pre-orders benelux - G3 Accessories

people who pre-order in the benelux and register get a free quick circle case. link to the cash back site is http://www.thenewsmart-g3-preorder.nl, or go trough the official lg site if you don't trust my link

That's quite nice, we got luckier here in France, it was a G-watch as a gift for pre.orders. Thats surprised me to know that only LG France did this.

Importing the Xperia S

Hi all, for those in North America that cannot wait for the release date here have you had any interest in importing this phone from another country that has it already available?
If so, which one and are there any downfalls?
I'm wondering if this phone will work here if it's from another region, being unlocked.
Also cheapest region to import?
I just bought one from a seller on ebay for $679 shipped (2 biz days fedex) and seems to be pretty legit. We will see.
I preordered from Handtec in UK and is supposed to ship next week. It's a little less than $600 shipped to US with a few gifts included (http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/6338/sony-xperia-s--sim-free-unlocked--black-)
so my local chinese mall has them in stock.
gonna go check it out tommorrow and purchase if legit.

ahhhhh jesus I can't wait till I get this in my hand, I want it so badly. In China they don't have it yet.I'm thinking of getting this from ebay or somewhere.
Bad news guys, they didn't have the Xperia S.
They guy at the phone store screwed up, he thought I was referring to the Xperia Arc S... goddammit.
Why does Sony release the Arc S now in Canada? Nobody cares, we want the S.
Looks like I'll have to import elsewhere.
I'll bet you money that Rogers screwed us. They had a big splash when releasing the Arc/Play first and I wouldn't doubt they had a deal to sell through those and the Arc S.
So now they tell Sony to wait lets say 3-4 months after they release the Arc S so they can sell those before they bring the S here.
it looks like rogers is in the same case as telcel in mexico, they're just introducing the arc s which is a 1 yeard old phone
think I'd import it

Hey Nimche, did you get it from the Japanese seller from last time when we were all getting the Xperia Arc? I found a similar deal on Ebay (never-msrp) that says he'll get it on 3/9 or 3/11 at the latest. He helped answer a few of my questions and seems really responsive. Thinking about giving him a try. BTW, are you getting a black or white one?

[Q] Best way to get a prime in Denmark?

Hello
I've been looking at getting a tablet, and my choice has fallen upon this beauty, the Transformer Prime.
I only have 1 problem at the moment, and that is obtaining it.
I live in Denmark, where it's not for sale yet (earlier pre orders are mid April, and i don't want to wait 3 weeks to perhaps get a chance to get one before they're sold out). So I've tried looking elsewhere to purchase one.
I'm mainly interested in the 32gb version (or 64 if possible), preferably gold colored and of course including the dock keyboard
I've found this one so far:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-EeePad...2ME4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332691285&sr=8-1
But was wondering if anyone else has some ideas where to find it cheaper / closer / better ?
If all goes well, I'm going to be ordering it one of the next few days
- Moon
You don't! Get it from Germany! Since this forum has a retarded post prevention I can't post any links, but google "preisvergleich" and look from there.

I found this:
http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich...eee-pad-transformer-prime-32gb-grau-asus.html
But it's only about 100 danish kroner cheaper than the one from the UK (4550 from UK, 4450 from germany), and the one from the UK is from Amazon, and this one is from some german website i haven't heard of before :/
If that is even the one you meant? I tried googling the word you linked and that was the first website on google, and i went from there.
Ty for the try though, very much appreciated
You can post links even if you don't have the post, you'll just have to add some spaces in the link and use stuff like "[DOT]" instead of "."
Last time i checked computercity.dk they where in stock there.. So maybe u should check them out.

They are indeed in stock on computercity.dk, only in Odense though, and its 500 kr more expensive than the one off Amazon.. But it would be a lot better if I bought it from a Danish company, in case it breaks or has flaws.. Hard choice tbh :/
Ty a lot for the tip

It has been for sale several places in denmark already.
I bought one from Føniks (fcomputers.dk) on the 29 february. But i dropped that one and broke it But thank god for insurance
And i ordered a new one from wupti.dk on Monday and i got that Wednesday.
You should just check Edbpriser.dk a few times a day to see if somebody get it in stock..
Hilsen Kenneth fra Danmark.

I've checked fcomputer.dk & wupti.dk. Neither of them even have the Transformer Prime on their website, anywhere.
I also check edbpriser.dk regularly, and all the ones that are listed are out of stock and wont come untill at the earliest 2nd april, some even near the end of april.
As predicted, I got paid today so I'm going to be ordering this baby some time either today or tomorrow
I bought mine at Amazon DE, you have 30 days to see if you like it or not.
Be aware that the dock/keyboard is German, meaning that some letters are not placed in same "position" as in the UK one.
If I was you, I would buy it at Amazon UK.
You do not pay shipping cost for the Prime.
I did not do that because at that time, Amazon DE was the first to have it in stock.

