlocked !!
How i can relock it ? Please

No. It only means unlock ability.
Sent from my SGP521 using XDA Free mobile app

Is should say bootloader unlockable yes (would make life easier)
Just remember to take ta backup before unlocking
To see if you have already unlocked go to service info / service test and look at the merlin key, active (locked) or error (unlocked)

Thanx guys

I'm on CM and mine just clears the code as soon as I type it completely... What could be wrong?

i bought a used z2
now bootloader is locked
how i know bootloader never unlocked
or was unlocked and then relocked
so i lost the extra features of the locked bootloader(camera etc)
or not ?

Only you can tell if the added features are tgerethere .........

Under Marlin, I have [Unknown Error] [Active] Would this mean that I am still unlocked or I successfully locked it?

Firmware version doesn't matter. 2 things that matters.
1) that your phone is older than 12w14, which you can check under battery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25802604&postcount=144
2) go to service menu (dial *#*#7378423#*#*), then go to service info > configuration . At the bottom you should see this 'Bootloader unlock allowed': , if yes unlocking supported, if no it doesn't support
well it says 11w51......
so i guess i should continue
thank you..
I too want to unlock my bootloader
you can search on forums it's somewhere there

Bootloader unlock allowed no
what should i do???
i need to unlock my bootloader
please pelp
get an unlock code from your network provider, some people have said that once they removed the simlock its let them unlock the bootloader. if that doesnt work then theres not much you can do untill someone works out another way to unlock it
no fastboot mode.
Theres only one solution I know of, and it may be a crazy one....
Use search first, and read the other 500 threads created on this topic ;-)
Short answer: No, not able to be done yet.

If you want to unlock the boot loader, use the wotanserver.com
* In addition to sim unlock you get an unlocked bootloader.
However, it seems to me that at the moment, this service does not support SXS
Try to write the administration service.

= the post above was completely unnecessary as it does *NOT* provide a way of unlockning bootloader for SXS.

What is a "rootable bootloader"?
For the Croatian members:
I've just called customer service of Vipnet( Vodafone) and they told me that there is no problem, you can unlock boot loader for only 480 HRK (~65€).
Well, if there's no free unlocking solution in few weeks I'll have to milk some cash. It's still better then locked for life.

Pay more for a phone that's SIM-Free and not subsidized by a network. That is the only way.
guys, try the ezSEMC. it's realy working, but it's paid.
I'm not seller. I used it on my acro hd and i'd got the bootloader unlock allowed: yes.
What about U/P/Sola

[Q] Sony Xperia Sola Help Bootloader Unlock Problem

I was just wondering whether (in my current condition) bootloader unlock allowed = no
should be bootloader unlock allowed = yes ?
I bought my sola from target (locked to vodafone AU) - but I already owned a telstra SIM, so I went to voda and got a SIM unlock code for my phone, and managed to successfully unlock my phone and use my telstra SIM, the thing is - shouldn't this mean that bootloader unlock allowed = yes ?
From my understanding and research, {if} SIM lock = no; {then} bootloader unlock allowed {should be} = yes; is this true ?
<Service menu screenshots attached>
I asked Vodafone and they gave me nothing useful, and then I asked sony and they reckoned it is not unlockable, but from what i have read, it should be ?
Their (SONY'S) Reply:
Unfortunately if the Bootloader is listed as not being unlockable this can not be changed. This is a choice of the network the handset is designed for and is not tied into any form of SIM or network lock.
Also something else that doesn't make sense is that Sony provided me with a bootloader unlock key even though they know it is not unlockable: ...
You have requested an unlock boot loader key from unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com.
Your unlock boot loader key is: 8***************
------ YOU DON'T NEED TO FINISH READING THE REST (ONLY IF YOU NEED MORE INFO), OTHERWISE PLEASE REPLY and thank you soo much in advance :fingers-crossed::good:------
{What I Sent Them}:
I unlocked the phone successfully from Vodafone using the unlock code they supplied to me to be able to use it with any carrier, but my Bootloader Unlock Status Allowed = No. Shouldn't it be yes, as I have no SIM lock now?
{Handset Unlock Procedure for IMEI: 352264057451326

Firstly
It took me a long time to read this m tired now
Secondly
Sim lock has nothing to do wid bootloader unlock
Sony gave u an unlock key
Bt remember u have to put only 14digits of ur imei to get a key
So u can say that its not DEVICE specific ( there are probabilities that key will work on 10 sony devices wid same 1st 14digits of imei) ( not necessarily true)
Its only a matter of luck that u got a handset wid unlock bootloader

[Q] Unlock WT19a help

Hi!
I have a WT19a with Bootloader Unlock Allowed = NO but I can use any operator's SIM.
I want to unlock it by using WotanServer but it says it only works for phones manufactured before 12w11 and mine is 12w14.
Is there any other way I can get my WT19a to Bootloader Unlock Allowed = YES?
I'm tired of loading ROMs and getting bootlops because i can't use modified kernels. And I'm getting bootloops with ROMs for locked BL even.
Thanks!
please help!! I've been struggling with this for almost a year!

FastBoot OEM lock-Orange

Hey, just like the topic, do you have any advice?
I would add that:
-Button fastboot is locked
-I can not unlock the bootloader
The phone was purchased in orange the same hence the lock
Recently I wrote here in the forum but to no avail.
Please household remedies not services.
If you have bootloader unlock = no in service menu, there's no known way to unlock it -- some claim you can after getting it SIM unlocked, others say it doesn't help...

Yes,I send it on service repair because I corrupt bootloader.
Then Sony replaced it with clean one and much faster NAND memory.
You will lose phone for a week but hey,you will get faster and unlocked phone.
Sent from my Xperia U using Tapatalk
So I have a choice:
1: Sell the phone and buy the same but with the ability to unlock the bootloader
2:, CONTACT Sony to replace me (higher costs and a long wait on the phone)
edit:
Maybe TESTPOINT metod?
NO TESTPOINT, IT HAS BEEN PATCHED!
