Is it worth updating my stock rom to the latest modem? Are there any glitches I should be aware of?

Can't wait for Android L and voLTE to be in my area. I get HD voice though, so is that voLTE?

No, voLTE is different than HD voice. You already get HD voice if you're talking to another tmobile customer.

Wow, so I think it will be even better w/ 15 x 15 or 20 x 20 LTE and voLTE. I guess now's a good time to be a TMO customer?

No when volte is activated I get dropped calls. It has to be volte because when I turn it off I don't ever get a dropped call.Besides that everything is perfect.

I would try updating to the latest firmware. I have no issues with VoLTE. Does it happen to you only in a particular area or everywhere?

If its just a localized area there might be something wrong with the towers and a call to T-Mobile might do some good. But be glad you have LTE at your house I don't

NMF26F Official 7.1.1 Radio, Vendor, Bootloader Images

New radio 3.78, 3.62 bootloader same (as the previews I think)
Radio: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6gKUVYog-pVZmw1ckY0WG1YakU/view?usp=sharing
Vendor: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6gKUVYog-pVOW9ScXdlZEJmYzQ/view?usp=sharing

You are a saint
Seems the bootloader is the same from previous build.
So is the radio
Anyone know why they're holding it back for Verizon?

do you know if this new radio 3.78, 3.62 will work with MM6.0.1? I'm still on MTC20L.

Try and if it doesn't.. revert. It should as there is a stable API (RIL)
I didn't flash the vendor.img - but everything seems to work properly.
Do you guys think I should flash it, or is it okay the way it is?

Could be that the vendor is the same. But build.prop should be different. You didn't get a warning at boot?
Anyway.. just flash it.
I did get a warning, but flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-9/development/fix-build-prop-variety-fix-aka-contact-t3133347 which fixed it.

Why do you flash a zip to make your system think it has the correct vendor while you could actually flash the really correct vendor? Flashing vendor has 0 side effect..

Wonder why there was no such VZW exclusion announced with Android 6.X or 7.0? I was ping ponging back and forth between VZW and AT&T with Note 7 and 6P in Sept and 6P was fine with both on 7.0. On a completely different topic, is Android pay working for everyone on 7.1.1 ? It isn't for me :crying:
It works fine. I have vzw. I wouldn't worry about anything. I'm waiting for a custom ROM anyway. Stock android is too vanilla

Someone said in another thread that they thought visual voicemail isn't working. They had to use Google voice in place.
I accidentally flashed NMF26F on a 6p I'm using with Verizon. Everything seems to be working fine. Do anyone know why google excluded Verizon?

Visual Voicemail works, however I can no longer call to check my voicemail. It will end call immediately on connect.

Verizon is always late to ota pretty much. They are picky with the bootloader on their Android devices. Due to mobile Hotspot reasons.

All of the factory images before this one have been for all carriers. I dont think Ive ever seen them release an "everything but Verizon" image, until now.

If you unbrand your phone, does that network unlock it? Sorry for the newbie question, but I genuinely don't know!

Nope. Just removes the branding and network provided bloatware.

As long as the firmware you want to flash is bootloader version 2. Look at the last five digits of the version. You're running 2ARF7. So you can run anything that also has 2 there. For instance, 2ARBG.

I do have LTE and I do get calls. Didn't to anything. Simply flashed the ROM according to the instructions on the OP page and that's about it.
Perhaps it has to do with the operator you're working with.

Strange because I'm a tester on the asop rom pie and the dev gave me a build to test on calls on lte and worked. Perhaps it works for others or just they say it does to feel special. Lol