I was looking at Amazon DE aswell, but also saw they were using QWERTZ keyboard setup (I think that's the one?) instead of QWERTY as normal english (and also danish) keyboards.
I'm in the process of ordering the Prime off Amazon UK, just trying to find a nice case/sleeve for it as well, to protect it
If anyone has any tips on the case/sleeve, feel free to post them
I use the english and the danish... with the tablet undocked.
No problem here is very nice.
I found no problems with "languages" in using the German one in this case.
I am also Italian... so I actually have 3 languages to use.

buying it in ebay from south korea

Hey all ,
I want to buy this watch and I noticed many sells on eBay from south korea.
watch has a very good price and according to the list it should work fine in my country as far as bands.
also asked the seller if I'll get FOTA updates and he said that yeah.
so my question is , can anyone think on other reasons why I shouldn't buy it from there?
sell for example : http://www.ebay.com/itm/321576361962
Thanks for your help
On the side of pessimistic, I'm always very careful about ordering anything from overseas. Mainly cuz what if something goes wrong???
Once i ordered a fairly expensive HD IP Cam from Asia, and when it arrived it was clearly a fake. The worse case I know of, is a co-worker that ordered an Galaxy
S5 from Korea at a great price.
After a few weeks, weird things began happening.
By utilizing a few sites that specialize in spotting fakes, he would've never been able to tell that he got taken and bought a cheap clone. And the kicker of this story, the fine print in the con's listing forced ebay to rule in his favor.
So overall, try to order products from US vendors and be sure to read the description in its entirety.
Sorta like the guy that bought a picture of a gold iPhone for big $$$, cuz he didn't read (or maybe doesn't know how).
Good luck!!!

I think that for hige-end devices such as this it would be very easy to spot a fake product , for example , curved screen is not something that every manufacturer can make.
and as you said , ebay buyer protection plan can always save you.
in addition there's the whole feedback system that if you know how to work with you can figure within 2-5 minutes of investigation if the seller is reliable or not.
my main concerns are about the version of the watch , will all apps work on it etc.

Don't be so sure on the looks alone. Take a look at this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s/general/gear-s-150-t3001480
First off. This model won't work in the US.
There are a lot of different versions of the GS... Each for a different segment of the world. I would do some 2G/3G/4G frequency research on the model you're buying and the provider you'll be using it with. Also, make sure it's factory unlocked... Trying to get it unlocked from another country would near impossible.

yeah , $150 for a brand new watch is of course a ripoff.
you're right , the south korean watch won't work in north america , but as you can see I'm not from US
I guess I will cancel this order though , since I found other seller from Europe who also promise to cover any customs duties if it gets stopped.

[Q] lg g3 quick circle cover wireless.. help

hello... how is this cover? could be bad??? i live in italy and don't want buy in usa or china for long time shipment... other suggest? thanks
http://www.ebay.it/itm/Quick-Circle...LH_DefaultDomain_101&var=&hash=item27fc7faa7a
I have an LG quick circle case, and I live in Italy. Hard to say if the one in your link is OEM or aftermarket, it is cheaper, but then you take the risk. Try looking at amazon.de they are usually cheaper than Italy (saved 100 euro+ on the phone ) and shipping is not bad. I have received items quicker from Germany than from inside Italy, but not always.
Unfortunately something appears to have changed with the shipping to Italy recently, so companies I purchased from late last year no longer ship to Italy, but amazon does with no problem. I only use e-bay as a last resort, just too many problems for me over the years.

They're supposed to be sold unlocked.
I bought mine after reading this person's comment from Reddit: Reddit [ dot] com/r/lgv10/comments/3ny4lc/lg_v10_now_on_sale_in_korea_for_690/cvukuvz
They purchased their phone from a store called LG Best Shop.
Go to map [dot] naver [dot] com and search for LG전자베스트샵 부산역 - choose the location best for you.
I tried a few LG stores the 1st day the phone went on sale and I didn't have much luck but I was also looking outside the Seoul area so the phones probably didn't arrive to my area yet. Almost every LG Best Shop should have the phone by now.
I purchased mine from a store called Hi-Mart Mobile. Hi-Mart is a chain electronics store and Hi-Mart Mobile is a mini version of the store.
Go to map [dot] naver [dot] com and search for 하이마트 부산역 - choose the location best for you.
I left Korea recently so I haven't had a chance to test out if it's really unlocked or not but I'm expecting a new sim card so I'll reply after I receive it.

Good to know that they can do papers for tax refund. What is the amount of tax that a foreigner may recover?
Thanks.

You should get a bit over 8%.
Tax is 10%, but the company that handles it takes almost 2%.
You just need all the papers filled in, and then ask for a refund in the airport. The phone has to be brought in the hand luggage, so it can be shown to the customs officer if he asks for it.
