Youll probably need to update your SPL (unlock) with a bootloader like nueSPL v2.4 and most likely need to flash a newer radio i.e. 3.27+
The windows mobile build is 28232 (The Latest)
Carrier is only Telecom NZ however i may build other carriers at later stages.
(To get the camera to work, rename HTCCamera.exe to Camera.exe in \windows\ folder overwriting the orginal)

I have a HTC Mogul Titan V6800
My company is Iusacell (in this moments is a problem it's bad, broad band is limited to 128Kb if you download o use 3Gb of data, etc)
I can´t activate the camera (copy HTCCamera is not functionality) when execute camera.exe then launch camera but black screen show me, then I need reset my HTC.
My txt msg is preserve after the reset.
Memory is good (with activesync 25.41MB, without 25.77MB), the IE is good , no problems at the moment with the memory (memory low, of course "at the moment" jejeje)
Active sync is launch automatic when I don't connect to my pc, it is not good because consume battery and memory
I can´t execute ##778# (qepst) to access to my configuration
No games
Is general stable, data and voice is ok

this is one of the best roms i've used but i'm still having txt msg issues. i've done a hard reset few times and it does not resolve it, everything else works fine...pls can you assist
This does work for verizon - install attached file.
By default, it is setup for Telecom NZ, but it you run the attached DCD Verizon carrier.cab file and reboot your phone, it will work for Verizon.

I've given up my binge on pocket pcs for a while... but here is to my knowledge of the faults that have been discussed.
*please note* i'm unsure about any of the txting issues as i didn't have mine connected to a network (though this rom was built with Telecom NZ Carrier, I never used it)

In regards to the camera. To my memory, yes, i don't think you can just copy this file. I think i either just renamed it in \windows\ to camera.exe overwriting the original, or copied it out to my desktop, renamed it, then copied it back.
If all else fails use a program like 'Total Commander' to force overwrite it.
Once you do get HTCCamera.exe replacing the original camera.exe it will work.

Camera issue is fixed in 6.67

I also have **working** cabs for adjusting how many icons you can have along the start menu.
Normally its 3. With 6.67 i'll provide cabs so you can also edit this to 4 or 5 (6 is just too small lol)

sweet rom dude - i was using PPC kitchen to build a similar one but had troubles getting the camera to work.. .stoked you have a fix here

Can anyone please tell me how to change the Change Servide provider name (Network name) ? After flashing with CyanogenMod 7 in my HTC Droid Eris it is showing as "Verizon Wireless" which is wrong. And I wanted to change it back to my service provider as MTS.

The text that you wish to change is in the framework-res.apk file. I've modified this before on my Droid X but never did it on my Eris.
Although I modified the framework-res.apk file manually (the details are a little too involved to post here at the moment), I think there might actually be an app for doing this, but the name escapes me at the moment.
Try doing a Google search for "htc droid eris framework-res.apk" and that'll lead you to a lot of threads about some of the steps that might be involved (the manual way is not really for the faint-of-heart, LOL--I tried modifying a DX version of a friend's file and ended-up bootlooping him, but I'm pretty sure that was because he had a deodexed ROM and I didn't).
There are various ways and tools to use to perform this modification, so its kind of hard to suggest a specific one for you.
There might also be an option somewhere in CM7 to change this, but I don't know that for sure.

I have flashed an LG LS855 Marquee from Sprint to Virgin Mobile US.
The only problem now is that I am receiving MMS messages as garbled gibberish from phone number 9999999999. I searched the forum and they have been able to come up with a fix for this on the Samsung Epic 4G, but I do not think that this fix will apply to my device.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Virgin Mobile MMS Fix
I have been digging through the posts from the Development forum for Epic 4G flashed to virgin mobile. In order for them to get their MMS working they have had to edit the framework.jar to decrypt the incoming messages.
So I am looking at de-compiling the framework.jar for my Marquee, and for a Virgin Mobile stock phone, to see if I can figure out what needs to be changed. I might be able to fix this, but I am not sure I will be able to recompile properly for dex...
Could anyone provide me with some insight into this process? Thanks.
OK! Progress. MMS fix for androids flashed to VM
After comparing a de-compiled version of the CdmaSMSDispatcher class to one taken from a Virgin Mobile VM670 stock rom, I have been able to make the changes that will hopefully allow the MMS decryption to take place on the flashed phone. The cool part is that Rom builders could include this code in their roms to allow them to also be used on virgin mobile flashed phones without it breaking mms for the original carrier.
The only problem now is that I have no idea how to begin recompiling this class back into the framework.jar so that I can push it to my phone. I am trying to use eclipse and no matter what I do there are tons of dependency issues, and I have no idea how to turn this off so that I can compile the java file into a class file to replace the one in framework.jar.
If anyone could help me out with this I would appreciate it!
Just want to give back the favor, Because of XDA developers i was able to UNLOCK & ROOT my AT&T HOX+
I'm Posting here how i was able to ENABLE MOBILE TETHERING using AT&T stock ROM ( did not change anything, still using original rom)
My HOX+ software info:
Android Version: 4.1.1
HTC Sense Version: 4+
Software Number : 1.19.502.1 710RD
HTC SDK API LEVEL: 4.63
Kernel Version: 3.1.10
Your AT&T HOX+ should be:
1. Unlock ( network unlock)
2. Rooted
3. Apps : SQLITE EDITOR ( this is paid apps)
Here' how i was able to MOBILE Tether using T-MOBILE Network ( able to save money by switching from at&t, no contract)
1. I setup the TMOBILE APN {settings/ Mobile Data/ Access Point Names}
2. Then open SQ LITE EDITOR
3. Go to APPS Tab
4. Look for DIALER STORAGE \ carriers
5. Now look for your TMOBILE APN ( normally its on the bottom of the list)
6. Make sure to copy the NUMERIC & MCC & MNC
7. Then scroll up look for line " ENTITLEMENT" ( PICK ONE)
8. Edit the NUMERIC & MCC & MNC to match T-MOBILE APN ( dont touch the rest of the column)
9. Hit exit or BACK, it will save what you did.
10. See screen shot #1 how it looks like
11. Turn on Mobile Tether ( should have a good network signal, i notice if there are none it stop to tether) I'm using HTC BUILD IN mobile tether no other 3rd party apps needed to do this.
12. See picture # 2 , showing you proof it tether using T-Mobile network
Optional Procedure ( you dont have to do this): To force TETHER your phone by altering HOTSPOT ON from value 0 to 1 (SQ lite editor: Setting Storage\system\ ). Then restart the phone, it will automatically activate MOBILE Tether. See picture #3
DISCLAIMER: I did everything above, and it mobile tether my phone without any hardware effect. I'm still using AT&T STOCK without flashing any ROM. The only thing i did was to modify the ENTITLEMENT area of the phone. I wont be responsible if you do anything and your phone got brick, you know thats always the risk in modifying any phone.

Hello all, new to modding devices but having fun with it!! These forums have been a huge help, but still stuck.
situation;
Verizon note 2 4.4.2
-rooted
-used buildprop editor to open apn list
-ED file explorer let's you wright files, so added apn in system/etc apns-conf file
-reboot all that, I added two identical apn scripts in the folder just to test, and I get
Two on my list to choose from.. still no dice. Have tried several things like switching gsm, global etc. Still nada..
I'm sure I am just missing something entirely obvious if anyone can chime in.
